Hi there! Here's the place to introduce yourself to the other members of the guild.
I'll go first (Now updated) xd My name's Zoe, but you can call me Zosie. I'm 15 and live in the South West of England with my three sisters and parents. When I'm not rotting away at school, I'm always watching the TV and surfing the web (except my freeview box has broken my TV, and I can only watch it without sound.) My favourite programs include Torchwood (obviously,) Doctor Who, Two Pints and Scrubs. I'm astraphobic and acrophobic (points to anyone who knows what I'm afraid of xd ) I'm lactose intolerant and very very weird.
I guess that's it. If anyone wants to know anything else, Feel free to ask. Don't forget to introduce yourself first though.

I'm some more members! Well, one more member. I'm Jean, or Jeannie, or J, or Fred...whatever you feel like. I'm seventeen and I live in the States, so my exposure to Torchwood is mainly limited to the episodes I can find on YouTube and Google Video. Any gaps I have I fill with Wikipedia, which is my indispensible Doctor Who and Torchwood reference. I have seen, so far, the first three episodes and Greeks Bearing Gifts. I am not ashamed to admit that I am lusting hopelessly after Jack Harkness. Astraphobic, going by its etymology, means afraid of the stars question and I think acrophobic means either fear of open places or of buildings.

Hiya, my name's Min, I'm an Obernewtyn/DoctorWho/Torchwood addict. I'm from Oz (*cough* Australia) and I spend my Monday nights downloading the previous-day's episode from Britain razz
You have no idea how wonderful it is to find people to talk to Torchwood about!

chrisgboyle Dr. Phoenix . I am not ashamed to admit that I am lusting hopelessly after Jack Harkness. lol but i think they are suggesting that jack is gay.. there was definitely something homoerotic going on! Indeed. I believe he was described as pansexual somewhere, but I don't remember where. I'm lusting after him too though, you aren't alone xd
Anyway, hello to Jean/Jeannie/J/Fred and Min!
Jean/Jeannie/J/Fred: (Still haven't decided which one to call you sweatdrop ) According to wikipedia, astraphobia is fear of thunder and lightening and acrophobia is fear of heights. I'm not sure though, although wikipedia is pretty trustworthy, I don't always trust it on everything (I do trust it's Doctor Who and Torchwood information though xd )
Min: I'm glad I have people to talk to about it too! I only have one friend at school who watches it so I can only speak to her about it.

I'm Veta, and I'm in the US. I am the resident slash expert, so feel free to ask me anything about Jack's romances. xd
For the record, Jack is bisexual, and most of the characters also seem to be to some degree. Jack has been with many variety of species/genders. xd

Hey all, I'm a Torchwood fan stateside. I've been a fan of Doctor Who for a while now and I'm glad there's finally a Torchwood guild!
As to Jack's sexuality, I think gay would probably be wrong word. RTD classified him as an omnisexual and also said "Jack doesn't categorise people: if he fancies you, he'll do it with you."

chrisgboyle i thought i invented that word. it means they'll take wat they can get like an omnivore right? Bingo, meaning to Jack, gender, species and so on wouldn't matter so long as it's cute enough. Pansexual would probably work too.

The Doctor, on Jack Harkness: The Doctor: Don't worry, he's a 51st-century guy. He's just a little more flexible when it comes to... 'dancing'. Rose: What do you mean? The Doctor: Well, by his time, you lot are spread over half the galaxy. Rose: Meaning? The Doctor: So many species, so little time. Rose: You mean that's what we do when we get out there? We seek new life and... The Doctor: Dance. From "The Doctor Dances." We've kinda gotten off-topic, haven't we?

Hi I'm Katherine or Katzy, i don't mind which you call me. I absolutely love David Tennant, John Barrowman and Burn Gorman so Torchwood was a dream come true for me! I'm 15 from the South East of England. I like a lot of different things, ranging from Dancing to Torchwood. Anyhow.
I love the Owen and Gwen ship ...and i am interested to see where the Jack/Ianto ship goes!
Katzy biggrin
