Sasuke looked out the window at the night sky. He sighed quietly and walked away. He pulled on a shirt and slipped on his shoes. He slipped out the window and dashed off. He found his way to a small group of trees and pulled himself into one. He sighed again and looked to the sky, reaching up as if he was trying to touch the stars. The beautiful twinkling lights so very far away.
He missed so many things. He knew life could never go back to the way it once was. No one would except him. Not anymore. No one really actually cared anyway. He bit the inside of his cheek until it bled and he could pull little pieces of skin off with his teeth. This had become a habit with Sasuke. It was how he learned to distract himself.

Neji closed his eyes, taking in the fresh air of nature. Tilting his head to the sky, almost trying to get heat from the moon, he sighed. Nobody understood him. Half the time he hardly undertsood himself.
Stepping to a small field with trees he smirked. "Come out, Uchiha." He had his byukagan activated already so he was a step ahead.

Sasuke's eyes flicked to the raven-haired male in the clearing. When the other decided to get there, he had no idea, but, there was no use hiding. Neji could see everything. Sometimes, it felt like the other could even see into his soul. That thought gave him shivers.
He slipped from the tree and landed on his feet. He looked at Neji, "What do you want, Hyuuga?" He had no idea why they still called each other by their last names. Maybe they hadn't built enough friendship. Sasuke scoffed verbally at that thought. It's not like either one allowed the other to get very close. He guessed it was a ninja thing.

Neji crossed his arms over his lean chest. "It isn't healthy for you to be out here." He hadn't a clue as to why he cared so much about the Uchiha boy, but he would suck it up.
Glaring at the boy, he sighed. "My name is Neji. Don't call me by my last name anymore, Sasuke."

"Okay then, Neji. Why do you care? And how is it not healthy to be looking at the stars?" Sasuke totally disregarded that it was fairly cold out that night and he was only wearing a black tee shirt and white shorts. He decided against wearing what Orochimaru had given him. He put a hand on his hip and let the other arm dangle,"Besides, what are you doing out here so late?"

Neji sighed slightly, tilting his face to the stars. "It's called 'Land scaping.' and what's it to you?" He went back to facing the Uchiha, realizing that he wasn't in the regular outfit Orochimaru had given him. Or well, of the descriptions he had heard of it from that loud mouthed Kyuubi holder.
"Put this on before you get yourself sick." He threw an extra sweatshirt he had to the boy, settling himself on the ground.

"Since when did you become my mother?" Despite Sasuke's protest, he slipped the sweater over his head. It was pretty cold that night and, to tell the truth, he was grateful for the company.
Sasuke sat down on the ground across from Neji. He had no idea what to say or what to do. That always seemed to happen to him when he was around Neji. Whenever Sasuke felt like saying something to the other, he banished the thought in fear of sounding stupid. Now, why was that?

Neji shrugged at the comment, mumbling something about friends helping one another.
Smirking slightly at a constelation, he reached into his pouch for paper and a pencil, he'd brought it along. Unsure as to why the Uchiha was being a little more quiet than normal he felt it wouldn't really matter if he began drawing random things. It was a hobby he had picked up from Sai.

Sasuke watched Neji for a little while before leaning forward and propping his head up with his hands,"I didn't know you liked to draw." Sasuke tried to see what Neji was scetching, but, he couldn't from the angle he was currently at. He stood and moved behind Neji to lookover his shoulder, but, he still couldn't see it. He moved forward and fell on top of Neji. His head rested in teh crook of Neji's neck and Sasuke found that he was a little too close for comfort, yet, he couldn't force himself to get off, "I apologize." Sasuke said before attempting to roll off of the other.

Neji was enjoying how Sasuke had tried to see what he was drawing. "Hn." He mumbled trying to focus. When the Uchiha fell on top of him he freaked out a little bit. "It's fine." He muttered, grabbing hold of the man before he could go anywhere or get off. "Just stay."
