I saw the few second bit of it.
All it is was pancakes and booty shakin'.
So far, I like the original better....but hey, more more opportunity for a Patrick-featured music video?

I don't think Patrick will be featured, he only sings the chorus, and he's not a part of the band. Hell, I don't even think he's in the video.
Ariel Zero said that the new video will be available on a rerelease of ACASC with a DVD. "Cupid's Chokehold" will also be added to the album, since GCH has become really popular and it's being requested a lot. I think it's a new mix? I can't recall.

Yeah, but I mean, he was in the first video....so? Eh, I dunno.
It's not a whole new song. It's the original recording and whatever, I'm pretty sure, so...but it does seem likely that Patrick won't be a robot stalking the man who stole his prototype lover.

Why did they make a new version? I didn't see anything wrong with the other one. Maybe because it looked a bit violent with Travis trying to smash the gf's head in? LOL I dunno.

Quixotic Faye Apparently, since GCH is getting bigger, people are hearing/requesting "Cupid's Chokehold" a lot, and so it's had a surge in popularity lately. Also, they're reissuing ACASC with "Cupid's Chokehold" as an added bonus, but I think they remastered it or something. mad I effing hate it when that happens. And I don't particularly like "Cupid's Chokehold" either, it's kind of boring and uninspired. - From the GCH thread. It's debuting today on TRL. Which is weird, I had no idea they were popular enough to be on TRL.

Here it is. It's better than the robot. And it's the same mix as was in the last video too. I especially like the breakdown in the middle with the rest of the band, because of the old guys being hip. xd Patrick's in there for all of three seconds in the beginning. The kids (cupids?) getting crunk at the end is cute.

I actually like both of the versions, but I do prefer the original...

i like the first just because patrick turns all "woot!zombie!windowstalker" (horrible description. i know. but if you've seen it, you know what i mean)
and the fact that travis gets to lose via the word cat during scrabble.
but come on! who doesn't love the dancing boy?
and it is a different mix during the new video. not much different, though. they just added an echo to patrick's part, really.
and the fact that they added wejustfreestylin' to the new video was amazing.

So, anyone got the link to the other video? i personally love the video 18548545454 times more than the new one. via patrick, most likely. but it's stereotypical travie, really. he brushes his teeth, he eats pancakes. i really only think that they remade the video just to synchronize the word pancakes with the actual pancakes. everytime patrick comes on, i swoon. no lie.
