Papina zipped out the front door and straight to the park, looking for the best spot of sunlight to bask in. The sunlight at home was ok, but the park had much better sunlight to soak up. She settled into the spot, shoved both hands and feet in, tilted her head back, closed her eyes... and let the light bathe her in it's brillant and mighty glory. The leaf on top of her head quivered briefly before settling as well. She had her first class soon, and she wanted to be at her best.
((~Note::. This PD is taking place before the first class.::~))

Isdra's father had brought her and her older brother to the park for some unknown reason. Thought they needed to get out more or something of that sort. Her sibling was currently in a tree pestering, something he did well, another child of his kind. She seemed completely aggatated by him, but he was oblivious. It was slightly entertaining.
Herself, she had made herself quite comfortable hanging from one of the gymnist poles they had set around. People kept giving her strange looks, but she ignored them. Actually, she was quite open-minded to them. She completely understood the fact that her body moved in... inhuman ways, but she also didn't care. If people wanted to stare, so be it. She couldn't change there minds.

Papina got an odd feeling in her stomach. For a moment, she ignored it, thinking it may have had something to do with what she ate earlier, but when the feeling persisted, she frowned before concentrating on where exactly the feeling was coming from... and why. She found her head turning, and when she opened her eyes, she saw a girl hanging from one of the gymnist poles. Ok, unusual, but nothing for her to be worried about, or even sense. She pulled herself out of her half-buried posistion and stood up before dusting the loose dirt off as she started to walk towards the girl. Where those... fins on her hands? Could she come from the same place Papina herself did? It might explain the feeling if she did.

Isdra turned and somehow managed to pull her body through the space between her arms and the bar, and flipped herself up on top of the bar. The bars had entertained her for a while, but now they were simple a way of entertaining other people. Looking about she spotted a strange girl. She...She had a leaf on her head...? Interesting.
She was staring at Isdra, too. This was to prove interesting. "Yeah?" Isdra shouted at the girl, obviously startled by the shout. "You're staring at me. What are you thinking?" Isdra said as she fell backward and swing around right as the girl got close to the bar and bend her back she she was facing the girl normal, yet her body was the other way.

((*tries to follow Isdra's movements to tell what posistion she is in and fails* x.x; Wow.))
Papina jumped at the shout. It startled questions she didn't even know she had out. "Are you a spring of some sort? A coil maybe? Maybe a..." She trailed off, she just couldn't really figure out what kind of scroll child this girl was, but whatever it was, it sure was flexible. The leaf on her head trembled before stretching out to the other what-must-be a scroll child, attempting to communicate. She quickly blushed and added, "My scroll is poison ivy," if the other didn't get what she was asking about.

(XD OHHH! I want draw a mini diagram now. XDDD)
Isdra blinked a bit confused by what the girl was talking about, but then totally hypnotized by the girl's leaf. She reached out to tried to grab it, in her hypnotized state, but threw off her ever so delicite balance and fell to the ground below.
"Ughf!" Escaped her as she hit the ground and she curled into a slight ball in pain. "Ugh... That... was... painful..." Isdra moaned out as she uncoiled slightly and slowly sat up. "That... was different...." She'd never been that out of whack before, but she shook it off. What the girl had said right before she fell interested her more. "You're a scroll, also? Interesting... Parasol. That was my scroll."

((^^; That might help if I ever have to figure out what Isdra's doing again...))
Papina winced as the other hit the ground. Did she just hypnotize the other? Interesting. She'd have to try that later... in private. In the meantime... "Sorry. Didn't mean to make you fall..." She blinked with interest at the other's question-and-answer combo. "Yeah, I'm a scroll too. Cool. Parasol. Knew it had to be something exteremly mobile." She was fasinated. The only other scroll kid she had met up until now had been the marmo-something monkey kid, Reign. Parasol didn't sound like they could have allergic reactions... She held out her hand. "I'm Papina." Hopefully the parasol kid would say what her name was.
((>> Are we having this... like... right before class, either just before they go or earlier that day?))

