Randee stood outside her home, looking down at the ground below as she thought. She thought about her life, where she went wrong. Oh, its all her fault afterall. Everything that had happened has been her fault. Disowning Sgina, oh, that was the single worst decision she had ever made in her life. If only she had known what would happen as a result of what she had done. If only there was someway to make things right...

Victor ran far ahead of his mother whom was not trying all that hard to catch up. He fluttered his wings that were almost ready for him to start to learn to fly. Galloping along the mountain's range he smiled never having been this way before. His head turned in many directions till by chance he looked up abit. He spotted a stripped mare that in same way reminded him of his mother. Victor tilted his head and watched the mare for a moment.
"That's weird, why does that mare remind me of my mother...." Victor said not really caring is the zebra mare heard him or not.

Sgina sighed abit as she followed Victors's scent. It was not till she lifted her head did she know where she was.
"Just great, as big as this land is he has to explore here.....If Im lucky they moved from here by now." Sgina mummbled with a slight underlying growl emitted as she spoke. She picked up the pace abit in an attemp to hurry Victor out of this area.

Randee heard the sound of a grumbling voice near by. Randee turned her head up to see a young foal that seemed to be looking at her. Randee smiled a weak unenthusiastic smile.

"Hello," she said softly. Through all of her depression, Randee always felt an obligation to be relatively happy when around a young foal. She felt that it would give them happiness, give them hope that when they are an adult they will be happy. Oh, if only Randee could truly believe that.

Behind the foal, a little further in the distance was a mare chasing after the foal. most likely the foal's mother. She looked quite familiar, but Randee couldn't remember exactly where she met the foal. As Randee squinted her eyes to gain better focus, Randee then realized who it may be. Sgina? No, Sgina couldn't be a mother. Could she?
PostPosted: Tue Nov 21, 2006 8:34 pm

"Hi....you dont seem to happy.... dont smile on my account its best you keep true to yourself. Besides Im not a foolish foal. I know not everything is sunshine and daisies. This world would be boring if it was, Im right about this ya know. Im right about everything." Victor said with a proud voice fluttering his wings.

Sgina knew her son had found someone to talk to, but she had yet to see who it was. Grumbling she went forwards to drag her foal away.

"Hey Momma, look it, this strange mare kinda reminds me of you." Victor turned towards his mother as she came closer of course he had no idea that was his Grandmother he had been speaking too.

Sgina's eyes wandered up into a quick glance to whom ever he was spaking too. Mainly to humor him more then anything.
"Come on now, leave the mare ............." Sgina's eyes widened as the image of Randee had caught up with her mind. Slowly she tilted her head upwards to stare blankly at Randee for a moment as if to confirm that is wasnt just a dream or something. Once she was sure Sgina looked back to Victor a more stern look replaced her grumpy one.
"Victor, its time to go, now." Sgina barked this slightly before turning to walk in the direction she had come.

Victor looked abit shocked by his mother's reaction. He gave one more glance to Randee before following his mother looking abit put out. "Umm bye mare that reminds me of my momma."

"Wait!" said Randee, taking a step after the the foal and the mare. "Sgina, is that you? Sgina? Please!"
Randee took a few steps closer after the two. Yes, indeed it was Sgina. And that must be her son, which would mean...Randee is a grandma!
"I've been hoping I'd see you again," said Randee, hoping that Sgina would still listen to her. "Sgina, I'm sorry. I need...I need you to forgive me Sgina!"
PostPosted: Tue Nov 21, 2006 9:04 pm

Victor stopped and turned round to look at Randee.
"How do you know my mother's name, mare?"

Sgina stopped though she didnt not reply just yet. She was fighting herself on what her reaction would be, she just wanted to keep walking but when Randee apologized it tugged at the part of Sgina Rahu and having foals had helped Sgina uncover.
"......Victor.......she knows my name, because ......she is my mother..your grandmother...

Victor got big eyed and waggled his tail.
"I didnt know Rahu had a mate."

"No, Victor....she is my real mother, not Rahu's mate. Your real Grandmother." Sgina glanced over her shoulder slightly to look at Randee.

"Oooh...I dont get it." Victor said, yet he shrugged it off before trotting around Randee to check her out.

Sgina was still not sure how to reply to Randee. She didnt want to forgive her but she couldnt just leave now that she had been caught. Looking away from Randee again she spoke.
"I needed alot of things from you and you never provided them, tell me why I should be any different?"

