A grey, black, and white dappled stallion strotted happily as he just found out very great news. He, Cualtzin, was now a expecting father. His mate told him the night before. She was soundly asleep in her two-legger's teepee. He decided it was time for him to go for a stroll.He had a huge grin on his face. This was the happiest day ever.

In the middle of lots of grass, and a few flowers, a tan mare stood, looking crosseyed at a butterfly on her nose. She was smiling and giggling a bit at the funny feelign of the butterfly's feet on her nose. She herself had wings liek the butterflys, but on a much larger scale. And then it happened. She sneesed, causeign the cute little bug to fly off. "aww." she let out a little sigh and looked about for anyone else to talk to.

Hearing a slightly disappointed noise, Cualtzin stopped. How could anyone be disappointed today? He would have to fix that. Everyone had to be happy on this day. Well, ok, not everyone. He looked around, his curly mane bouncing as he turned his head slightly too fast. Flowers clinging to dear life.
He spotted a tan mare. At first he didn't know who she was, but then he remembered Jeevita talking about her. Naly or Nalli or Nalani. He didn't know what her name was. Though, he did know that was her adoptive daughter.
He trotted closer. Tilting his head. "Hello." He said trying not to startle the mare. He looked at her tail. Wow! It was much like Viscoso's! Though it had stripes. "Wow! Neat tail!" Quickly he went from her tail to her wings. He knew she was an alicorn, but those wings were nothing like Jeevita's. He'd only seen one other soquili with wings like that.
"Oh! You have wings like a butterful! I've only seen one soquili with those. Though, your's looks alot different!" He awwed at her for a moment. A huge grin on her face.

Nalani turned, slightly surprised. "Oh, Hello! Why thank you. I don't belive i've met you before. I'm Nalani. What might your name be?" Nalani inquired happily. She smiled at the mostly black and gray stallion. "Wow, you have such beautiful flowers in your hair!" she commented, stareing at them admiringly.

He beamed. So he did know her name. "Oh! I know you, though, never met you before. My friend is your adoptive mother. Jeevita." He said then shook his head. "OH! Sorry, I'm Cualtzin!" He grined hugely.
Stepping a little closer, now about ten feet from her now. "Oh! Thank you. My mate loves them aswell. One reason I have them in there." He stomped his feet lightly on the ground. Dust flying light in the air.

"Oh really? well then i guess we have met, jsut not in person." She smiled. "its a pleasure to meet you Cualtzin." She smiled kindly. "oh thats so sweet. I cna tell you care for hr a great deal!" she giggled lightly.

He nodded much like a proud kid. "She's going to have little ones! I'm going to be a father!" he was more then excited. He could relate better to foals then Mares or Stallions. He had a huge grin on his face.
"How's you and Apple?" He asked. Him and Apple were ok friends, and he heard something like those two were together, or at least he liked her alot. He had no clue they were mates.

"Oh really? congratulaions! You certainly seem like you will be great with little ones." Nalani just couldn't help but smile. This stallion was one of those horses that no matter how upset you were, just talking to them would make you feel better. "Me and Apple are doign wonderful, thank you so much for asking."

"Thank you! " He did a spin rear thing. He couldn't wait until they were born, or until Tally got a little bigger. A few seconds later he was back where he was before the spin. His curls in his face. The silly grin still on his face. Shaking his head he nodded.
"OH! That's great. He's really a great guy." He said in responce.

"So, what would you be doing on such a day? talking a relaxing stroll perhaps like i am?" Nalani asked. A breeze blew thru, causing some of her mane to tickle her nose until she sneezed. "oh, excuse me!"

He gave a slight nod. Not really a relaxed stroll. "Well, mostly because I needed to get out and calm down. I didn't want to wake my mate" He said honestly.
"God bless you." He added as she sneezed. It was almost that time of the year where everyone got sick, he hoped she wasn't getting sick.

"Oh i see. so considarite of her. thats so cute!" Nalani really thought that was so adorable how Cualtzin talked of his mate and of his soon to come children. "and thank you." she said, remarking to bless you.

" I don't think she should get up that much. I don't want her to hurt herself. But her two-legger is helping her out alot. " He sounded a little worried, but knew she'd be ok. He smiled at Nalani.
She was really nice. Which was great, since Jeevita raised her, he wasn't really surprised about that. " I'm sure, you and Apple will be like this soon."

"I'm sure she will be fine, after all, she has such a loving stallion lookign after her." Nalani giggled lightly. Her smiled droped for a split second but then returned. "Yes...I hope so..." she said. "Oh but i wouldn't want Apple to worry about me to much....worrying can be vary bad for your health you know." she nodded a bit matter of factly.

He smiled. "Only if it turns into stress. It's natural to worry. Expecially when you care about the person." One of his more serious moments. It was surprising on what he said when he was serious. He looked down at the ground. He was greatful that Tally was in good hands.
