[Class One Start]

Ugu walked through the single doorway to the dojo. He moved slowly, and silently, as he shifted through the clean room. Eventually, as he walked with his lonely grace, he made it to the furthest edge of the room. The shinigami teacher turned to view the doorway open doorway. He exhaled a breath.

He would simply wait there. Standing tall, his 7'1 frame towered over the doorway's highest rim. The man wore no shirt, or shinigami robes, on his chest- thus showing the world his hacked and scarred muscles that dominated his front. Shadows lew and formed in the middle of the scars on his face, shoulders, and stomach, causing his appearance to look worn. His eyes still kept to the door in anticipation of his eventual students.

I walked calmly into the dojo. The only experience in sword fighting I now had lay in my past, before I became a Shinigami. It was that, that made me confident in my technique. I rearranged my Zanpakuto so that it was no longer at my side, but across my shoulders. Although, for Iaijutsu it was almost uselss, unless i were attacking from the side. However, I didn't want to focus on how fast I could draw my Zanpakuto, I wanted to focus on my style, technique and strength.

i took a bokken from the wall and walked over to a dummy. I calmed myself and then struck down on its head before pulling the bokken back and stabbing it straight into the dummy's abdominal areas. I jumped back slightly and with a huge slash swiped at it from the side, in a diagonal strike from my left shoulder to its right hip.

I used a swift foot step, half stepped back as if slicing straight through my opponent, bent down and then as I came around swung the blade up straight to the head of the dummy while also blocking an imaginary sky to ground attack. I kept both hands on the bokken, just barely letting go to switch my grip once or twice during my turns and twists.

I jumped up again into the air, somersaulted back once, and then used what skill I had to straighten myself out and come back down with all that momentum for my own sky to ground attack. Once I landed, I swiftly adjusted myself and drew my sword back a bit before doing for a left hip to right shoulder slash. Just before making contact however I spun around again as if to block a horizontal attack from my right.

I could feel my muscles burning already, and I didn't think the teacher had noticed me yet, thankfully I was being quiet with my steps, though I couldn't hide the noise of hitting the dummy. I flipped around again and then with deliberate slowness raised my sword back and then palm striked it with one hand straight into the dummy's head. I grabbed the bokken again, planted my feet on the dummy and pulled back and off, somersaulting in mid air.

Although this was only practice, I had to make my technique run faster and stronger before I'd be able to take it out onto the battle field. I slashed to my side and then held it out as I waited for the teacher to notice I was even here.

Ugu Zenmaru watched the student bash against the dummy. His lime eyes watched the constant movements of the person's sword, and the technique that the soon-to-be shinigami possessed. Ugu reached down into a sack that was on his hip and retrieved a class-sheet from it.

Then, when he pulled the roll of text from his pouch, his eyes went back to Kenosha. "I'm guessing you're a second year shinigami?" As he asked that question, though, a thought hit him. Wait a second. This person was the shinigami he saw before the tournament, and that was inside that clearing. His lime eyes focused and his brows furrowed together as he looked at the sword movements of the shinigami-in-training.

It was strange. The guy in the clearing had an above-average reiatsu and had been able to break up a fight between two students, if he recalled correctly. Also, the sword technique that Kenosha currently was using seemed to have been done by more muscle memory than mental actual movement. Ugu smiled at that, since it probably meant that the student had been practicing for longer than his 'second year' guess. "May I get your name? I need it so I can check your name off the attendance sheet."

"Kenosha Kai," I said then I looked at him, "Actually, I am a full fledged shinigami as you can see, but...i've lost my abilities. So i've come back to regain them" I gestured to the full Shinigami uniform I was wearing.

I doubted that many students actually came back to the Academy once they had graduated, but, I needed to learn once more the techniques which once made me strong. I could feel that my own reiatsu was only a fraction of what it once used to be, but I hoped to increase it's level.

"Oh," Ugu said, rather bluntly, as he walked toward the nearest wall. His attendance sheet moved back into the small bag. He plucked a wooden sword from one of the holders that were fitted to the said wall, and wrapped both of his hands around the slightly padded handle of it. The shinigami turned to look at his 'student'.

"Would you be willing to try those moves on an actual target?" He smiled, slightly, as he spoke. "Or would you prefer a small spar? Don't worry, I have a healing Zanpaktou, and I'll use it if you get hurt."

"Heh, the spar sounds good," I said. I sprinted forwards and raised my sword up and back slightly for maximum momentum. I wouldn't have to hold back against a sensei. I then swung around in a spin and gently moved the blade into a lower position before slashing up from his left hip to his left shoulder

Ugu would bring his bokken ('wooden sword') down slightly, in an attempt to block his opponent's quick upper cut. The wooden blade would move to the right of Ugu, moving into position to halt the up-coming strike. His muscles hands would hold firm as Kenosha's bokken would come into contact with his. Ugu's stick would most likely halt the other stick from coming any further.

[Dodge Roll: 1d20 + 40]

As he blocked the sword the shinigami teacher would make a step forward. His bokken would swurve downward along Kenosha's sword, making way toward the student's sword-hand. With enough skill, and if Kenosha's hands weren't quick enough, Ugu's sword would probably come into contact with the student's unguarded knuckles.

[Attack Roll: 1d20 + 17]

[Nyeh...all those would's make it hard to read, stop speaking in future tense would you. Please emo ]

My eyes widened, the strength and superiority of the sensei was formidable, and I would have to use all my technique in order to get out of it. As his blade slid down my bokken I made a split second choice and released my right hand from my bokken and drew my bokken back around his blade so it was inbeteen us and now instead of attacking it was diagonal from my left shoulder to my right hip, guarding me. I forced my left hand forward slightly.

(note this move is done at the same time your bokken is coming down so the dodge roll is more or less how fast I was, if I'm not fast enough then I have bruised knuckles...i presume there is no such thing as a block roll here so ...
Dodge roll: 1d20+14

Having successfully parried the attack I drew the blade up and back at my left hip and thrust forwards in a stabbing motion towards his abdomen. He was wide open at the moment, and I was thankful I still knew how to weild a blade.

I had this distinct impression however, that he wasn't coming at me with all he had and I was struggling to keep up with him at the moment. How did he move his sword so fast while blocking? Yet he made such a slow come back while attacking. That's how I knew he was holding back.

(Attack Roll: 1d20+2)

Tsai walked into the classroom, it seemed class had started. He had rushed here from his Secret training spot. He was regaining his breath while he walked in. It seemed the sensei was sparring with someone, someone from the first division. "That's weird, I thought classes had started" he muttered and watched.