"What have I never given to you, Sgina? I always tried my hardest to make you happy," said Randee. "You were very difficult for me to manage. I was so young, a new mother. I had three foals, each who gave me their own trouble. It was difficult for me to manage. I regret every letting you walk away. I regret not chasing after you. I regret that we didn't reunite sooner. I need you to forgive me Sgina, please."
Tears began to roll down Randee's cheeks as she spoke with her daughter.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 21, 2006 9:33 pm

"You you you, that was always your problem." Sgina turned to face face Randee now and didnt seem to bothered that she was crying. "Maybe I wouldnt have been as bad if you treated me differently.
Dad has his little boy and you with your little secret...how was I supposed to feel? You tried Ill give you that, but how is it a stallion I hardly knew was able to calm me and you werent? Because he tried in a different way, admit it you never really tried to figure out what was wrong with me. You were to busy thinking, how could my daughter turn out this way, why does she treat me this way? Your selfish and always have been. And now this you need me to forgive you? It hardly sounds like you care what I feel, it only sounds like you want me to forgive you to make you feel better."
Sgina stomped her hoof abit saying these things to her finally felt better than Sgina could have ever thought.

Victor eyed his mother then looked to Randee before skittering under Sgina and placing himself between her front legs.

"Sgina, sweetheart, you did not give me a chance to figure you out," said Randee. "Whenever I tried to bond with you, tried to communicate with you, you would seem to shut me down. It hurt me so badly, I couldn't bare it. You allowed the stallion, Rahu, to bond with you. You were open with Rahu, unlike you were with me. I did try my hardest. I only ask for your forgiveness to help exculpate me, release me from the guilt. I have apologized and there isn't a moment that goes by in my life where I do not regret the decisions that I have made. I only hope that you can forgive me, my love. Please."
Randee cried even harder as the tears rolled down her cheeks faster.
PostPosted: Wed Nov 29, 2006 4:37 pm

"I did not allow Rahu to bond with me. He beat sense into me like I needed. That so called tree I ran into and broke my wing on? That was Rahu, understand I hate to admit it but I needed that. I needed something to make me respect you, your weak and whinny and you are only thinking of yourself. To release you from your guilt to help you. What about me? What will it do for me? Nothing that's what. You gave up on me just when I was starting to get use to my stupid sister and maybe even the whole family. I was laughed at that day many times and nothing you can say will ever make up for that." Suddenly Sgina felt Victor twiching his wings beneath her. She looked down at him and raised a questioning brow.

Victor looked up at his mother and smiled slightly even though he was abit afraid and confused by all of this. He wondered when they would go home he was getting abit tired of this.

Family was important to Victor for some reason. Even though his brother and sister were rotten to him and sometimes he seemed not the have a great bond with his father Vudeux. He loved Rahu alot was it fair to keep him from more family over something in the past that Randee was now trying to fix. Sgina's ear flattened as she thought for abit. Finally Sgina looked up at Randee her angry glare replaced with a confused look or bitter feeling.
"As hard as it is to swallow my pride, Ill forgive you...with a condition though, you have to be here for Victor. He likes the idea of a big family though Ive never understood why." Sgina felt diffent for a moment like a real mother, instead of just being a caretaker for the foals. Sgina nipped at Victor abit not really the nuzzling type.

Someone else had been watching all of this. A more healthy Unesdala ale Vtsi watched from the tree line. He smiled atleast part of the family was back together but how much longer shall he have to wait till Randee forgave him. Or did she ever really care for him like he had thought her too. He stayed hidden behind the trees not sure he wanted to be seen. He missed his family so much and yet the way Randee had acted left a bitter feeling in Unesdala thoughts.

