Several people have stated that they would like a dragon drawing tutorial, and several more have asked them from me specifically - both at school and online. I think it is one thing I have gotten quite good at, so I would really love to help others draw them.
I'm much better at stawing Western dragons than Eastern, but I can give it a go at both.
I just need to ask, what parts of the dragon would people find most helpful? I obviously can't cover everything in one tutorial.
So I would like you all to tell me what parts you find hardest? Talons? Muscel structure? The head? Wings? Making them manga-style? I'm not sure if everyone really needs everything, and I need to know what order you would all like things to come up. ^_^
I don't have any samples right now, but if you want I can post up a sample of how I do tomorrow ^_^;
I don't pretend I'm an expert, but I do hope to provide some help if I can <3.

Just to add, I'm willing to talk to anyone who would like personal help on these, even after I make the tutorial.
And I do realise there are already dragon tutorials out there, and much better than I can probably do XD... I want to do one myself, as I can help people personally, and add to the tutorial as people need me to. <3

Okay, so if I did an over-all body tutorial , then went into detail on wings, then legs etc. in the next one, would that work for all of you? Let me know, or if you would prefer me to add more to a certain topic. ^^

Omg...the Talons are a pain in the butt for me to draw...Ditto with attempting to add the finer details like the Muscel structure.
I think having two tutorials on how to draw a detaled dragon is a great idea.

Talons are pretty easy for me, I could do that fairly quickly, suring the muscel structure tutorial ^^
So, I was thinking that the best place to start would probably be an over-view, then maybe a head, then body structure, then the wings, spikes details etc. then do a quick one of dragon-like poses. Okay? ^^

Oh wow a dragon tutorial. Cool. I love dragons. In most of the Drawlings I make at home I have a dragon in it. I also have a main dragon that I always use. I'm glad I found this place.

I'm somewhat familiar with dragon drawing (Thank you NeonDragon and her online tutorials + books).
Truthfully, I'd like to see how to actually compose a dragon. NeonDragon's books were nifty, but they failed to tell me how to make a dragon the way I want it to be posed.

Okay, so you're saying a tutorial on how to pose your dragon to make them more primal and dragon like would work best for you? ^^
Are there any poses in particular you want me to go over, or is it just poses in general at first? ^_^

heheh interesting i could probably use some the aid in this subject... i can do a general dragon like beast, however they often fail to meet the expectations put on them... (aka they bite...) i can do wings however bite at body structure and the heads of my dragons vary between borderline horrific and semi decent sweatdrop

;head for the hills; I've never really understood the shape of the main body ^^; I think wings would be a really good tutorial though :33
