The rays of light began to dim more and more as the sun set. Beneath the window slept a student, one who rather cutely had his tail wrapped around him. If you were close enough you could hear him slightly snoring, though it would be foolish to get that close. For the little blonde was partially a dragon and just as said in myths, it's best not to wake a sleeping dragon. But in a school like this...well...who knows?

((I'm being lazy. <_< >_> ))

Dazed, Akira walked. Dazed as if his mind was slowly retreating into a place of safety and warmth - For there was none to be found in this place, all save for the warmth of that one dragon-man.

He hated the dragon-man, but he loved him still. And he didn't know why. It felt like there were worms in his brain, eating away at the reasoning, the logic. Leaving him with nothing more than emotions, that were even still, beginning to deteriorate.

How long would it be until he was just a shell? A cold blooded, crazy, shell?

He barely noticed the sleeping dragon-boy. Wolfish ears twitching, crimson eyes running over the small frame.

He poked the sleeping dragon. Daring it to wake.

An orange tail quickly raised itself, posing like a cobra about to strike. That was all it took for it to wake it's partner upon the boy's back. Wings quickly awoke as well and flapped about mercilessly. A low growl emitted from the blonde before an unbandaged hand shot out to grab his own tail and sink his teeth into it.

Emerald eyes were dark and slitted as they shifted to the other male in front of him. his pulled away from his tail slowly, licking away the few bits of blood he created. This was the cause of his disturbance. Xyre's eyebrows knitted in anger, a snarl forming upon him.

He stared firmly at the male, his eye growing darker by the second. If there ever was a time he was glad for clothing it was this time. Clothing was flamable. He enjoyed proving that they were. Pyrotelekinesis...perhaps soon enough he'd be able to shoot flames out of his mouth.

The older and taller boy crouched down infront of the younger, much shorter child. Curiousity had gotten the better of him and now it was provoked further.

Ears twitching, his tail doing so as well. He extended his wings to their full span.

"You were snoring... It hurt my ears... I'm Akira." He said, in what was once a friendly and harmless voice. Now it seemed darkened, unsure of itself... possibly dangerous?

(>.> Is this taken place outside or inside?)

As Guiver strolled around the corner where two of the school's walls met and slowed his pace to watch the scene ahead. Two people he did not recognize. His mind processed the thought of them being students of the academy like himself.

As he stopped to watched the two from his safe distance, the fur on his tail bristled and the hairs on the back of his neck rose. There was some think tension in the air. He sure didn't want to get into a mess this early in the school year.

He contemplated on the idea of calling out to them, but the thought was quickly brushed away by the closer inspection of the boy beneath the window and of the taller boy.

So close...so close. Soon, it would burst. Combust. Smolder. One should never play with a sleepy dragon. Especially one that was still recovering from an injury. The other male, the blue-haired one, should burst into flames soon.

A flash of orange flailing near him, his dark gazed shifted to the disturbing object. Xyre's tail then burst into flames, the flames quickly moving up to the tip. He growled. That was a waste. Goddamned tail. He didn't worry about that part of himself getting burned. There was a reason he had scales. But it did succeed in lifting his mood a bit. The flame dancing upon his tail was warm and comforting, almost like sleep. Except his was awake. Damn being a natural blonde.

He gazed at the bit of green in the hallway. Another one? How many were there in this school. He slowly rose into a sitting position, crossing his legs, brining his tail in front of him letting the flame keep him warm. His gazed, it's regular bright emerald, stayed upon the other green object in the vacinity. He blinked at it. And blinked once more.

Slowly he turned back to the wolf-boy. Wings as well. His own scaled pair flapping excitedly. Wings! It wasn't alone. Oh joy to them! Xyre ignored his counter(body)part. He sighed, looking down at the flame, his bandaged hand running down his scales. He raised said hand and motioned the other male over with a finger.

"Might as well make this a pow wow of some sorts." He motioned for the other, Akira, to sit with him. Luckily, after his dragon rage passed, he was rather somber. The haze of sleep was just beginning to clear up. "Xyre. Xyre Zirka. Resident pyro-telekinectic dragon-boy."

Akira moved almost eerily - slow movements as he sat kneeling in front of the younger boy. Choosing that position over sitting next to him, the voices told him to stay there. He thought for a moment, after Xyre gave his name, and motioned for him to sit.

He found it difficult to stay focused on the two children, so instead, focused on Xyre. However, his wings flapped, tail twitching, as if motioning for the green haired boy to come closer. Were they now prey to him? His mind struggled to keep sanity and insanity at bay.

"I am, the resident... Death-god bonded-boy, of sorts. You seem younger than I am, are you new here?"

The other boys movements seemed almost welcoming now to Guiver. The twitching of their tails either meant they were happy or agitated at something. Well, better go and meet the neighbors. He moved cautiously towards them.

