Nicole was near the Apple tree, staring off into the distance aimlessly, It had been forever sence she had seen Moki and she had mistaked a couple others for him, now she does not even bother. A long sigh was let out as she shimmered in the sunlight.
Her long curly purple mane was spread out and her flowers and feathers were carefully in place. She rolled over, her usual white coat, was somewhat dirty but, mostly clean, drifing her gaze from the trunk of the tree up to an apple, Nicole swelled inside with sadness.
Standing up and shaking off Nicole looked off into what way she would travel today. She kept still for a while her mind adrift from not wanting to leave just incase Moki came back to, wanting to leave and give up.

Moki gave a shiver. The weather was getting cold but even more his body was weary. He had been traveling for days on end, his mother had him running errands from days on end. His father, had become an elder and now there was even more work to be down with the herd.
Nikki...... Moki thoughts kept drifting as his eyes started to close. No, no he couldn't start falling asleep he had to keep moving. He wanted to see her again, it had been so long.
Tripping lightly on his feet he had gotten closer to the apple trees, his eyes no longer focused on the surrouding.
"Nikki? Are you here Nikki....."

Nicole's white coat glisened even though it didn't keep her warm, she tried surviving. her gaze drifted along the fields when her nickname was spoken.
Somewhat suprised Nicole stayed in place, Nobody called her Nikki anymore, besides... A gasp was let out before her magenta eye's swiftly turned to face Moki who looked like her was having trouble making it up. Her face seemed to change into horrified when she relized her was tired. Still missing him she ran full speed down towards him and trew her neck over his.
While panting and still suprised, "Where have you been!!!" she blurted out somewhat happy and somewhat upset. she closed her eyes and let her shoulder try and support him. It had been forever, it really had.

"Nikki..." His voice slightly hoarse. His dark brown eyes watched as he saw her, running towards her. Her face looked slightly worried but happy. That was all he wanted, to see her happy face again.
Nuzzling her happily while leaning aganist her warm body, he gave a small n** at her purple mane.
"I'm so sorry...so sorry Nikki...." his voiced rasped even more than earlier "I wanted to be here sooner, sooner, but mom needed me...and dad....he an elder now too....I've missed you so much..." he wanted to tell her everything that had happen but he would wait. Right now he was just happy to see her.

Nicole was still shocked as he felt his body her heart races. "Come on, we have to get up the hill so you can lay down" She smiled sweetly and nuzzled him and then nudges him a bit to walk.
A smile still acorr her face she spoke gently almost soothing. "it's ok, I understand. somewhat..." her voice trailed off agian, her family never prsured her...wait, nvm. What family. She sighed and threw her mane to the other side and then continued up the hill.

"Alright alright up the hill to rest than" Moki gave a playfull smile as he n** at her mane again before heading up the hill. Noticing the small flowers and feathers that danced in her mane. She had looked different some how, what had happen to her since he had been gone. Was everything alright with her as well.
"How... has everything been for you Nikki..."

"Ok" she replied before giving a playful n** back. Nicole noticed Moki was looking at her. He looked different too, "well you have earring" she teased playfully a bit. before giving him a nuzzle and stopping at the top of the hill under the apple tree.
"Me?" she questioned even though she knew it was directed towards her. "Everything has been fine." She trailed off a bit, she had not seen her sister in a while and well it was somewhat lonely without eaither of them.

Giving himself a small shake, he had forgotten about those earrings, as well as the bracelets on his legs. "Okay okay you have point there" he replied nuzzling her before deciding to lay down under the tree.
"Everything has been fine for you Nikki..... I'm happy..I was worried for a while there. I had been gone for so long, I didn't know if anything had happen to you, if things had changed for you or even if you where here or not..."

Nicole laughed a bit and nuzzled him. She layed next to him and stretched out her legs. floping her head back with her mane spread out.
She shook her head before replying "Yea, it's all been great besides for you being gone" she said and gave a playful pout the n** at his mane. "Me leave? Noooo" she replied gently and soothing "I would never leave knowing you weere somewhere" She smiled and the nuzzled him from where she lay.

Moki gave a chuckle "Well, I'm happy. I'll know I will always have someone here for waiting for me." That was reassuring, well his mother was always there, but it wasn't the same. Nuzzling her again "maybe you could come with me sometimes...that is if you don't mind traveling all over the place and meeting odd soquili."

Nicole laughed a bit and smiled. "Sounds like quite the adventure. I'm sure it would be fun!" she nudged him with her shoulder before rolling over and looking at him from upside down. "Although, i do need to meet more of your 'real' family. Like your sisters and father" She smiled having only met Cyrus once and for a short period of time.

"Oh it would be an adventure" he replied watching her roll over before he attempted nudge her shoulder.
"As for Cynara...and Cyrus... I don't know when you will meet them... the truth is I haven't seen them in a while either. Mother been sort of...down about it" Moki replied letting his nose sink into the snow as he laid his head down. She had been really depressed lately about it. Quiet and sort of out of it...

Nicole looked away from moki for a second as her mind went adrift, she looked back and smiled. "Well, it's be better soon hopefully" She replied with care for Alona, she was Nicole's somewhat mother now. Whoa, her mind began to drift agian. She not really considered my mother now is she? I dont have a mother...or a family besides for Moki of course.
Returning to earth Nicole laughed a bit at herself as she seemed to sink in the snow a bit. It was gold and all you could see of nicole was her mane tail, eye's, and swirls sence she was blending in with the snow.

Moki gave a little chuckle. "Oh I'm sure hasn't forgotten her and he will come soon. He is just busy...... now he's an elder and all...." Moki shook his head. If his father ever forgot about his mother he would never forgive him.
"Hey now don't disappear on me in the snow" he chuckled shuffling some snow towards her.
