It was dark, so very dark, inside the closed tent. Mushyn had left hours ago to fetch more water and food but the young mare really wished she hadn't. Right now, she hurt, the bandages around her left hind leg had unraveled and she could feel a bit of blood trickling from the wound. All and all she had gotten off lucky. She had been so sure Lightning was alright but now she knew all he wanted to do was kill her.
Lifting her head slightly she looked around the vacant teepee. Everyone had left her now. Amoena when she was just waking in the morn and Bandit an hour later when she didn't return. She was so tired and so very very bored. "Anyone...help!" She wailed letting her head flop onto the ground hard.

Jeevita hadn't visited her sister in awhile, but couldn't find her at the beach where she normally was. Wondering around, she decided that she'd check her sister's two-leggers teepee. Sometimes it was always good to visit, and it was also late.
Coming around in view of the teepee, it looked rather dark and lonely. No one was there? It seemed it was too quiet. Too quiet until she heard a slight voice asking for help. Well, more like a tired yell for help.
"Luna? Are you ok?" She asked. Luna sounded so differen't. Something was deffently wrong. A slight panic went through her. What had happened? She walked closer to the teepee. The teepee was closed, though, it was easy to open. She stopped right out side of the teepee, not sure if she wanted to open it or not.

A soft ear flicked at the sound of her name. Someone was looking for her, but who? Lifting her head up slightly she peered at the opening to the rather small teepee. She was expecting it to open but it seemed as though she had been mistaken. "And now I'm hallucinating..." She muttered burying her head under Tala's blanket.
She closed her eyes to sleep but something felt wrong. Someone was outside, she could hear them breathing. Lifting her head she looked fearfully at the entrance flap. What if it was Lightning? He must have noticed she wasn't dead by now but what if it wasn't? She needed to be sure. "Who....Who's there?" She asked trying to still her trembling voice.

She felt stupid for a second, why doesn't she open the teepee. She felt a huge wait come over her. What was wrong, why wasn't she coming out? Something sounded horribly wrong. She took a light step closer to the teepee to open it finally. What ever was within, must be seen by her.
Looking in the teepee, horn going in first and then her blue head peaking in. Slightly shocked to see what she did. Her sister, Lunathiel, looked as if she had been attacked buy something. "Luna! What happened!" She said in a very worried voice. This wasn't good. What had done this? Who had done this?

No answer. That never meant anything good. The injured oceanic female began to slide back away from the opening as a rustling sound showed it was opening. At first all she could see was a horn tip. Three things had horns, Kalona's, Unicorn's and Alicorn's. It didn't look like a demon horn so she rulled that out but why wouldn't a good one like the other two answer?
"Stay away!!!" She shrieked pulling the blanket over her head as though it would protect her. A familliar voice stopped her shaking and she nosed her way out of the blanket. "Jeevita?" She asked cocking her head to the side. There she was. Standing in the door way looking positively terrified. "Jeevita! I'm so glad it's you...I was scared it was him again..."

Jeevita stood there for a second blinking. She was terrified of someone. So many things she wanted to say, but all she did was stand there and look stupid. Well, horrified sort of. She opened her mouth and shout it a couple of times looking much like a fish out of water.
Finally, she asked. "What... What happened? You...." She couldn't find any words to put into her mouth. Nothing could come out after the first question. She was slightly frightened. First time in a long time she had been. Her sister had been attacked, what if she had been killed? "Who?"

This was the chance she had been waiting for. He was long gone now, and so, he needed to be stopped. "It was Lightning...he's completely gone..."She whimpered for some reason she felt sad. Why should she care about him, he tried to kill her! She shook her head angrily. That wasn't the Lightning she once knew, he wasn't the one she once cared about. Not anymore.
"We need to tell some one Jeevita!" Her voice was urgent. Shouldn't it be? If he wasn't stopped someone else could get killed. A foal even. "Amoena!" She looked at the door anxiously as if expecting her daughter to burst in at any moment. "Jeevita...have you seen my girl?"

Jeevita hadn't seen any of the foals since they were in the baskets. She shook her head no. She hoped that she hadn't gone looking for lightning. "She'll be fine." She tried to calm down. She didn't know what to do about Lightning. She was no match for him. Another skinwalker, perhaps? But she could never talk to another one, they'd just kill her without saying anything.
"Who, who would we tell? We could worn others, but no one can stop him. Unless it was a Kalona, perhaps. But I'm not exactly someone they'd want to talk to." She looked at Lunathiel. "We can only worn others. Though, even if we do worn them, what will happen? I don't know." She felt a slight horror come over her. This wasn't good at all.
She'd only ever seen one soquili hurt from a skinwalker, and now her own sister. She shift. "Perhaps you can try to talk to Princess Soquili about it?" She suggested. Princess Soquili would know what to do. Or she hoped she would know what to do.

