I was watching the trailer for the final Doctor Who episode "Parting of the ways" at the end the Doctor inquires about how the daleks survived the time war he is answered by a deep voice "They survived through me" I believe this to be Chief Kalid Scientist Davros creator of the Daleks as it certainly would make sence, What does everyone else think?

I have doubts about this...a few stemming from the fact Davros was killed off about a billion times over the years but most stemming from the fact I feel he'd be too hard to try and sell to a modern audience. I'm plumping for the Master being back in town or, failing that, some new kind of villain who's probably in the galactic dominion industry and makes a point out of bringing civilisations to the brink of extinction to keep them as trophies. Well...it'd explain the mystery of the surviving Daleks at any rate xp
Kind of like a pan-galactic Van Statten biggrin

I doubt it's the Master -- according to Doctor Who Magazine, the writers claim that he Master doesn't show up in in this episode. Furthermore, the next episode is supposed to include "a significant other" from Dalek history, which sounds a lot like Davros to me.
Although, I do have my suspicions about that Dalek from episode 6. It seems strange that Daleks would have a self-destruct function, given how much they love themselves -- it seems more likely that that Dalek transported itself somewhere, perhaps to follow through on its proclamation that "the Daleks survive in me!"?
That's a long shot, though. I'm still banking on Davros -- the Dalek from ep 6 was probably just a plant to lure the Doctor in.

...Unless the Daleks can mess with time and space too, in which case that's all fine. I don't know all that much so I'm taking a few too many stabs in the dark here.
The "Survive in me!" thing fits well. Perhaps Rose's Dalek mutated physically as well as mentally...

Hmmm - Rose's Dalek, mutated, eh? Something I hadn't considered...
Here's another name to throw into the mix... Omega. Surely if someone is going to help the Daleks survive beyond the Time War, substantial knowledge of time-travel would be valuable. A combination of Time Lord knowledge and anti-matter power would be particularly useful.
Davros is a kinda obvious choice, and the most likely candidate, but still, one can never be complacent.

Omega, Worked in the begining to create Time lord Society he worked with Rassilon To create the 'Eye of Harmony' A black hole of infinate energy for which was used to power Gallifrey and the Tardis's However in 'Arc of Infinity' he was destroyed by Peter Davidsons Doctor so i consider it highly unlikely its him Thats a Picture of Omega from the John Pertwee episode 'The three Doctors' and thats him in the Peter Davidson episode 'Arc of Infinity'

The Voice i swear is Davros, you get to hear him talk for longer in the final teaser trailer on the BBC site and it sounds just like him 3nodding I'm willing to bet gold that it is Davros whee

I think you can actually see a blurred picture of Davros in one of the screens on the final teaser trailer so yeah, starting to look like they are going that route...let's hope the PC squad don't object too much to the portrayal of the ultimate evil as a disabled old man xD

My mother's seen the cast list -- I don't know where she found it so I can't link it, I'm afriad -- but Davros was listed, so he's definitely in the episode.
Interestingly, [potential spoiler, highlight to read] the watcher was listed too, which means David Tennant probably gets to be running around before the Doctor even regenerates. X3

X3cool, i knew it was Davros from the beggining, i saw on some website 'Emporor Dalek' in the cast list but that was last saturday so it was probably unreliable 3nodding

is your mom conected to the BBC? O.o cuz I looked at Internet Movie Data Base and it didn't have ether of those charactors listed? Thats a prety definitive website... so.. O.o I duno... I'm skeptical. *shrug* xd
I do know that David Tenant is going to be on though. Christopher Eccleston is going to be filming Davinci Code at the same time that the christmas special is going to be filmed.. so guess who isn't going to be in the christmas special??? xd and guess who is?! YAY! new Doctor!
