Athrun stared around at the clouds around him, black and roiling on the little mountain top that he was in. The clouds up in the land of the gods were ones that he could never remember before, but he had a feeling that it was just part of his personality making the clouds around him. Just sort of suiting his personality with being up here again.
At least it had to be because the clouds off to one side of him were completely white.
"Why do I bother coming up here? I haven't been up here since..." Athrun trailed off faintly and frowned deeply. ninja

Being in the god's haven was something Boma had never experienced and infact she had never taken flight in her life. But after watching the birds for so long she decided that it would be best for her to test out the things..the..wings she had protruding from her back. So with a shimmer her metallic wings flapped making a harsh clanging noise agianst the wind.
She must have been an awkward sight, flapping quickly, she did not know that it was her powers, not her wings that guided her through the air and clouds. That was another thing to add to her new long list of experiences, she had never touched or even seen clouds up close!
With a smile she answered the foreign voice, "I don't know where here is?"

Turning his head to catch sight of the female to his side, Athrun raised an eyebrow free from his blindfold and stood up to look respectful at least. She was rather beautiful in her own way, as all goddesses were, but there was something about her horns and her metalic looking wings that caught his eyes.
"I don't really know where or when here is either, if it makes you feel better." Athrun said to her in his normal fatherly tone.
The fur on the back of his shoulders bristled slightly and he sat down again so it would appear as if it didn't happen. It wasn't as if he should jump to conclusions with her after all, there was a good chance that she was just as nice as she looked after all.

Uncomfortably she came to a landing beside him, her shoulder bumping against his, "Sorry," she grinned as heat rose to her face. Her new life was bringing many new things, and polite-ness was one of them. She never before would have apologize.
"I've never really flown before, you see," she ducked her head slightly so she wouldn't bash him with a horn and backed away slightly, "I am Boma'burudi, would you mind if I asked your name?" he said politely her voice sounded like soft gravel.

Leaning his head to the side Athrun stared at both of her wings, not really minding that she'd bumped him as he'd had much worse in his time. A small smile spread over his snow white muzzle and the lonely god nodded his head to her.
"You should practice, it makes perfect you know." Athrun told her in his smooth voice, it resonanted more up here in the clouds than it ever had before. "Call me Athrun, it's a pleasure to meet you Boma. And such incredible horns."
He sniffed at one of them atop her head in amuzement, his ears pricked forward as a sign of respect since she couldn't see his eyes.

A cub like giggle half spilled half rumbled from inside of her as he sniffed her horns, "I was born with them, they've always been their," she shrugged it off, but felt very happy that someone liked one of her features, she still felt like a rock within the earth.
"Your eyes..why are they covered?" it was another cub like action, she was very inqusitive about this world, and even more so in gods. She had yet to speak with a mortal, although she had seen many.

"Hmmmm... well everyone's born with different things about them that make them special. Your horns are very special." The old god smiled softly at her and thumped his tail like a dog for a moment before he sniffed at the horn again.
Twitching an ear up straight and letting the other fall the god chuckled and patted the blindfold. "The're covered to protect myself. There are things in this world that some just shouldn't see."

"There are many things that I have not seen," she thought about the things she had seen in the last week. And how her cold heart had slowly melted for the world under the sky. The only good thing she had found to use her horns for was digging ruts in the earth.
She squirmed uncomfortably looking at him, "you are awefully quiet?" she was not used to having anyone to talk to, and the recent week also showed her that talking was something to look forward too!

"You'll see them with time. Wisdom and knowledge come with age, you can't rush it anymore than it wants to be rushed." Athrun smiled softly at her, thanks to having his pair of cubs it was almost fatherly. The sense that he was talking to a goddess and being normal around her was slowly just dissipating away.
Another chuckle worked from his white muzzle and the lonely god shook his head. "My realm calls for me to listen rather than talk, so I tend to listen more."

"Ahh, I see...and what is it that you rule?" Her eyes twinkled with the knowledge that she might know more than he thinks, but of course she probably did not. Her curiousity would be her downfall, she was constantly asking questions and her eyes never really sat still.
She had seen this earth in another life, but it was different now and she was going to learn all about the new things, and learn why she had risen from the earth after such a long time.
"I am sorry for my questions..." her voice regained some of it's smoothness as she spoke.

"Loneliness is my realm." The god said gently, his eyes watching her from behind the blindfold. He had to admit that it wasn't so bad to see another with such curiosity, especially one this young.
"It's perfectly fine. I hardly mind questions at all, how else will you learn if you don't ask?" Athrun asked with somewhat of an amused grin. It was rare he saw amusement in others but it was a good thing to find he had to admit.

"I suppose I would learn by listening, but I am outgoing and have a very loose tongue!" she chuckled and thought for a moment. She felt that Athrun was much older than she, even if he looked about her age. Her heart fluttered to think that she would live for so long.
"Lonliness, is there a power that comes along with that, or are you just, well lonely?" she grinned like a teenaged girl.
"Do you know..well...if it becomes easier to get along with mortals? I fear that my rage towards them will last practically forever..and I have no reason to be angry. I should be angry at my own kind," she thought of the god that had sealed her away as she spoke.

"There is power in everything if you really want to find it." Athrun said with a simple nod of his head. "And learning takes listening and asking, quite honestly I think you've quite adept at both of those. So you'll learn quite a bit in life."
However his eyes shimmered at her last question and he frowned gently. So this goddess was angry with mortals as he was angry with immortals. It was almost ironic in a way.
"Well then.... If I can bring myself to get along with gods after what happened to my family and my being cursed, then I'm sure whatever happened to you shall ease with the years."

"Thank you, I think. I will listen to everything around me, I assume that will make the transition from the earth to the sky much easier?" she mused over the though of being away from the ground may actually make her a better person!
"I hope that we both heal over time, and perhaps we will meet again after this and discuss our healing process?" That was a thought, she would heal someday, but how? She had a mortal family once, but they could not survive beneath the earth..the one place she thrived.

"From earth to sky is a hard transition, but I prefer the ground where I've learned more over the years. The sky does nothing for me other than to wash away my problems from before." The lonely god said tiredly, sitting down slowly on the ground and fluttering one of his wings.
The Eye of Horus turned to Boma for the first time in a few moments and glimmered. "with time all wounds may be healed, but I wish you luck on top of it. It may take forever, but you'll heal." A wing reached out and tapped her on the shoulder with a feather gently. "I once had a mortal family and once didn't wear these heiroglyphs or this blindfold. Time has yet to heals those wounds."
