Autumn wandered, the parade- and more specifically the crowd of people who had watched it- leaving her drained and anxious. She was pale, and her hands shook, but she smiled a bit as she kicked a ball of glittery confetti into the gutter. Bobbing around her feet was Ati, and Autumn couldn't express just how relieved she was that she'd gotten back into the imaginary rainbow bathroom men's good graces.

She'd have to be more careful not to offend them. She didn't need anybody else gossiping and plotting against her.

FD and Skel crouched, unnoticed in the shadows of an ally overlooking where the parade had been not too long ago. Both had Sporks out, and were scanning the dwindling crowd. Skel darted out every so often, looked around, and then scurried back. FD ran out after him, and appeared back momentarily, laying down the Sporks she had salvaged from passer-byers that had gotten them from the temporary Ice Cream stand.

Stare.

It was rude, but Autumn couldn't help it. Not only did the two in front of her have glowy hallucinations following them, they were human-shaped to boot. Approaching the one who had a wing-ed girl following her, as she seemed somehow less dangerous (as the other seemed to be weilding sporks, of all things), Autumn called a soft greeting, standing meekly as she waited to be acknowledged.

Lexiel peeked from the corner of a building that looked onto the street where the parade had just passed. Grimacing at all the garbage that people left for street urchens to play in and cleaners to come and clean up at night, she looked a wearily up and down the street, looking out for anyone who might be an officer.

Earlier she had snuck out of the orphanage to see the parade, but she couldn't see over the tall crowd, she only being about 4'8" with her lolita style boots. She knew the orphanage would have called the police already, to have them on the look out for her. She steps from behind the blackening brick wall and brushes off her many ruffles of her puffy skirt, trying to get off any dirt that might have collected in such a dark and nasty alley way.

She patted her pocket, making sure that it was still there. She didn't know the refill policy of happy home, which she just recently became apart of, but she did know that she must keep it in her possession at all times, and never let the ladies who ran the orphanage to get their grimey hands on her pills, even if they were the ones who decided that it would be best for her to take them.

She glanced around to see if any other living form was still on the streets. She noticed a small group of people a little further ahead and across the street, and looking up she saw a black cat sitting on a sill also looking at the group of people, as if it was studying them. It crouched up its back hissing and quickly returned inside through the opened window. She mulled over the whole situation a bit confused but decided to head over to the people anyways, curious at what they were all doing in one place when everyone else had gone home.

FD swiveled her gaze over to the new person, also noting someone else across the street, before catching her question. She glanced down to see the little rainbow men, and grinned. "Rainbow peoples!!" She cried, dropping down to sit more at their level.

Skel glanced down, saw them, waved his Spork at them, and then looked back up. His eyes locked on the person across the street, who seemed to be coming over. He took a step towards her, then stopped.

(FD has decided blue is Skel's color.)

Skel jumped back as he heard the honking, and then the curses. Now, his eyes fixed on the girl, he drew out another Spork and faded out to almost invisible. After a moment, though, he vitoed that, and went back to normal, because usually, people couldn't see him. And if she could, well, then she might have a friend of her own. Walking fast, he approached her, smiling slightly.

Lexiel had her head leaning up against the cold iron bars, thinking about the item in her pocket when she saw a blurr of something pass in front of her.. She looked up but saw nothing. She looked a bit closer and when her eyes unfocused she saw the faint outline of something that, when she was looking straight on, wasn't there. The look on her face was almost one of amazement, mouth partially open, wondering if what she saw was there or something she was imagining up. She looked down to her lap where her hands sat still slightly shaking. She felt a little sick, but she repressed the feeling and once again looked over at the group who stood quite near to her.

She noticed someone sitting beside her asking if she was okay, but her hearing was a little off because of the shock and the sick feeling. She nodded, swallowing hard. She saw that she was one of the people from the group and that she was a little out of breath.

"I'm fine," She said, a little bit exasperated,"just a little startled is all. I should be right as new once I calm down a bit.
