Anybody know what's up with the 1.5 minute silence in the beginning of track 14 of The Black Parade, Blood? I don't get it, and I'd like to know why.

They're all right. But, why make it so hidden. A smaller gap would have been better. everytime it plays on my Xbox, I think that the sound has died. That's not good.

What everyone above said. It's a hidden track so you're supposed to think it's not there hence why it has a really long silence at the beginning of it.

Hidden songs are just like that.
She Wants Revenge actually put around 77 tracks, each about one second long, on thier CD for the hidden track.
The hidden track is track 77 or so.
After the 'last' song, your stereo slowly starts counting up each track.
It looks really creepy if you're playing it on a stereo, because it just keeps counting up, and up, and up....
The effect isn't the same if you put it in a computer.

It sticks it to the people who say the band don't have a sense of humour. It just goes to prove you can be death obsessed and miserbalist and have a laugh while doing it.

Ahhh that's what I've been wondering...
Then why do some bands have "hidden" ones and others just have bonus tracks? I mean, I know The Used have a hidden track attached to Pieces Mended (awesome song btw) but I was listening to Aerials (SOAD) and it had like 2 or 3 more minutes of nothing but really creepy instrumentals.

I have a CD where it takes a whole twenty mintues to get to the last song. It's nuts. xp
I also have multiple CD's where it skips a number and goes from like five to seven. With nothing in the middle.
