All of Del's lessons were paying off, Kishi had figured out how to read, it wasn't complex reading, there be no of mice and men being comprehendable for some time but the basics she'd mastered. Now armed with this new ability Kishi had decvided it was time to learn more about herself, well about her kind anyways and what better place to do so than the HQ library.
Having found the section labbled folklore and S she was busy scanning the titles for books on Succubi. Grey eyes scanned the many leather brown and old tomes untill they settled on an acceptable book. The cover was blak with silver lettering on it and small lewd drawing of a succubus on the spine. It was too high up for her to reached however, determined to have it and not trusting the stools or chairs ( she remembered her mother falling on at least one occasion) she reached out wither her wand hoping to hook the book and pulled it down.

Oak was in a bad mood that day. Rather than being at the library with his guardian he wanted to be at the garden playing amongst the weeds again. It was the most fun he had.
"Harrumph" Oak seemed to mumble.
"OH chill dude, we'll go soon after I find another book to read up on. Maybe I’ll even take it with us." The Elvin guardian sighed. As the two wandered into the opening of the library, the smell of books and leather binding broke into the air. The two of them didn't notice the others in the library as they wandered over to a desk and took a seat. A pile of books where already starting to stack themselves on a corner.
"No better way to start, we might as well start with this pile." The elf smiled, unknown to that these books where for children and had just been read.

Unfortunately for Kishi the book was hooked and did come down it fell quicker than she had imagine and landed on her foot . What followed was a stream of curses and whimpering as Kishi kicked the book from her injured foot and swore at it as though it had done this on purpose.

Oak stared and gazed around the room. Shocked and scared from the sudden noise. A silent, but audible whimper of a cry began to crawl out of the tree boy's mouth.
"What’s wrong Oak? It was just a book falling, I wonder who's the clumsy old fool." The elf nodded with a warm smile on his face. Bringing his hand up and patted the baby on top of his multi colored hair.
Kyo took a seat on one of the tables wooden chairs and began to browse through the book resting on the table.
"HEY are you ok?" The elf called out to the apparent 'Old fool'.

" Foot hurts a stupid book fell on it but it's ok," Kishi said walking out to the main part of the library so she could find the owner of the concerned voice. She carried the book in one hand and her wand in the other as she made her way out there.
Upon spotting the libraries other occupants all thoughts of her hurt foot were banished. There was a baby here, Kishi loved babies , she didn't know why she just lovedthat they were warm and trusting and almost always friendly.
"Hi I'm Kishi I live here, who are you guys?" she asked in a friendly tone.

"Well I'm Kyocho and this little guy is Oak. It's very nice to meet you Kishi." The elf whispered. Setting down the book he was holding in front of them on the table.
Oak looked up and over at the unknown figure and watched her carefully, but soon a smile grew on his face. Green eyes following the figure of Kishi's wings. They where different... really odd and different.

Noting the baby's eyes on her wings she extended them to full length glad she had learned to balance with them by now. Falling over would not have improved the guardians opinion of her who probably though she was clumsy for having the book fall on her.
Placing her book on the table Kishi smiled " It's nice to meet you both, will you be here long? It's gets lonely sometimes and I like to meet new people?." Plus now some adults would talked to her, not like an equal mind you but they at least recognized when she spoke.

Oak smiled as big as he could and clapped his hands together in joy as he watched the bat girl extend her wings. A soft giggle left his mouth.
"It looks like Oaks like your wings there." The elf smiled.
"Yeah I guess we'll be here a while. Just trying to find a good book to take home for a while to read to Oak here.
"You going to be here long?"

Kishi laughed and bent her wing so it would brush the strange haired boy's cheeks. " A lot of babies like my wings but it's sort of fair since I also like somethign about them usually. Plus I don't even have the best wings of all of us, Malum an angle boy has the softest nicest feathered wings." There was awe mixed with jealousy in her reply.
" Yes I'll be here for a bit, I found my book already but I don't think I'll read it just yet." One it would have been rude to read with company around and two Kishi suddenly had the feeling that she'd need a few more lessons with Del before a book fo that size was going to be easy for her to understand.

Oak let out a high pitched squeal as he squirmed in his seat on his guardians lap. Reaching out the oak boy tried to grasp onto the leather wings of Kishi.
"Ah.." His fingers making grasping motions.
"Oak those aren't yours so keep your hands to yourself." The elf nodded, but didn't attempt to stop him. Setting the book down on his desk, the elf looked over to Kishi.
"I don't believe I've met this Malum."

" I'm sure you will someday , everyone meets each other here or there eventually becuase we're all connected." Kishi said. Considerign how many different kids she'd met out of pure chance she was sure she couldn't be the only one.
"It's ok I don't think he'll hurt them, I eman I wrestly and stuff and they're ok" Although then again when she wrestled with Zah her opponant didn't have sharp branches on their arms either. Still it was easier to get a little hurt then it was to see a baby sad becuase they were denied something. At that thought she lowed her wings so they could be touched.

"Hmm... Eventually." Kyo nodded. Remembering the first time he arrived here at the Head Quarters. Strictly by chance he had met with a large sum of people by the library. If that didn't happen he would have left and never had met Oak here.
Oak reached out and took a larger and tighter grip on the edge of the wing. "Ah.."
A large smile grew on his face in excitement. The texture was surely something else.

Kishi smiled at the leafy haired child, as a baby his grip wasn't all that bad so she didn't mind him grabbing her. " You'd look cute with wings" she mused " Dunno what they'd be made of but it'd still be cute." Of course Kishi though most things would look better with wings, not having them made people unique and different which was fine she just happened to prefer wings to no wings.

A smile grew on the treelings face. Feeling the texture of the wing and bone between his fingers some more. It was truly different than anything else. A small yawn left his lips.
"Looks like some one is getting tired, we might be leaving here soon. Thanks for keeping his attention Kishi." The elf smiled and nodded.
"I'm sure Oak will like to hang out with you again." Kyo nodded.
