I'm a GCD lurker, so I've seen it already. ^^
I don't have the time to mess with it, but I've seen a lot of crazy theories on how to get past the second page. Last I saw, no one's gotten past the second page yet.
I think it has the feel of a Gaia new year's eve event... And maybe the manga or something else will reveal answers to us as we go. I don't know what we'd get out of it, except for more zurg secrets or something~ But I'm hoping for an item. XD

I admit that I haven't been paying much attention to this puzzle and that alien mothership forum thing...
But apparently the number, 291106 appears in the puzzle. People believe this points to tomorrow's date (11/29/06) and think we'll get more information tomorrow~

I hope so. While I've been extremely sick over the last couple days I haven't had much to do I've been hooked on trying to figure that out, and its getting very frustrating since I made the mistake of trying to spend so much time on it.

^^ Someone once mentioned that since jigsaw puzzles are usually updated on Wednesdays, they figured the new puzzle would hold a clue. :3
Again, I haven't had time to pay attention to it... did the puzzle help?

Thank you! But by the time i got to this post I already figured out the correct order. In the puzzle, its mostly Zurg 'letters' but there's four english 'words' ..sort of.. and all one needed to do was put them in the correct order in the second page.
The more that comes of this, it's screaming new years item/event to me. Anyone else thinking this?

I just hope we get an item out of it. XD;
If it's going to be part of an event, I hope that it is New Year's Eve and not Christmas. Frankly, I've been sick of the aliens since a few days after they were first introduced.
I want to see what happens to the NPCs. I want to know who the sniper is. I want to know who labtech x is... Etc~ At least we now know why Gino was againg so fast. And I want to know how Santa and Mrs. Claus are doing. XD
Argh, my computer spazzed on me while typing this up. >.< Anyway, I hope it's part of the New Year's Eve event and not Christmas. ^^;

Don't get your hopes for an item up too high, I haven't gotten one since the second puzzle I ever did and never got one with this.
I really hope that it's definetly new year's rather than christmas. I'm hoping for a nice bit of a break from the alien thing and just plunge into something a bit more.. 'holiday' than that for a week or two at least before christmas.
I've never experienced any christmas or new years on gaia, what's it like?

Oh, I meant getting an item out of that main zurg puzzle... Hey, maybe this is what some of the quests in the quest system will be like. XD; Anyway~ yeah, I always get my hopes up for an item when I do a jigsaw puzzle and am always disappointed to not find one...
I hope the Admins feel the same way about the storyline. ^^;;
Hmm~~ My memory gets hazy as I try to think back. Christmas 2k4 was like Christmas 2k5. I believe there might be an event forum, but you don't get items from posting in the forum. There's no big forum event like what happens during Halloween. But the admins can always change that~ XD
You go caroling at the stores to get items. ^^
There wasn't much of a New Year's event in 2k4. I think there was something where you could click other users avatars to kiss under the mistletoe. This ran for a couple weeks... And on New Year's 2k5, we had a Masquerade Ball and posted in the forums for elftech clothes given to us by Mrs. Claus.
Anyway, these events should give us items and plot updates...
