(Would be on as KiriA500...but I've been banned for 2 weeks.)

Neither. Don't make stupid vs. threads.
o.o What did you get banned for? Want me to let the guild members know or do they already know?

*points thread maker to the chatterbox*

Yes please. Let the Paladins know. I can't log in as my main.

And as far as what I did...I have no friggin' clue. I've read the Terms of Service...and I haven't done a damn thing. *shrugs*

So who has been banninated so far?
Baker and Kiri. Any others?

Damn those capitalists! Bringing down innocent people.
Baker got banned for a stupid reason, in my eyes.
Kiri doesn't even know why it happened.
This is injustice.
I'm next. ;-;

Oh yeah.. I forgot my sig was removed by a mod. x_x;

I don't know what made all the mods all suddenly active... The only problem is, they're only active on banning and stuff like that, instead of fixing stuff. @_@

Who knows? We're a popular organization, thus, getting lots and lots of attention. We might be taking this a little too far however, Mods could be really active and you don't even realize it.

I'm just hoping these mods are really big final fantasy/sephiroth fans, otherwise my sig will never be activated again.

There has been alot of unfair bannings as of late..

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have a feeling that there's a mod (yet I won't single out who since I don't put it past them to stalk posts even in a guild where I should be allowed to speak my mind) who thinks they have to prove their superiority to all points of Gaming discussion as well as our group especially.

Said mod probably thinks we 'undermine their authority' which is stupid parenoia. Personally, I think said mod needs to be evaluated by the Admins because they're not doing their job justly or correctly and have become drunk with power.

Wait, wait... Baker got banned?!?

Why didn't I hear about this, and what happened? O_o

Don't you have to be given some kind of -reason- to be banned?

I filled out a feedback form.

I have a fear that one or more moderators, most likely of the Videogames forum (now the Gaming forum) has gotten a little drunk with power.

I'm a member of a guild, the Paladins. ( http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/guilds/index.php?page_mode=4&guild_id=462 ) We do our best to help new members in the VGD who make posts in the wrong place, and attempt to help the mods keep the forum clean by reporting misplaced and repeat thread. Yes, some of our members can fly off the handle and be jerks, but overall the members of our club are well-behaved and do our best to work -with- the mods, not against them. Beramode has been watching our guild from it's startings, back before the Guild Network was as it is now.

However, I have to believe that our guild has become a target by one or more moderators. One or more moderators seem to go out of their way to come down on members of my guild. We've had threads moved to the chatterbox and recycle bin for silly reasons, like 'It got off topic' (What thread over 300 pages -hasn't- gone off topic at a few places?) or we have been given no reason at all. Many of the threads weren't even out of place, or even breaking any kind of TOS at all. We've had signatures removed that were only a few pixels over the limit, and still not had them restored to us. (Now, I do agree that the members who had thier signatures removed were in the wrong, but there are many, many, many other non-members of this guild who have signatures far over the limit, and still have them on display. All I'm asking is that the mods be fair.)

Two of our members have also been banned. Not permanantly, but still banned. KiriA500 (banned for two weeks) doesn't even know why he was banned. He says he has re-read the TOS and Rules and Guidlines, and found nothing he broke. I always thought you were notified of why you were banned, unless it was something like hacking or scamming. If you don't know what you got banned for, how can you fix it?

Another member, Sgt. Baker, was banned for three days. He is assuming this is because of a silly topic he made in the Videogames forum, expressing his disdain for repeat topics. I didn't get to see the actual thread, but from what I have heard, there was nothing offensive in this thread. He basically said something along the lines of 'If you keep posting repeat topics, the VGD will be lost to them'. It surely does not seem like something deserving of a ban, without even a warning.

My guild members and I are getting very worried about this, and as a higher-ranking member of the guild, I feel it part of my responsibilty to stick up for my friends.

This might not even bother us so much if it seemed like the forum itself was being taken care of, but it's not. There are always many, many repeat threads and misplaced topics. I report them as often as I can, but I hate to bother the mods too much. Beramode, Malee, and even Bazz can vouche for my reporting threads. If this moderator who's policing the people of my guild has so much time to follow us and scrutinize us so closely, why can't they do their actual job of keeping their forum nice? Last I heard, mods were not appointed so that they could abuse their power on a few member that they see as a 'threat' to their power.

Thank you for reading this, and for looking into it. I look forward to hearing any news regarding this subject.

crying Please use the word gay correctly...

And they send you an email after the fact (or they should) telling you who stopped your sig so you can PM them when it's fixed.
