-For weeks after the birth they'd rested at the neverending waters. Learning and experiencing the joys and responsibilities and falling into the comforts of being new parents. Even without moving around everyday held a new joy and sight to the candy colored cheetah.

The openning of her baby's eyes, the change from creeping and crawling to full on romping and running around. How quickly she grew, her little paws nearly the size of her mother's by now, and that tiny little tummy, growing with each meal, as she slowly weaned from mother's milk to tastey sea treats.

Watching Zimwi with Hidaya only strengthed the feelings she had for him too. A soft bustling of pride and love bubbling up within her each time she rest and watch them play together on the sands.

But as her body began to grow strong once again, that soft and familar tug began to pull at her, beckoning her away. And while she fought it for awhile, the time finally came when she had to tell Zimwi. It was time for the family's first trip.

Yawning widely Shairi pulled herself upwards, giving a soft shake before she checked for the sleeping figures about her. Full tummies, a nice long night's sleep. They were ready to go once more.

Purring rippling through her, she called out softly, as she nuzzle her check against her mate's.- "Morrrrrning"

The large male shared his equal share of joy ever since the birth of their young Hidaya.

Everytime he watched her grow, it put a proud smile upon his face, she would grow up to be as beautiful as her mother one day.
And playing games with his growing babe was endless ammounts of fun.

He truly felt like the luckiest male in the world, to have a wonderful mate and child like he did.

However as morning approached, he gave a semi confused grumble before the feel of a warm cheek against his brought out a much happier sound and his vibrant green eye's looked upon his mate.
A happy smile creeping upon his muzzle.

"Good morning Shairi, sleep well?" He asked as he nuzzled back against her.

Their child however, like all children, chose to continue sleeping.
A baby needed sleep, however, she was no baby anymore. Even if she was still her parents baby.

As her father spoke she groggily woke up and looked around, before giving out a small yawn and turning to look at her parents.

"Ahh...morning mama...morning papa..."

"I did" -She nodded softly to her mate's question, offering another soft nuzzle before her eyes turned towards their little bundle of love.- "Morning"

-Tail twitching softly, she padded the step necessary to brace the distance, letting her tongue run affectionately over the little hybrid's head as she waited for her to wake up more fully.- "Ready for a little adventure Hidaya?"

Z'J smiled at the affectionate mother and his loving mate before glancing at his daughter and giving a loud rumbling purr.
He loved his little ball of moonshine.

The little hybrid, was quite content as her beautiful mother ran her tongue over her head.
In return, she gave a sweet mannered chirp for the affection given to her before she listened to the words her mum spoke.
...
The word 'adventure' stood out quite prominantly.
And she almost jumped to her paws immediatly.

"Yeah mommy! I am!"

He knew it.
A smirk braced over his maw before he stepped out of the den first and shook his huge mane, giving a loud yawn as he looked around and waited for the two to come out.

"Wonderful" -The word drug out in a soft melodic purr before she motioned for the little one to follow after her father, taking up the tail end for the moment, to make sure she seemed awake enough, full enough, and all those other little things that mothers worried about.

Once they were outside they'd probably let Hidaya lead, simply so they could keep an eye on her until she tuckered out. But for the moment Shairi trailed happily behind, watching the two figures she loved the most lead on before her, as her voice drifted softly.- "Today you'll get to see lots of wonderful things that you've never seen before. Though we probably won't get to see the neverending waters for awhile. So if you'd like to go tell them goodbye, we can do that Hidaya"

((;.; Sorry Iris >.<))

The little female paused, they where...leaving?
Permanently?
Daddy had told her this day may have come, but, she was still a little shocked and upset.
However, after a moment thinking, she shook her head at her mother.

"It's ok mama, I'll see them again some day!" She said cheerily, ahh, such the optimist, just like her mother.

Z'J meanwhile followed alongside the cheetah, purring happily as he watched his little girl frolic ahead of them.
He did love his family so much.
And he thanked the God's he had met Shairi that faithful day, though, he wasn't happy she'd gotten hurt in the process.
That was the only downside.

-She fretted momentarily that their daughter would protest. Hidaya loved the waters so, and it didn't surprise the cheetahess. It was the only place she'd seen, her home. But hopefully she'd grow to love traveling, and fall in love with the home that the odd couple carried along with them.

Smiling widely when the words finally sounded from their young one, Shairi brushed herself affectionately against her mate, before stepping ahead to reach her daughter, letting her pink tongue ruffle the candy coat she'd inherited.- "I know we shall see it again too sweetheart."

