Citrine strided slowly at the boundaries of the forest by the temple. She had no reason and no motivation to return home to the Nature Pack and wished to stay by the temple. The fall season was quickly turning to winter and the cold air nipped at her tail and ears. She hopped around quickly, looking strange in doing so but warming up quickly. She could see several malu around her. She wondered if any were interesting or wanted company.

Odyss darted around the trees of the forest. Breathing hard, but steady, to keep him going. He was finding it easier and easier to maneuver around the trees, the more often he did it. The thought excited him. Soon he would be ready to begin his journey.
A wide, grin, could not help but spread over his face. With an extra bound, he started to the end of the forest. Seeing how long it would take him to sprint back to the temple.
He barely got out of the forest however before he collided with something… or someone.
Grunting in surprise, the older child tried to regain his balance, but only managed to fall to the ground, sliding in the sand on his chin.
When he came to a stop he looked around shaking the sand from his fur and blinking surprised at the female he had run into.

Citrine felt something collide with her legs as she yelped slightly and jumped in the air. She looked down, seeing a younger malu with a slight brick color to him. Her heart was beating hard as she stared at him for a moment. Not angry, but afraid for his safety.
"Are you alright?" She turned and faced him head on, looking down at him still. She hoped he wasn't hurt at all.

Considering the Question for a moment, he glanced down at himself. Other then a dull pain on his chin from hitting the ground, something that was expected after falling over. He was perfectly fine.
“I’m alright” he informed her in a calm almost monotone voice.
getting to his feet he shook his fur out again, and walked over to her “I’m sorry for running into you. I didn’t expect anyone to be there” he explaned

She smiled at him. He was quite cute. And reminded him of herself when she was younger, spending time alone wandering and making fun for herself. She gave him a quick look over herself, looking for blood or things that looked out of place, but only saw a slightly brown area under his chin.
"It's okay as long as you're not hurt." She smiled kindly at him. "What were you up to anyways?" She inquired, curious as to what he was doing in the forest running around.

His eyes shifted away from her, and towards the forest as she asked the question. For a moment he didn’t say anything. Then looked back at her
“I was training” he said simply “for when I got on my Journey”
he offered her a soft smile, though his eyes where still rather distant, only half open despite the adrenaline rush he had gotten from there little run in.
“Can I ask why you where wandering outside the forest?”
Guessing she might have been headed somewhere interested. Well at least he hoped so. She could have very well just been on a walk.

She smiled warmly, speaking to the malu with interest. "I was going to return to my pack. The Nature pack. I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to stay here a bit longer or leave now. May I ask what kind of journey you are planning on going on?" She was curious as to what a young malu would be planning so early. He looked as if he was only half with it at the moment and she was interested in the kind of reply she would receive.

Well now. He had never been asked that question before. Blinking slowly a couple of times he shifted his head up to the sky watching the as a flock of birds flies off into the trees.
“I’m going on a Journey… because I’m a traveler,” he said though some thought.
It was not really an answer to her question. But he didn’t know how to answer it any other way. What kind of Journey?… it was just…a Journey.
“I’m in the Nature pack to” he said after a moment nodding slightly

Citrine giggled politely at his response, it was all too innocent. "Ahh, well I hope your journey goes very well." She paused, then adding, "I've never seen you around the nature pack before. Then again, there are always new members showing up, and I'm often spending much more time at the temple. I hope you like it in the Pack. I find they're very friendly creatures." She paused, looking toward the sky. It was getting late, and if she didn't want to miss dinner with the pack she should get back soon. "I should be leaving actually, now that I think of it. If you'd like to come with me you may." She slowly started heading into the forest.

Odyss smiled softly again.
To be honest. He didn’t know anything about the pack. He was only in the pack because Vivaldi was in it.
Odyss didn’t have time for packs… or he might be lying to himself, perhaps he was to scared that if he got more involved with the pack, he would want to settle down… and if he did that… then he would not longer be a traveler.
“Thank you” he said politely “but I promised someone I would return”
he got to his feet “Thank you for the chat” he said smiling again and turning to dart away after a good bye bow.

She had hoped he'd follow, but if he needed to stay, she would not pressure the rambuncious malu. She stopped and turned around. "Okay, It was very nice meeting you, too," and at that moment she realized she didn't even know his name. "Well, Goodbye!" She yelled after him.
She then headed into the forest, starting her trek toward the pack.