He now stood no more than an arm's length from them and chose a spot where he could watch both of the students. From a closer view, Guiver could finally make out the details.

Wings. Interesting. "I hope y'all don't mind me joining. My name's Guiver."

Xyre's gaze turned to the green monkey as a delicate eyebrow was raised. "I summoned you over here...so why would I?" He nodded, locking the othere's name and face into his memory. He turned back to his tail, warm. It was sweet warmth, but it would never be as sweet as the warmth of that woman. He huffed at the flame in agitation for himself.

He looked back up at the now kneeling male. His tail was happily napping in his lap, not really minding the flame upon its tip. "New? I suppose I am. There haven't been many that I have met." At this point he would've now met 6 others. The flame was beginning to die down. He could always reignite it.

His wings continued to flap as if trying to comunicate to the other wings. Most likely complaining about the altered human they were attached to. Xyre easily ignored his flailing parts, it was very common for them to act upon their own needs. As stupid as they were.

His flame was now practically nothing. He looked at his hands. One bandaged, one not. He didn't want to go back to that nurse. Though it was hard to fight the urge to just snuff it out with his hand. He looked back to the other males then bent back, looking through the window as best he could. "Do normal boys do this? Sit in little groups and talk?"

He returned to a normal posture and slapped himself twice. One was for saying something weak. The other for even having that slight desire to be normal. Normality was stupid. That's what she said. Besides, normal people were only exciting when they started to combust. Smirk.

"Not a little boy," It was an automatic response, hearing 'boy' in any sentense made Akira think they said 'little', too. Again his tail, ears, and wings twitched, as if communicating with the other boys's appendages.

"It's nice meeting you, Guiver and Xyre." He said, as if something flicked the back of his head, and reminded him of his manners.

Guiver sat down, his wings fluttering with anticipation. "I'm not sure if normal boys do this kind of stuff, none of the ones back home would really even talk to me."

He brought his knees to his chin, his tail curling over his feet. "It's nice to meet you guys too. The only other person I've meet is Hiro."

The dragon nodded. He did have manners, he just didn't show them often. It was hard to when someone was throwing crap at you. His tail lifted itself out of his lap and then settled upon his head and decided to start it's own 'Appendage Only' conversation.

He raised an eyebrow at the bluenette. His gaze drifted down. He was suddenly reminded of his short-time home. Was it perhaps that he was, for once, around others that were more like him? He never felt this at ease before. Isn't that feeling supposed to reserved for those you cared about? He didn't know! This place was just too...confusing.

"You’ll take care of yourself right? Don’t make me worry too much about you."
"Know that I love you. Got that kiddo?"
"Let me be a mother, will you?"
"Keep in touch Xyre."
"Till whenever Xyre! Till whenever!"

A smiling face. A warm embrace. He got the things he wanted last minute and then was ripped away from them. He didn't want to go home. He didn't want to go home. He just wanted...

"Mother..." Distantly his mind took note that his wings stopped talking and was wrapping themselves around him. Tears? "It's okay, right?...To cry when you miss something that was good to you?" Goddamnit.

Akira glanced up at Xyre, ears twitching as he watched the smaller child seem to think out loud. Crimson eyes followed his expression and he bit his lip in silent contemplation.

Was the boy like he was? Did he have a past that was full of loneliness?

"I cry when I miss something that was good to me. I don't see how it's a bad thing... I think it's part of human genetics."

There was something about Xyre, it made Akira want to look out for him. He reminded him of Luke to some extent, but to others, he was innocent like Hiro.

Hiro?

He turned his head to Guiver, a slight smile on his face.

"You know Hiro? He's my room-mate."

A blonde head snapped up. Eyes a bit wide. He hated how he always talked out loud when things weren't stable within him. But something, something, when all there was was loudness and pure white or even times pure darkness, something to just make it all white noise. Simplistic...white noise.

Human...genetics? Right...right that must be it. Expressing feelings makes you human. That...that made sense to him. Of all the dragon-like things he did receive, it was a dragon heart. How different he could be if he had one that pulsed so strongly as one of those would. "Yeah...genetics..." Xyre stayed quiet, as the bat-winged male spoke the their other one among their little pow-wow. Meeting others...did he really crave it?

Guiver sat there in silence, listening to the conversation. He nodded to Akira's response on how he thought it was human genetics. His tail twitched back and forth, telling him to join in the conversation, but he didn't know what to talk about.

"So you must be Akira then," said Guiver, licking his dry lips. "It's good to finally meet you." He smiled back. He grabbed his tail to halt it's movement. It was making him feel uncomfortable.

He then though about how to reply to Xyre's question. "I'm not sure if it is human genes that make us cry. Cause...don't all animals, even humans, cry when something or someone, that was good to them, goes away?" He paused to ponder about what he'd just said. "Well...maybe I'm thinking to much into it." He let go of his tail and it returned to it's former twitching.
