I believe it's being licensed to air some time next year, I'm not too sure, I'll read up on it and let you all know if I was right.

Yeah and lets hope they don't use horrible voice actors because that's what ruins my intrest in a lot of animes

Yea, let's hope not, but I hope that they use Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Light.... ^_^

They have a pretty high standard to meet up to though heart Kappei Yamaguchi as L heart. I don't think I'll like the voice actors no matter who they use.

Gosh I really hope not. I love American and all but everytime it gets a hold of an Anime series....it gets all f***ed up. Srry for the language

but Death Note is pretty violent..hopefully they won't chang eth story when it comes to america confused
I really hope they don't bring it to the US. I've noticed any anime that is good when it is subbed and liked by a lot of people is suddenly hated when it reaches US shores.

Oh, it's definitely coming to the US. No question. I don't think it'll be shown on TV, though. Just advertised like crazy in the back of various manga.
