Hello and welcome to 'Operation Fresh Start' my pro Cloud and Jessie where you can discuss anything and everything about Cloud and Jessie’s cute but short lived romantic possibilities.
Your probably wondering why I would make this thread considering that there are almost no fanfictions, fanart, AMV’s, or websites on the couple. Well, this thread is based on the possibility of “What if Jessie had lived.”
When I first started playing the game I thought that Jessie was going to be Cloud’s love interest, because he seemed to talk and be nicest to her and because you keep getting options to flirt with her if you want.
I think if Jessie would have survived the plate collapse they just might have ended up with each other. It would also have given the player a good third possibility for Cloud’s love interest. (No offence Cloffie fans. They look cute together but I don’t really consider Yuffie much of a third choice). Lot’s of Cleris say that Tifa is too depressive and boring to be a good match with Cloud, and lots of Clotif’s say that Aeris is too Marry Sue and sluty to be with Cloud (Yes me included), but if Jessie had survived almost everyone would have had the best of both worlds. Jessis was optimistic like Aeris but not enough to make her Marry Sue looking, and a good fighter like Tifa, although maybe not as good as her. Not to mention that she was also extremely smart with machines and really pretty to boot. Jessie just seems like the perfect medium between Aeris and Tifa and I think Cloud would have benefited from being with her a lot.
Anyway those are my thoughts and opinions on the Clessie couple. I know very well that this thread will most likely die because of that fact that, one, Jessie wasn’t in the game long enough to make a decent judgment on her relation ship with Cloud, and two, because theirs not enough fic’s, fanart, and other media on them to post here, due to the first reason. But I just had to try because I really do like this paring.:WARNING!:
This is for Clotif’s and Cleires. If you don’t support this couple then I suggest you leave here right now. I DO NOT want to see posts like this “Oh it’s a very interesting idea but I like Cleris/Clotif better.” or “This couple could never work because…” or “This couple is stupid! I hate it! Cleris/Clotif forever!” If you post s**t like that in my thread I will report your a**’s to strawberryicecream IMMEDIATELY! [one thing I have to say as always aerith is not a slut DI actually also like this couple heart when I first played I thought that she would be the love interest but at first I wasnt sure if she was a guy or a girl sweatdrop [sorry jessie!]
I do agree that it would be cute and I would've liked to see the fullest of this couple

D; Yeah I figuer if there are fianfictions of Aeris and or Zack coming back to life then why not Jessie. I place Jessie with Red 13 and the rest of the old Avalanche members as unjustly underrated and underappreciated characters. People just don't seem to care about them as much as the other characters. It's truly sad. sad

Well, I wouldn't say there would be NO Cloti/Cleris had the chance to blossom. Probably be a three way war with few mediums...
Anyway, I never really thought about this couple. But now that you mention it, there is a mutual trust between the two that is rarely seen with either Tifa or Aeris. But, I just got this thought in mind with every scenerio I play through my head.
Biggs. Weren't Jessie and Biggs lovers in the past? I dunno. It's just that the thought of Jessie living would make it so that maybe Biggs and Wedge would have survived. Had Biggs seen this and saw his ex getting with another guy, who is not only his partner but one of his friends, I think there'd be a great animosity from Biggs towards Cloud. Then he'd try and win his woman back, like a Romantic Teen Movie scenerio.
Nonetheless, it's a very interesting coupling. Hell, ironically enough not as many followers of this as there are Aeriseph, not out of hatred but that CloTi and Cleris are more popular than this thought because Jessie is thought of as only a minor character. The three died, but the only to be remembered was the fourth death of Aeris. Sad, truly is...
Might have supported this couple along with CloTi and Cleris had she lived, shoot....

However, once their ex gets a partner, and they don't, they get a bit jealous of their ex and his/her replacement. If this were the case, seeing Biggs already has a somewhat angry disposition and drinks, he could very well get mad at Cloud if he were to go with Jessie and try and win her back, so to speak. Trust me, it happens... Like when I broke up with Steph she said nothing to me, but once I got with Amanda she got PISSED off at me and her. Then Amanda dumped and Steph helped pick up the pieces and got me to gain the courage to ask Melina out. Not an exact scenerio, but, it's pretty close...

Im sure having a romantic relationship wouldn't get in the way of their work since there practily with eachother all the time. Well, just look a Zack and Aeris in 'The Maiden Who Traveled the Plaint.' Aeris kept telling him "I love Cloud and not you" and Zack didn't seem to have any anger or animosity toward his friend. Not to mention that I don't see Biggs getting on Cloud or Jessie's case when Cloud has the opportunity to flirt with her. Not hating on you or anything Jhay-R but you don't really seem to like this couple all that much. So not trying to be rude or anything but if your not really a fan then this really isn't the place for you.
