((Only for me and Mika to post in))

With a heavy sigh Sgina walked alone along the river's water. The silence only broken by her foot steps and the trikling of the water. The sound was welcome to Sgina's tired ears a change from her son Victor's constant hyper voice. Atleast Vudeux was helping but it seemed if not Rahu, Victor was always bothering her even in his sleep he managed to bother her with his loud sometimes fake snoring. Before she had gone on a walk she had made sure all the children were taken care of in some way or another. She missed her more bitter days when she had trained for fighting daily and had a dream of bloodlust, but these days she hardly had the time between taking care of the foals. Unlike other mother's she look forwards to them growing up that she may train her body once more. To other's her body may look fine but the pregnacy had taken away from her larger muscle toning which she missed alot.
She continued walking though thinking about days past and wondering what the future had in store for her.

((Forgive me if the Old English is broken; it's really hard to RP the speech, let alone be completely accurate in how it's supposed to be done. Bear with me on that part please. And if Windflame seems emo, well, that's the way he's supposed to be.))

Despite the whipping, single braids of his mane and tail, the dark Kalona's eyes roved the new area before him in a mad search. He still hadn't found her... this reincarnated mare, his sister, whom he wanted to find and apologize to, for killing her before. He felt that it was his fault for being such a fool... he never wanted to know the feeling of a that kind of emotion ever again; that of guilt and heartbreak. He was never cremated that way, he was never meant to mold into a kind Kalona. At least, that's what he'd been told many times over.

Grunting, he suddenly spotted a blue-striped wind mare walking around looking disgruntled. Tired, perhaps? He made for a landing in front of her, eyeing her carefully. This mare could be the one, right? Then again, any mare could... Mother Epona made sure that when Mita'inka reincarnated she would not be so easily recognized. He debated over just giving up his lone quest, and shrugged. He'd gotten this far, what was the point of giving up now? He cleared his throat a bit; it had been a while since last he spoke. "Greetings, good mare. Forgive this one, but thou mayst haveth an answer for mine question."

Cold, but polite. He felt detached to the world around him, but that was how he had been since that incident so long ago.

Sgina stopped and shook her head slightly from the sudden appearance of the kalona that had landed infront of her. She growled at him as he eyed her not having run into anyone new in awhile she was not to happy with running into this kalona. Sgina begain to bare her teeth just as he gave her a friendly greeting and a question. Sgina had never heard anyone talk in such a manner so her intrest was caught by him now. Raising a brow to him slightly she wondered what such question could a kalona stallion have for her,did he know Calamity?
"It depends on your question, kalona. I dont say much to thoses I dont know." Sgina spoke with a questioning voice as she flicked her tail lightly.

He raised his brow at this mare. Aggressive, wasn't she? "Mine question is this: art thou named Mita'inka?" He knew it was a rediculous question, but it could be any mare, and all he had was a name to go by. He asked this question of every mare he met, and would continue to do so... no matter how futile his quest was. However, from the way this mare spoke, he doubted it was the mare he was looking for. He eyed her carefully, moving back a bit--after all, one never knew how to take a female who was aggressive--to give her room.

"Thou mayst be confused over mine question, but know that all thou hast to do is answer yes or no." He shook his head a bit (not that he could flip his mane; it was so darn long!) and pawed the ground. He wasn't one to be impatient, but he did need to occupy himself as he waited. "Now, this one hast forgotten introductions; thou mayst call this one Windflame Bloodrider, though Windflame suits this one just fine, it thou dost not like the length of mine name. And thee? What ist thine name?" He hadn't meant to be rude like that, to forget to introduce himself, but he remembered in time, hopefully.

Sgina raised a brow at that question was he mistaking her for someone else? She was indeed confused by his question though at first she had thought it was a case of mistaken idenity. Sgina shook herself out of thought before figuring it was best to answer his question.
"No my name is not Mita'inka, its Sgina." Sgina wouldnt be content if he left now without saying anything more. He seemed like he was impatient, but she figured she could use his polite ways to her advantage something she had done to many others in the past.
"Ive answered your question now answer mine. At first I thought it might be a case of mistaken idenity, but as you went on you made me think otherwise. So Windflame, why do you ask a strange mare if their name is Mita'inka instead of simply asking their name?"" Sgina still didnt let her gaurd down and she made a point to show it with her body langue that she hadnt. She was not about to be pulled into some trap by being lost in her curiousity.

