((Because i am a dork i am ripping Reno's casual cloths off fanart i love, see
mind you he'd have the black shirt buttoned in public))Smirking the Turk slid down the streets mostly unnoticed, if by unnoticed you were meaning that no one spoke to him but everyone stared at him, on his way back from a shopping trip. There was a nice little shop on this side of town that sold the most deliciously soft silk shirts. With a nice holiday bonus coming his way he figured he could spend the extra money, besides you couldn't pick people up in clubs if you were in last years fashions.
Watching as some poor little blond girl's eyes followed his denim clad backside he almost laughed. She would be tempting if it wasn't for the little ring on her finger. Not that it had stopped him before but it was the holiday season so he should be nice.
Flicking a stray chunk of hair over his shoulder he continued down the street. He didn't look like he would normally but even to an casual acquaintance there was no mistaking the bright red hair hanging down his back.

As Kaleb made his way down the street on his way back from work at the hospital, he probably would have been releived to know he didn't attract much attention at all. The mage probably wouldn't have noticed even if he was looked at, he was only really paying enough attention to his surroundings not to bump into anyone.

He'd contented himself to a day of relaxation in a part of town he didn't frequent and therefor hopefully wouldn't run into anyone he knew. Now, hoping this was too much so when he spotted a familiar head of blond hair he smirked.
Sliding up behind Kaleb he dropped an arm over the other's shoulder. "Fancy meeting you here"

Usually Kaleb could count on an uneventful walk home, so when Reno appeared out of nowhere to lean on his shoulder he jumped a good foot in the air with a startled yelp. Once he recognised Reno and caught his breath, he offered a smile. "H-hi, Reno."

"Out for an afternoon strole?" He straightened his jacket and looked at the startled blond. It was far too much fun picking on him for it to be healthy. Then again Reno didn't do many things that were healthy.

Kaleb shook his head. "I'm on my way back from work, I missed the bus so it's faster to walk than wait for the next one." He shrugged, and then glanced at Reno's clothes. "Is it your day off?"

"Right ... you don't have a car." Then again neither did he, he just borrowed one of Rufus' when he was able to.

"Never needed one," Kaleb replied with a smile. "There are some nice places around here," he said, glancing around at all the fine and more than moderately expensive stores that lined the streets. He hadn't actually been in any of them, too pricey for his hospital work salary, but Reno certainly looked like he could comfortably shop in the area.

"You should get yourself some new cloths." He poked at Kaleb's shirt. "I mean i know you can afford it with what Rufus pays you" Even if Kaleb got half of what he did it would be enough to warrant some new stuff. "Can't have a Turk looking like a college student, even if you are one"

Kaleb blushed a bit, he certainly couldn't imagine himself wearing anything like what Reno was currently wearing. "I-I wouldn't know what to buy," he said with a sheepish smile.

That had been a horrible thing to say to Reno. "Well then i guess i'll just have to take you shopping one of these days." He draped an arm over Kaleb's shoulder.
"And if i'm going to drag you out to get a drink with me later we'll have to find you something better today."

"O-okay," Kaleb asked in a startled manner, being ambushed on his way home from work was one thing, but he certainly hadn't expected Reno to make plans so quickly. Not that he minded, his work left him too tired to practice his magic, and he had nothing to study until he passed his test and earned access to more advanced material.

"So ..." He grinned and turned Kaleb around. "Let's go to the bank and figure out just how much you have to spend."
Kaleb might not have been able to keep up with him drinking but he could at least buy the kid one to celebrate his new job.

"Okay," Kaleb said again, he knew the bank wasn't too far back. Usually he would just wait for his bank statement to be mailed to him, but he had to admit he was rather curious as to why Reno thought he would have enough for some nice clothes.
Once he got to a bank machine and entered his pin number so he could check the balance, his eyes widened.

He was leaning on the wall beside the machine and laughed as Kaleb's eyes widened. "More than you thought huh?"