"Would you like to lead our exploration?" -She motioned softly towards the hill, the area far in the horizon where grass slowly began to poke up from the sand. No long was it off limits to the cub. Oh no, nearly the whole world was her tromping ground now.-

There was a fond chuckle from Z'J as he nuzzled back against the side that had brushed him, smiling at her as he watched the cheetahess talk with her daughter.
A deep, relaxed inhale making his chest look bigger as he took in the last breath of salty ocean air they'd have for a while.
All this as he followed his two main girls.

As she felt her mothers tongue brush against her head, the cub had to giggle sweetly up at her before nuzzling against her mothers cheek.
She loved her mommy and daddy, mommy was the most beautiful mommy in the world!
And daddy was soooooooooo big!

But as Shairi asked her if she'd like to lead, a spring had entered her step and she nodded.
"Uh huh! Uh huh!" She squeaked excitedly before toddling towards the hill.

Zimwi' meanwhile moved beside his mate and smiled at her.
"Any idea where you'd like to go?" He asked softly.

-Shairi fell in step alongside her mate as their young sprung ahead, tiny little legs and big ol paws carrying her just far enough ahead to let her feel independent. But close enough that, should trouble beckon, either her or Zimwi would be able to be beside her in a few strides.-

"Hmmmmm..." -Her voice drew in it's soft melodic way, a content sigh slipping from her.- "I think we should let her lead for awhile.. but eventually I'd like to take her to the southlands.. If we could find my parents..." -She paused softly, that hopeful smile touching her as she thought about them seeing the beautiful things she'd created.-
"I also have a friend there I'd like her to meet. Do you have anyone.. you'd like to visit?"

The large male listened to his mate and smiled softly.
The Southlands?
Well, speak of the devil.
As memory served that was near the Pridelands...wasn't it?
But he that off as his mind began to wander.

He then looked to Shairi and shook his head at her question.

"No, I don't know nobody there...I have been there, just never got to know anybody." He said casually, before his eye's trailed off to watch his daughter.

The little scamp was playing with the long blades of grass at the top of the hill while waiting for her parents.
Not caring for the adult chit-chat for at her age, it meant nothing.

"Well that's fine. Noone I have to share you with." -She teased playfully, always one to find the brightside of things."

-Rubbing gently against his side, she motioned for them to move once more, eyes already having seen her little one up on the hill.- "The hills and grasses of the southland aren't so severe, so it's the best place to start I think. She won't tire so quickly, nor will it be too hard to keep an eye on her."

"So off we go." -She smiled, her voice coming out in a soft hum.-

The large lion simply smiled at his mate's optimism and followed after her, green eye's following her form and the form of his tiny daughter as they started their journey to the Southlands.
Giving one last glance at the ever magnificent ocean before he stretched and shook his large fluffy mane.
He'd miss this place...but they'd come back some day.

As her parent's spoke, Hidaya turned and watched them from the grass on the hill, before she smiled happily.
Seeing her beautiful mother approach, she trotted towards the adult cheetah before nuzzling against her leg lovingly.

-She took his silence and movement as answer to her decision, silently deciding to let him choose the next destination when the time came. But for now she simply moved close to his side, using her longer legs to help keep up with his lion strides.

Purring with soft affection Hidaya recieved a gentle nuzzle, and hint of a lick to the top of her head, before the cheetahess smiled brightly.- "Which way are we to go then darling?" -No matter which way the cub choose, they'd eventually make it to the southlands, so why not give her a little fun and importance? Perhaps one day she'd be a great traveler as well?-

The little hybrid, the symbol of her parents love, just smiled so happily.
That smile that showed the innocence and naiveity of youth every child was prone to as she looked up at her mother lovingly.
She then put on a determined little face before looking out over the horizon before looking back at her parents.

"That way!" She exclaimed, lifting her paw to the West. "The day circle vanishes over there every time it goes dark! I'm gonna go and catch it!"

Ahhh, the sweet innocence of youth.

It was this innocence that made Zimwi' smile so, he'd never had a childhood like Hidaya's.
His beautiful daughter was very lucky and he would make sure she was never hurt or have to go through what he'd been through in his life before he met Shairi.
He then chuckled softly before trotting over to his daughter and gently nudging her side with his large muzzle.

"Then let's go, we have a full day before that 'day circle' lands." He said playfully, winking to his mate as Hidaya looked out happily onto the lands beyond her birthplace.
