Colche and Siria

The little cheetah was feeling a bit on edge. She had been like that for a while now. With her expanding stomach came worries of responsibilities and the fear of the unknown. Judging by the size and drop of her belly currently it was perfectly clear that she was pregnant. Knowing full well that she would soon enough be a mother and a single mother at that worried her. She knew she was having more than one cub in her ever growing belly she just didn't know how many. Her biggest fear was that she would have a dozen! A dozen babies! Good gods she wouldn't know what to do with them all.

The fur on her neck lifted on end as if she was frightened just at the mere thought of it. she tried to calm and return to her relaxed state o mind but it was sort of difficult. Exhaustion flowed over her quite suddenly and she made her way to a clump of trees to sit and relax. Or at least try. their weight and cubs in he stomach had been giving her an awful lot of hassle of late. she was finding it hard to stay in one place for any length of time, and if she did she fidgeted constantly unable to stay laying on her bulge.

Staying within the coalition borders was becoming difficult as she roamed for a den near by. She wasn't due just yet but she wanted to be ready for when it happened. At least when the first pangs of labor came upon ehr she could away to her den in peace. The problem was finding a suitable private place.

Siria'Chunuka was wandering along the border of lands. She came and went as she pleased not caring of the problems she might have stirred up while she was at the places she had been too, which so far had not been many. The black and green maned wolf had her head held high, like a stuck up person would do.

Her tail flicked back and forth as her eyes scanned the area around her. She had satisfied her hunger long ago, after she had failed to catch the hare that had taunted her so.

Then as she thought about that memory her gaze settled on the pregnant cheetah. Raising a brow she wondered what had happened to the male that had caused the females pregnancy. Taking a few steps over she called out to the female, even though this was out of character for her. "Hello there."

She was laying fidgeting and hardly noticed the maned wolfs approach only realizing she was there when she spoke "Greetings" she whispered her voice calm though sounding tired. She smiled gently at the wolf before shifting again finally finding herself comfortable she settled slightly her fore paws crossed as perfect blue eyes settled upon the strangely colored wolf "I have never seen you around here before" she purrs her sweet airy voice was nice to listen to some would say she had no touch of anger in her tone though there was that touch of simple exhaustion.

"I never stay in one place, at least not for more than a few days. Keeps the adventure flowing." Was Siria's simple answer back to the blue eyed cheetah. Simple short answers were really the only thing Siria would give to people, long explanations took out all of the fun, the fun of leaving others guessing, searching for answers. "May I ask, where is the soon to be father?"

Colche smiled there were many wanderers. When the wolf asked her question though her ears flattened against her head and she shifted uncomfortably looking at her stomach "Cheetahs do not stay together after they have mated" she whispered. She knew that some cheetahs did they stayed mates and were together forever , she had wanted that but their father had not. he was a rogue and a womanizer. she knew this now though looking back she had been taken by his charm and his beautiful eyes.

Clearing her throat the female cheetah curled ehr tail around her back legs and looked at the other femme with a smile "I have certainly had enough of wandering now" change the subject "time to settle down and raise a family." she sighed gently she was very worried about said family.

"I am sorry to hear that, was it a one night stand?" She seemed to know a lot about it, even though in truth she did not. Taking a seat not to far from the cheetah she offered a smile. It was sad to see that many as she could tell, that males had left females pregnant, never having their child know who there father was, or what he looked like. "Are you happy for your soon to be family?"

Colche shifted uncomfortably. she was very unused to creatures asking her such personal questions. Clearing her throat the beautifully marked femme spoke in her gentle tones "I thought he would stay" she whispered looking a little sad, a far away look in her sweet blue eyes. "I suppose now I see that he never was going to stay, i was just another female to him. We did have a wonderful time with him. i thank him for that she showed me what love can be and to be adored and card for as he cared for me. it is something I will never forget."

She paused then taking in the second question. "Happy yes, but I am also frightened. I do not know how many grow in my belly and it makes me afraid that I will not be a competent mother to them. I have never had to care for my own before." She smiled wistfully. "with my luck i will have a dozen and will be run in to my grave with hem" she laughed though there was no happiness in her laughter. she was truly frightened about her soon to be family.

"You can tell me if my questions make you uncomfortable, you don't have to answer them after all." Siria spoke in a softer tone but then she was back to her almost normal self again. Soon she was back on all four paws. She studied the female in front of her.

"That is the problems with males, you never know if they are going to stay or not, and when you think they are....they leave you alone with nothing but memories."

Colche smiled gently moving once more as her stomach moved with the leap of cubs within. "he never said he would stay I simply, assumed" she purrs resting her gaze eon her shifting stomach for a moment "I'd hoped he would but I could not expect it of him. After all cheetahs are lone beasts they are not meant for mating and grouping." She sighed gently moving uncomfortably once again "Still, perhaps i will find him one day and tell him of his cubs" She smiled softly her dusty blue gaze falling on the oddly colored wolf. "it seems to me that you have had some bad experiences."

"Rather, I have not had the experience, but I have seen it happen..." She trailed off wondering if she should tell the female her story. Thinking about it she decided to tell her, if and only if the Cheetah wanted to know. "It happened to my mother."

Another pause and she looked at the other staring at her for quite some time. "Perhaps, if you would like I can tell you some of the story." Then she turned with a small smirk "But that is another story for another time." Then she was gone.