Randee smiled at Sgina, her precious beloved daughter.
"I love you Sgina," said Randee. "And I don't know if you love me in return, but I hope that in time you will learn to love me as much as I love you."
One last tear of sadness dropped off Randee's cheek as a few tears of joy and happiness began to form and roll. As for Rahu hurting Sgina, well, that certainly changed Randee's opinion of him, but none of that mattered at the moment.
Randee turned to her grandson. Grandson? Randee suddenly felt abnormally old, which almost made her a bit upset, but the thought of having the family reunited and expand only put a wider smile on Randee's face.
"So your name is Victor?" asked Randee to her young grandson. "That is such a handsome name. Have you met your grandfather? I haven't seen him for quite some time, I'm getting worried. We were in a small fight, I just hoped that he would have returned home."
Randee looked down nervously, hoping that Sgina may have seen Unesdala.
PostPosted: Wed Nov 29, 2006 10:37 pm

"You have to understand its still to early for me to say something like that. Im not sure if Ive ever said it to anyone other than my foals....I have three, Victor here and Vuja and Deja whom are with their father Vudeux right now. No Ive not seen Unesdala sence before you disowned me....though of late he had been in my thougts like he was hurt or something, but recently I have had no thoughts of him." Sgina still seemed very bitter and looked as though she was bitting her lip to continue to act calm to give Randee a chance.

Victor shook his tail and came out from under his mother. Indeed he did love the idea of a big family, a huge famliy was his grandest wish.
"Yes, I know my name is the best of all the names and I was the only one named by my mother so my name is therefore better then my siblings. No like mommy says I havent met him but I bet he is blue!! Im right arent I cause Im right all the time. Cause you dont have any blue therefore he must have blue...right? Of course right." Victor raised a brow obviously questioning himself.

Unesdala heard Randee speak of him but he didnt come fowards. He was abit stubborn in this, she had been the one to ask for time away so she should be the one to come tell him she was ready to talk again. He had waited awhile in the cave, but had given up and gone to stay with Kanati whom had started a family of his own. He almost has not made it to Kanati's though. His broken heart and sickness of his own making had cause him to collapse. A mare had helped him get back on his feet. It was then that he had found his was to Kanati.
Unesdala sighed abit and turned to head towards Kanati's teepee.

"What kinda fight did you have. I remeber Unesdala being to much of a goof ball to fight anyone even verbaly." Sgina said raising a brow abit curious as to what had happened.

With the snap of a twig on the ground another that had been watching this unfold revealed himself to the group. A well groomed and slightly fat familiar looking ferret came around the corner of a rock near by. Bongo thought this was the right time to come back to his family. He had been spending time with an elderly basket marker that lived just a short way from the kawani village. He had seen many births and had carried the baskets for most of them personaly, but as nice as the old lady treated him he was bored and missed a companion he could talk to.
"Hi Randee.....you've grown Sgina....I happen to know where Unesdala is normaly..." It was obvious he was no longer used to being his loud mouth self anymore.

Randee thought for a moment. Looking back at it, she could hardly remember what the arguement with Unesdala was all about. It all seemed so silly, it was quite embarassing to Randee. Randee looked down, a bit ashamed.
"I don't really remember what started the fight," said Randee. Her conversation with Sgina was put to a halt as a familiar old friend came out. "Bongo! Oh, it has been so long! How have you been? Where is Unesdala? Oh, I have so many questions to ask of you!"
Randee smiled happily at Bongo.

Sgina simply eyed the ferret not sure what to say at the moment. She felt like going home but something kept her there despite her feelings.

Victor stared wide eyed at the creature only having seen soquili and birds till now. "Momma momma momma." Victor whispered to low for Sgina to hear he wanted to ask what it was without calling it to everyone's attention.

Bongo smiled abit and pulled his little chubby butt on top of the rock beside him. He slipped slightly due to bigging out of shape.
"Ive been good as you can tell." Bongo raised up on his hind legs and patted his belly." Ive been living with an elderly two legger that makes baskets for soquili foals. Ive been helping her out bad back and all and in return she grooms and feeds me. Unesdala has been at Kanati's teepee for a long time now......he doesnt talk much it seems. He plays with the foals abit and anwsers there questions etc, but for the most part he sleeps, he just isnt the Unesdala he used to be.Word is he is to become an elder soon I always thought Kanati would be first but its not that way it seems. I saw him when I took the old lady's baskets there. Kanati has his own family now, three lovly unicorns. Two girls and a boy, one little girl is mighty shy though. How have you been?" Bongo waggled his tail abit a well fed ferret can be not but happy all the time.

"Not too well, unfortunately," said Randee, a bit upset. "But I hope that I will be able to move on and set things right. As this day progress, it seems as if all the pieces are falling place. Maybe things will be the way they should be after all. I just need to find Unesdala."
Randee looked at Bongo, hoping he would help guide her to Unesdala.
"Sgina, Victor, would you care to join us to see your father, or grandfather?" asked Randee with a warm smile.
