Current Mood: Happy
Full name: Opec Pronunciation: OH-pek Nicknames: none Goes by: Opec Age: 96 Height: 5' 9.5" Hair: Mid-back length and pure white Skin: Grey and freckled Eyes: Bright grey with light pink centres
Gender: Male
Personality: Opec is an eternal optimist, seeing the silver lining in every terrible situation he comes across (including losing the entirety of his youth to slavery). He's generally flirty and friendly, but can be a bit stand-offish when confronted by a Human, of which he believes are good for nothing but food for Vampires. His promiscuity isn't a sign of low self esteem or any such thing, he just holds sexual acts in no high regard, and will do fairly anything for anyone he's fond of.
Occupation: Ex-Escort <<;
Race: Viishnu* Sexuality: Homosexual Relationship Status: Taken
Likes: Isaiah, Oliver, making people happy, companionship, Irizu, nature, exploring Dislikes: Beatings, emotional pain
Quote: "Yes you do~"
Past: Opec was born quite unique, having an extremely flexible frame and being one of the few Viishani that are not completely white. He was dubbed a "sixty" in that sixty percent of his main features are not white (the greatest amount in nearly 600 years). This made him worth quite a sum, and so he was sold to a rich man (he must refer to him only as "Master", although his true name is Jinn). Opec was moved from manual labor to...the more private needs of his Master at the age of ten (gaining the large sum of ten facial piercings (left side of both ears & eyebrow, 2 tongue) over his previous slavehood). Once it was found that Opec could not concieve children, however, he was sent out to make his Master money in selling his own body. He gained literacy slowly over time, but maintains an ignorant appearence in front of Master (so as to not anger him), and was a fairly if not extremely well-known slave in his home land. Now, however, Opec lives in his Master's old abandoned mansion with Isaiah, Oliver, Irizu, and Uziri.
Home: The building itself seems to be falling apart, along with Opec's door, but behind said door is all the workings of a small manor; a paradoxical time-space rift bought for him by Master. The apartment building is in Durem while Opec's actual home is technically on Pondoya.
*The Viishani
Keep in mind, there are very few survivors of the attack on Pondoya by the god Littulo. There is no longer any set custom, religion, or set of traditions any longer. The world is in ruin. Below is the old state of this previously glorious civilization.
The Viishani are the only race known to occupy Gaia's smallest moon, Pondoya (only accessible by a twice-daily intergalactic ship). They are a pure white people in flesh, hair, fur, claws (which extend from sockets beneath the flesh like a popular graphic novel character), and eyes. They live in a completely barren land of dirt and stone, never recieving rain, and are able to withstand any sort of atmosphere. The Viishani live an unnaturally long time, and will do as such until the water content of their body has completely dissipated (due to a complete lack of water on Pondoya) at which point they will die and self-mummify. They cannot bleed out (their blood has evolved to gain sentience) or starve to death (as they do not need to eat, but not-eating will lead to a swifter death as anything consumed is absorbed into the blood stream, subsequently liquified, and then taken in by the sentient red and white cells as nourishment), but can be killed by the rending of vital organs (of which they only have three) and Viishnu-specific disease. Also, Viishani flesh will knit and heal in the unconscious sleep state as an evolved survival mechanism, and they possess hollow fangs (they grow behind the normal canines flipped up flat, but are re- and detractable) that can be used for the secreting of a fatal, paralyzing venom (simply temporarily paralyzing other Viishani).
The racial sounds Viishani make are a puppy-like bark, an eerie howl, a gutteral growl, and a kind of gurgling purr. It is not uncommon to see a common Viishani speak English well, but slaves tend to lean toward broken English and racial sounds. As far as displays of affection are held, sexual acts are reserved for only those allowed by masters, and the contact of lips to any part of the body is singularly allowed with one's own master and none other.
Those Viishani who have other colours aside from white are considered very valuable and are sold into slavery to various rich Masters. Their value is found by creating a list of ten features (hair, skin, left eye, right eye, claws, tail, left ear, right ear, and miscellaneous), counting the number of those that have a colour aside from white, and placing that number over one hundred. These slaves can be used for manual labor or 'repopulation'. Each slave is given a facial piercing per year after purchase that they are able to maintain 'purity' (the more piercings, the more valuable and all piercings are on the side of the dominant hand), and an irremovable anklet that can be attached to a leather lead and holds the very coins with which the slave was bought.
The average Viishani's clothing consists of a flowing tunic and pants of varying colours while the slaves wear long robes, colour depending on value. There is generally gold jewelry adorning the Viishani (although facial piercings and anklets are limited to slaves), and their culture as a whole smacks of a deranged sort of India.
Most importantly, all Viishani are relatively hermaphroditic. All identify as male (having male external organs) but are also capable of carrying and birthing egg-bound children (pushed through what would be considered a belly button to those who give live birth). They can be impregnated by any reasonable bodily oriface (ie. any that leads to the inner torso), and no contraceptive is currently known.
Some Viishani appear more effeminate or masculine than others. It is also said that Viishani are incapable of falling in love, only able to act upon feelings of lust, and will never marry or choose life partners, instead cycling through various slaves in their lifetime.