Her sister had many answers but none that she was looking for. All they could do was warn people? Her sister hadn't exactly sounded optomistic about the Kalonas. That must mean they were close to being at the Skinwalkers' evil levels, but could it really hurt to try and meet with them? Then there was Princess Soquili, she was truely kind and would never want to hurt anything. Not even the skinwalkers, they too were horses at one point after all or from what she'd heard.
"So that's it, Jeevita? No helpfull advice for your sis thius time?" Shaking her head sadly she gazed at the floor then trailed her eyes up to her wound. "Can you at least help me out a little here?" She asked gesturing to a pot that was full of something foul smelling that took the pain away a bit.

She sighed. If she knew what to do, she wouldn't be standing here taking with Lunathiel. She'd be off trying to help. "Lunathiel... It's not that easy. I would help, but I'm not that strong compared to them. There are hardly anyone that are a match for them." She didn't get it. There was nothing to do. "If there was a group of soquili, perhaps they could take one down. But other then that, there's nothing one can do. Kalona's won't help unless somehow they are involved." She stated.
She came in the teepee now, fully in there. It was quite a big teepee. She walked slowly over to the pot and picked it up by the handle it had in the middle. Turning and setting it down next to Lunathiel. "Who ever does attempt to go after them, would only be asking to die. I know, I could never be able to beat one, but Lightning came around again, I'll be there to stop him to a small point. " She said. She could only stall for so long. If he wen't after her wings she'd have no escape, though she did have her horn. Which could brake off if too much force was on it.
"What do you want me to do? I could try to talk to a Kalona. Calamity might listen." She said. She doughted that would help to much. She hadn't seen him or talked to him since the day he hurt that red mare. Her eyes had no hope in them.

"I wish it were that easy..." She mummered before falling silent. Listening to her sister almost felt like being scolded by a mother. In honesty she rather liked it never knowing the feeling before. It was an intimidating and yet comforting feeling. She looked to the ground again as her sister entered fearing for a moment she was going to add a beating to her lecture.
The soft thud of a bucket brought her attention back to the real world in time for the last bit of Jeevita's speach. They would die? That didn't seem right. There had to be some way to stop them, maybe even a way to return them to normal or so she prayed. "Don't bother with it..."She mummbled bending her neck a bit awkwardly to reach the bucket. "If you don't want to...I can always try. After all, I've seen first hand what they're like."

She got slightly annoyed with her. Why did she have to be so stubburn? "Luna, next time he sees you, I'm sure he won't hesitate to kill you. It's a merical that you even got out of it like this." She looked at Lunathiel for the first time with fear in her eyes. She knew that Lunathiel would try hard to go after him. "Please," She stopped. She didn't know what else to do. She didn't want her neice and nephew to loose their mother like they had. She didn't want to loose her sister. "If not for me, then for Ameona. If you still want to go after him, then have others help. You know I'd be there for you. Even if it's the death of me."
She felt like she was talking to the teepee walls. She looked to the ground. She lost her family once, she wasn't about to loose it again. "We'll figure out something."

Lunathiel cocked her head to the side abandoning the numbing medicines beside her. Her eye brows begain to raise slowly as her sister spoke. Did she think Luna was going to go after Lightning himself? That would be suicide and she knew it. "Jeevita...uhmm...what are you talking about?" She asked finally once it seemed her sister had stopped her conclusion jumping. "I was gonna go see if I could convince a Kalona to help...I don't think they'd kill me first sight..." Internally she was laughing in a rather psychotic manner. No, they'd wait for her to open her big trap first.
Her leg twitched slightly and began to throb. The last bit of poultice was loosing its effect. "A little help sis?" She asked returning to try to grab the pot ignoring her sister's horn.

She did a slight sigh of relieve. Yet, she felt slightly stupid. She smiled. "Well, they might get angry with you, but you can try. " As long as she talked to the right kalona they wouldn't attack her. But who? Who was the Kalona that hated the way the Skinwalkers distroyed their home. All of them. But who would actually try to go after a skinwalker? She didn't know. Her and Luna would have to talk to different ones.
She pushed the pot closer to Luna. She couldn't really stand the smell of the stinky stuff, other then that's what Alsoomse used. She wasn't sure if you were suppose to drink it or put it on the wound. She looked at Luna for a second. "That stuff really smells bad."

Lunathiel rolled her eyes a bit. Like she didn't know it smelt like vanilla, jasmine and rotten fish all blended together. Still, it did help. Taking a deep breath she picked the container up and poured a small amount on to her half unbandaged leg letting the foul scent into the air. She gagged and nearly dropped the pot but managed to set it down or risk stinking up their home forever. "Sorry..." She said trying to breath through her mouth to make the stench lessen a bit for her.
Finally becoming more accostomed to the scent she thought about on the more serious subject. Things like these she didn't like. These subjects tore families and friends apart but somehow they were always necessary. "Well...if they attack we're doomed but it couldn't hurt to try. There's gotta be at least one that will help...right?"