(Either earlier in the day or the day before or something, because Isdra was late to class. XD)
Standing up, Isdra brushed off her jeans and shirt. "Nah. That's fine. I think I'm just easily distracted by things, so it's not your fault." Blinking at the girl continued, she realized that she talked alot. At least more then most people she knew. But she seemed nice, so it was fine. "Heh. People usually think I'm a freak, such as my Dad who is completely sickened by my inhuman abilities, so that was the reason I snapped. I apologize."
Isdra watched wayyy to much news, yes, news. News, the health channel, discovery, TLC, the Food Channel, and of course the history channel. Hence her growing interest in Japan and the parasol's history. Shaking the green haired girls hand, she smirked, not smiled, smirked. An un-sarcastic smile or anything other then a smirk was hard to come by with her. "Isdra. A pleasure."

Papina shook her head at Isdra's apology. "It's ok. I know I'd snap if I had to listen to all that." She tilted her head to one side, considering if she should say something or not. "And I don't think you're a freak. I don't see why you'd be considered one. You're a scroll kid, and we all have special skills."
She shook Isdra's hand as she grinned back. "A pleasure indeed. You're the second scroll child I've met, and I've heard there are suppose to be lots of us." Her eyes got round for a moment. "Have you met any scroll kids? Beyond me, that is." She was always curious about which scroll kid had what on their scroll, and if it had anything to do with their past lives... assuming that part was true. She didn't remember anything about a past life so far. Maybe there was something in the library that could reveal if she really did have a past life or not. She'd have to consider that.

Isdra definitally liked this girl. She was nice and quite entertaining in a conversation. "Heh. Obvious. I, not to be offensive in any way, shape, or form, look more human then you. I mean, I have normal black hair, normal blue eyes, and no.... abnormal appendiges. Other then my fins and red tattos, of course," she waved her hand in the air with her fingers spead apart, "So people automatically think I'm human instead of scroll and they get freaked out when I can moved my body like so," at that, she bent backward to touch the ground, then lowered herself to ground.
Continuing her 'act' she flattened the upper part of her torso against the ground, lifted her feet off the ground, and bend them back, putting them against her head. "Tah-dah," Isdra muttered dully, as she stood up normally again and dusted herself off yet again. "Um... I think I met one. I was quite young, but I distinctly remember a tail."

Papina blinked and looked at Isdra more closely. Well... she supposed she could she Isdra's point, but still... Wait. Fins? Red tattoos? She didn't noticed those before. Even cooler. "Cool." She said in response to the fins and tattoos. Something occured to her and her eyes filled with worry. "Does it hurt if you do something to the fins?" She couldn't see Isdra not damaging those fins if she twisted into all sorts of shapes, although she didn't seem to have any problems with the pretzel she just did. Then Isdra said something about seeing one with a tail... and her eyes lit up as she put it together. "Oh! Was her name Reign?" Wasn't Reign going to be in class too?

Isdra laughed as Papina just then realized her fins and such. "Uhh... yeah. It hurts. Bad. They bleed profusely when they get cuts," she muttered as she made a fact pained face. Blinking, she realized that the green girl had switched subjects again. "Um... I actually have noooo clue. It was a while ago and like I said I was younger. Plus I don't have a totally amazing memory when it comes to people."

Papina made a face of her own. "Owwies then." She looked crestfallen when Isdra said she didn't remember. "It's hard to forget that tail." She blushed and added under her breath, "More so if you wanted one for your own..." She then brightened. "I think we'll see her later in class if I'm right." She paused and pondered. Class was today and not tomorrow, right? Wait. "You have class, too, right? We'll be in the same class?" She knew Reign, she, and one to two others would be in class, but to be honest... she kinda forgot who the others were...

Isdra blinked, a bit confused. She seemed quite fonder of blinking, but that was beside the point. "Hm... I have no clue. My Dad probably knows." Turning to looked for her dad and when she spoted him, she smirked, "Yo Pops! When's my class?!"
Looking up Paen blinked out of his book, "Um... I don't know. I'd have to check. Probably later today... At least think."
"Real helpful, Pops!" She shouted back sarcastically. "Eh. I got no clue."

Papina also blinked. It seemed to be catching. "I think there's only one class at the moment, so if you have class, and I have class..." She cheered up. "We'll be in the same class!" She would have hugged Isdra if she didn't think the parasol kid would mind, but instead she settled for beaming a wide grin in Isdra's direction. The leaf on top of her head twitched and jumped around with joy. She didn't know when class was either, but she knew her mom was a stickler for those facts, so she'd know and could be asked when Papina got home.