"Thou art stubborn seeming," he commented lightly and carefully. "This one asked thy a strange question for this one searches for a certain... friend..." That was all he could answer. This mare was unusually guarded--not that he didn't really know why--and what was interesting was that she wasn't scared of him. He knew that his appearance was intimidating enough, let alone him towering over some of the Soquili in the area.

"Forgive this one for the question. 'Tis a pleasure, Lady Sgina," he continued with a cold, solemn, but polite tone. "There 'twas no mistake of identity, merely a curious question. Thou art not the only one of whom this one hast asked of." He scanned the area behind them and around them, suddenly worried of being threatened or attacked; he was, among most Kalona, one of the rarer, "kinder" ones out there.

Essentially, because of his childhood, he was uncommonly polite. Pushed, he became aggressive; forced, he became a mindless, evil, bloodlust-wanting machine. He hated that side of himself; the side he could barely control, and he liked being in control. Control of himself, at least; he didn't think any other Soquili (if they had grown up with a stubbornness that could match his own) would like to be controlled.

And, just like Sgina, he kept his guard up; he didn't trust anyone, and if he did trust someone, they would have to thoroughly impress him as well as prove they were trustworthy, with no guarantee of blackmail or betrayal.

The answer she was given only served to add to the fire that was her curiousty. Her mind replayed what he said over and over. ~He asked the question because he was looking for a friend, but it wasnt a case of mistaken identity and she was not the only mare that had been asked this question. ~ Sgina thought this didnt make sence unless he had never seen said friend before and in that case how can you be friends with someone if you've never met. Was this Windflame insane or was there still something Sgina was missing."Stubborn? How am I stubborn? I only had you return the favor that I gave to you by answering your question. A question for a question seems only fair to me." Sgina said as he watched him scan the area and simply flicked her tail.
"Are you waiting for something to happen?" Sgina was still not certain that this was not somesort of trap.
Sgina flicked her ears slightly before speaking again.
"What you have said doesnt make sense to me. Is this somesort of trap your trying to pull, because I warn you I am not your average weak fluffy mare. Or is there still just a pice of this puzzle that Im missing, that keeps me from understanding what you say.".

The mare's tone caught him off guard and he narrowed his eyes at her, though he spoke with a calm he did not feel. "Forgive this one once again, for it seems that this one has made an assumption unwanted." He focused his attention on this small mare, and finally decided she was just being careful and since he was a Kalona it made sense. " 'Twas fair of thee to ask a question in return for mine question," he agreed.

Weak, fluffy mare? What manner ist she speaking of? He found her odd description amusing, and though his lips twitched, he did nothing more. "No trap. This one truly has a "piece of this puzzle" thou speaketh of that this one keeps to mine self. 'Tis no business of thee to know, though this one knows thy curiosity must be sparked, for thou hast been asked such an odd question from this one."

"Dont be so polite it annoying ... and it doesnt suit you, besides the overly polite soquili are to easly used. You didnt upset me only curious to why you would say such a thing." Sgina eyes him before taking a step towards him to look him over better trying to decide if he was lying to her.She had almost have rather it be a trap, for now it was obvious she was going to be left with an unsolved puzzle one of the best she had come across yet. Did she care enough about the puzzle to see if she could befriend him enough to find out?
"Your a mean one arent you? Teasing a mare's mind with something so odd than not letting her understand it. That's alright I have pleanty things to keep to myself too. Though I cant say Im not dissapointed by this open end puzzle." Sgina circled him once as she said this still wary of her surroundings regaurdless of what he had said.
She didnt trust anyone it had nothing to do with him being a kalona though that certainly did not help his case.
"You call my questions odd? Says the one that looks for a friend he has never seen before. You cant tell me that doesnt sound odd."

Windflame found the small winged mare more annoying than intriguing, though she did catch his interest. "Thou art asking for much. This one has seen mine friend that this one spoke of, but mine friend tends to change... beings... whilst this one searches." In other words, die and then reincarnate. It was annoying, but he would do it.

"This one dost not need to be cruel, but if thou pushes this one, thou shalt regret it," he warned, tone deep and threatening. "This ist polite merely for the fact that this one believes this one ist of a superior race, of whom do not need to go a sudden, mindless bloodlust unless necessary," he explained. Now she was circling him. Was she planning to try and scare him? If so, she was about to destroy his patience.

