Shayna was taking a note from her mothers book and taking the afternoon to go christmas shopping. She pulled on her winter coat and wrapped a rainbow coloured scarf around her neck before hurrying out the door.
She was wandering around the town rather aimlessly making her list up as she went. Perhaps a new hair clip for Taka? She scanned the surrounding buildings for a promising stores.

Kemuri was out in the town where he once had never been to. Lily told him to 'shop'... he despised shopping. he yanked out a page with a list of things.
'ugh, why must she make me do this? oh well, it's fun anyways.' he walked down the street as he saw Shayna. he felt a blast of wind from one direction. he pulled on a jacket Lily gave him to wear until he got one of his own.
he waved from wehre he was to Shayna.

((XD Poor Jade, she's not a city person))
Having no one to buy presents for other than Nikolai, Jade made sure to buy a nice Thanksgiving dinner for him. Between the two of them there wouldn't be a large banquet, but if her little angel was able to sit up straight in his chair at the dinner table then perhaps he could finish a meal with her. If not, then a breakfast tray and a tv tray would be their miniture tables so they could eat in the bedroom.
But what on earth would the boy want as a gift? She was busy looking around at stores, and not paying attention as she walked headlong into the dark haired and raven winged man in front of her. "Oof!" She nearly fell onto her rear, straightening her coat as she quickly began to appologize. "E-excuse me, I'm so sorry, I-I....." the sentance died as it escaped her, staring in a very impolite manner at the man's wings in utter shock.

"oh, i'm sorry, i should have watched around me. no need to appologize..." he said in a charmed tone. he smiled as he continued babbling on. "don't beleive we've met, what's your name?" he asked the lady who seemed to be staring at his wings. he was used to it... he just nodded as he watched her stare. it was sort of fun for Kemuri because he hadn't met most of the older teenagers or guardians other than the ones he had met already. well duh, if you haven't met them, you haven't met them...

His mouth was moving, but words weren't registering in the woman's mind. Looking from the man's massive wings to his face, the woman couldn't help but feel intimidated by someone who could probably knock her down with those wings without much trouble if he wanted to. "I-I'm sorry, what?" With a small flurry of batting eyelashes, Jade came back to her senses. "My name? It-it's Jade... Who're you?" Was this man a Herald-one of those odd angels- that Owle had told her about?

"Kemuri. nice to meet you Jade." he smiles in charisma as he finished. he felt nervous, did she know about him being a 'kidnapper' from some months ago, or was she not a guardian. was she one of the 'new' gaurdians he's heard so less about? well, what ever she was, he still felt nervous.
"are you alright? you seem to space out a bit." he said in concern.

Shayna smiled as she spotted Kemuri. She practically ran over as he was speaking to the stranger and wrapped her arms around his waist. Shayna wasan affectionate girl after all. After a quick hug she let him go and waited for a break in the conversation before voicing her greeting. "Hello you!" She nodded at Jade, "Hello to you as well...I'm Shayna!"

Spaced out? The woman looked insulted, frowning slightly as she looked at the man. Before she could give him a piece of her mind, a very overzealous girl happened along. "Oh!" Dear Lord, they were popping out of the woodwork around here! "You both certainly gave me a fright... Are you two both Heralds I've heard so much about?" She questioned. Leave them thinking her ignorant of their kind for now- that would be best. For all she knew, one the size of Kemuri could very well want to take back Nikolai to where he came from.

Kemuri was startled by the hug, but he accepted it with a smile. he gave Shayna a small kiss on the cheek as he heard Jade say that one word that makes him different than other normal humans.
he was a bit scared when she mentioned 'heralds'. he got really touchy on that topic. he smiled to try cover the tracks of nervousness that were written all over his face. ""um... yeah, we're heralds" he finally spit out. he swallowed hard.

Shayna smiled and Jade and nodded in agreement with Kemuri's words. "I'm sorry if I startled you, I suppose I'm used to most people knowing what we are. Does that mean you don't care for a herald yourself?" She grinned in a friendly manner and shoved her hands in her pockets. It was cold out and she'd forgotten her mittens at home.

"I've met a few... A little girl named Miyon and a boy named Rand." Jade didn't want to admit anything yet, she was still nervous around the pair. "What about you two? I guess you don't have people to look after you any more, huh?" In the woman's imagination she had the idea that both of the pair before her no longer stayed with people, perhaps even living wherever Nikolai had fallen from.
