so....people who eventually read this....whats your drumline like?
mine is soooo awsome...we all have nicknames
we have
4 tenors - Rhiannanananan*me*, chunk, jeremy, and tod the rod
6 snares - hannah banana, j-rad, big cory, buckweet, bacon bits, Matt-muh-nat-mat-muh-nat-mat-matt
5 basses - 4, 5, philly willy, rangina, brent
4 cymbals - BECKY!, Shtephanie, Jordan, and some chick that just moved here
then alot of people in pit. *we dont have nicknames for them.....yet*
Theres this one chick in our pit....shes the s**t...i know she'll make the line next year....even though we're in the same grade....but shes still kick a**...
im pretty much rambling to myself

I'm a chick and I was bass captain for two years (10th and 11th) and co-drumcaptain (since there are always 2 captains) for two years (11th and 12th). I played snare this year just to do something different.
As far as what our drumline is like, words cannot begin to describe. We were usually well didiplined but we stiil had an awesome time. Some of us had nick names. Like B-rad, Turtle, the Puerto Rican, Whit-Whit, Sasquatch, etc. We always had a drum huddle before we took the field for every game, competition, etc. and B-rad would always get in the middle and yell "What kind of drumline are we?" and we would always respond with "Multi-racial!" B-rad was also crowned homecoming king and the entire line rallied to hoist him up and carry him off the field. We have pow-wow sessions with the bongos, congos, and shakers every tuesday and friday in the bandcave and we always threaten to revoke The Puerto Rican's green card when he screws-up. We also had a drummer, Josh, who was in a wheelchair. He played snare in the pit. Anyways, he would do doughnuts in his wheel chair outside of the band room. One time, he allowed some of us to borrow it and we grabbed guard flags and started jousting in the band room. Yeah....

(sorry for intruding the guild)
I always wanted to play tenors. crying I couldn't play it for outdoor season and now, even though I wanted to, I couldn't try out for tenors and I'm stuck in the pit again.
