She yawned, lazing about under her tree. As of late, she had become... bored. Lethargic. Nothing was tasting good to her, even the sweetest of flowers was turning to ash in her mouth. It was becoming.... dull. She'd done many things, which once brought her enjoyment. Nothing. New Soquili she had met lately had been... boring her at best. Old Soquili.... Well, none but her teepee-mates were associated with frequently, and they lost their charm once you lived with them.

She snorted, shaking out her short brown mane. Her chocolate-coloured body gleamed as she moved out into the sun. She bathed infrequently, and it let the natural oils penetrate. That was it. Of course. (Which meant luckily, as of late, she'd been spending enough time in the flowers to prevent a foul, foul stench.)

She moved toward the water, ignoring the annoying voice of her teepeemate Duo, merely snapped her teeth at him as he got too loud for her. For once, the stallion took the hint and moved away. She bathed leisurely, enjoying the contrast of cool water ans hot sunlight, before moving out of it and snorting, glancing around the encampment. She loved her two-legger.... but this was a zoo. Not at all a pleasant place for her anymore.

And so she trook off, finally breaking into a run and flying across the plains.

The leaves crunched in his jaw, fresh and crisp and brand new, and the familier tingle danced behind his eyes. He'd found a nice patch early in the morning and had been enjoying his feast al day.

Falling over onto the ground he rolled around on the grass almost laughing. The horizion was starting to fuzz slightly and even the tree's he was near had begun to dance for him. How could anyone ever say this was wrong? it was so beautiful. Having the world dance just for you was wonderful.

She came to the edge of the forest, finally... and slowed, letting her head fall. Sweat dripped down her muzzle, and she shook it off impatiently. Glanced around. Nothing but the silence, rustling. It was with an annoyed snort, as she felt a muscle clench in her leg from the abrupt stop, that she took off, a careless trot along the line of trees.

She heard it before she saw it. Laughter that rang in her ears as almost crazy, yet almost.. gleeful. What? She slowed further, moving forward almost cautiously.

She might be bored, but she had no desire to die today. That was more excitement than she cared for.

It probably hadn't been a good idea to lay on the ground while inebriated but it was a little late for that now. Rolling onto his side his legs kicked for a moment as he tried to stand back up. Even with his feet under him it was hard to stand. It seemed as if his muscles didnt want to cooperate with him. This only made him laugh harder. It was a bright laugh only steps away from disolving into a helpless giggling.

Leaning against a tree he shook his head and watched as the colorful fuzzy world spun for a moment. Most people would have been disturbed by this view but he'd come to depend on it. When the world stood still bad things happened. Nothing bad ever happened when everything was fuzzy and danced and blended together.

She came upon him finally, and ducked into the trees, head peeking out curiously. Ehhh? She watched the stallion. He was dark, almost pitch black, with vibrant lime green to him. His hair was cropped short, and his tail was ragged at best. Her first impulse was to ponder if the stallion just... didn't care? Or if he was born so naturally raggedy and ill-kempt.

Then she realized, she didn't have much room to speak. If it wasn't for her Citlalli, she would be an ill-kempt mess herself. She didn't step forward yet, however, still unnerved by the stallions laughter. She remained carefully hidden in the trees, watching.

Waiting patiently to see if the right moment would come.

Rubbing his side against the tree he managed to get rid of an itch that had presented itself. It probably hadnt been intellegent to rub as hard as he did since his ribs creaked in protest but what were a few ribs lost in persuit of an itch?

Straightning up and stepping away from the tree he stagered for a moment before he righted himself. Giggling again he trotted in a circle before he stopped to stare at a small white flower with far more attention than it deserved

It was hesitantly that she moved forward, within range of the other Soquili. Of course, her intent was to go right on past, but when she saw him staring, so very intently, at a single spot.... "What are you looking at?" her voice was soft, hesitant. Like a filly's. And really, she wasn't a shy person. It was his laughter that unnerved her. Made her jumpy.

His eyes didnt move from the flower but his ears did turn toward the sound. It was a few minuets before he made any attempt to answer her. "The flower .... it's dancing."

Now, this had to sound a little strange. The breeze had stilled a few minuets ago and there was nothing to make the flower move. Infact that poor little flower was as still as it could be.

"I wonder if it will get up and walk away if it watch it long enough"

There was a brief snort of alarm as Tehya eyed the stallion. "I'm sure it will." she sidled around him cautiously. Was he.... swaying? Was he ill? Did she care? Well, yes she did, unfortunately, since if he died.... she couldn't leave a corpse to the coyotes. And that'd slow her down.

One had to be prepared for every eventuality.

"What's your name?"

His eyes turned to her after a few moments as it seemed he had a bit of a chore actually focusing on her. When he did his eyes latched almost immediately onto the bright colors across her front legs. "ooooooo...... you glitter." His eyes widened as he swayed his head back and forth as he looked at her.

A brow was raised. "Thank you?" she'd never thought of herself as particularly flashy, but.... he didn't look like he was all there at the moment anyways. Was the awaying normal? She found herself staring at him, found herself catching the look of horrified fascination she was giving him. What was she supposed to say to that, anyways?

He was quiet for a moment but quickly that silence was broken by a giggle. Shaking his head he straightened up for a moment and actually met her gaze.

"Shouldn't thank me, i didn't do it" he giggled again, knowing somehow he probably made no sence.

She met his own gaze, pink eyes curious. "True. Maybe I should thank my parents." her smile was amused. "I'm Tehya."

"Parents?" He titled his head for a minuet as he actually seemed to think about that. "noo .... parents don't do anything." He snickered before prancing in a circle.