Fortunately for her, she did seem to know what she was doing, otherwise he'd have ignored her and moved on. He had an answer to his question already, so he was surprised to see himself still here, being taunted and observed by a lone mare who couldn't possibly even put a scratch on him. "What dost thou know of this one? Do not pretend to presume to know." He tensed, watching her carefully.

Like he said, he would not attack thoughtlessly and without a reason, but even he could not completely control his demonic blood, and if angered or pressured enough, would do so, even though he could be silently trying to tell himself to stop. He hated not being in control, but he accepted himself the way he was. He eyed Sgina, not trusting her motives one little bit.

Sgina eyes changed suddenly as he threatened her not to push and spoke of himself being of a seperior race. Staring him in the eyes her mind flashed back to another kalona she knew, her eyes would now display a different emotion from the buring curiousity they held before. A look of deep thought or anger was what her eyes relayed to anyone looking. As Sgina was silent her mind wandered for a moment as she suddenly realized what she had been doing before she made her mistake of having foals. Maybe she had even forgotten before then, she had forgotten why she trained so hard she had been keeping to herself for so long she had forgotten what sort of bite the world put into her mouth.
"How can one be so superior when they are so perdictable?" Sgina spat finaly a growl hanging on the tip of her words.
"Your breed are all the same you think yourself superior to everyone. This shall be your down fall mark my words kalona. You under estimate races that out power you by far, you may think me a weak wind, but my race only grows stronger with every generations while your's only seems to weaken. My race out numbers your's ten to one and with the right organation we will easily wipe the floor with you where as your race lack what it takes to form a union because your to busy thinking yourself superior........." Sgina stopped realizing how she had exploded.
".....I want to thankyou Windflame for reminding me in your few simple words why I hate this world and the unworthy sacks of flesh that live in it. And one more thing for you to pretend to know me or my strengths either, because even the weakest ant can battle the grasshopper if only it has the heart to do so and beleave me I have the heart to fight you if the needs so come to it." As much as Sgina wanted to know more about this kalona and his strange was she wasnt about to be talked down to like that. She felt the dying ember of her forgotten pains building within her gut. She remember those that had laughed at her and tried to break her spirit since she was a foal. She remember why she had changed her name to evil spirit thoses so many years ago. She thought about the kalona that had lead her to beleave she meant more to him then a passing mare he had known as a foal.
"I will take my revenge on anyone that laughed at me or hurt me in the past and if you add to that laughter or pain you dear kalona will be the one with regrets." Sgina was losing her once strong respect for kalonas they were not what she thought they should be and yet her curiousity for this kalona kept her from stomping off.

Ah, so she did have a bit of a bite to her... and a temper as well. He felt he should inform her that all races were superior in one way or another, for he had spoken in a way she had misinterpreted. Silently baning his head against a tree for his misleading words, he spoke again, though the told was now a biting cold that spoke of how the mare had almost gone to far. "Dost thou thinkst to threaten this one? Perhaps thou thinkst thou hast a chance against this one?" he growled lowly within his throat, more for warning rather than intimidation.

"Thou cannot hope to predict the actions of any race... and this one grew up learning that this one's race was superior to thee, so thou must forgive this one for a mistake in mine words." He shook his head, causing the long, long single braid to momentarily ripple against his dark body, making it seem like flames from the way it was colored. "Dost thou thinkst to be more thoughtful over what thou plans? How dost thou think thou race will rise up against mine own? Thou art not thinking yet far enough ahead."

It was true. The mare was crazy to think that she and the other Winds would be able to rise up and go against the world... because the other Winds--no matter if they were embittered or not--would not gather to her as a leader, would not choose to fight, and would not choose to conquer. As far as he was concerned, his race was cursed; cursed to be evil, cursed to be the way they were, and cursed because they could not completely control themselves. After all, it was why he hated his blood, yet accepted it all at the same time. He bared his teeth in irritation. "Thou dost not need thankth me, for that was not this one's intention to do so."

Too bad the mare had a hot temper... he mused. He nearly blinked... and then did so, realizing his train of thought. For once, he hadn't thought of his "sister", and her reincarnation for a long period of time; how long had he been standing with this mare, to not realize it for hours? Ignoring Sgina's presence for a moment, he shook his head again, angry with himself for having gotten too interested with someone else. He was only loyal to one! One mare only, and this other mare came and he was off in another world... he'd need to punish himself later, but only after he'd shaken off this mare... if possible.
