the title is pretty much self explanatory, i never realized how much of a time consumer world of warcraft was, met a lot of good people and had a lot of good times now that i've quit...again i tried to find a good MMO now before u yell at me for making an MMO suggestion thread, i'm telling you right now it's not =P I'm just wondering if i am too picky about MMOs seeing as i've tried like 10 in the past 2 months like trickster, rubies of eventide, flyff, and a bunch of others, or are my expectations a little too high after playing world of warcraft, what do u guys think O.o

i guess i just hate how the leveling process of some MMOs is too fing slow, dont get me wrong i love the leveling process, but a lot of games only have one specific way of leveling. i mean wow was a tad slow, i only got 2 60s in a year and a half but at least u had other things to occupy your time and some things to level faster like instances and maybe leveling professions i like MMOs where u can do other things. i guess games hero online, trickster, and flyff were too much of a pain and didnt have much to offer and i think i'm kinda quitting some because my sister and some friends i know wont play them like they played wow

I've never played WOW so I don't really know how good it is or isn't. Though everyone seems to say it's very awesome.

Anyways, I guess it just depends on what you are looking for in a MMO. I can't really say if you are being too picky or not. You never really gave any reasons as to why other MMOs haven't held your attention. What is it that you are looking for in a MMO? Maybe if you can figure that out then you can find one that fits your style of game play and your tastes. Again, I think it just all comes down to finding out just what you want from one.

WoW was certainly very engaging, it's hard to find a MMORPG that good that doesn't also suck away your soul and time. After quitting WoW I enjoyed Guildwars. It's similar, but not as time consuming, and I think it's a lot of fun.

It's hard to find a good MMORPG that's really good in general though. Just think about the things you did or didn't like about WoW an try to find a nice fit for yourself. Just depends on what you like.

You name a MMO out there today and ive played it or at least tried it. It is hard to find good ones. Everquest was the MMO i played since 1999 but now I just dont have time for it. MMO's is entirely based on what kinda game style you wanna play. In alot of MMO's you cant solo which is one thing that makes World of Warcraft so desirable the fact that on any class no matter what it is you can solo clear to lvl 60 if y ou choose to or you can group with others.

Alot of mmo's dont give you this option. Also in WoW while you can get sucked in you dont "have" to play hours and hours on end to get anything accomplished like you do with most mmo's.

I am waiting for Vangaurd Saga of Heroes right now and then later next year Warhammer Online will be out so im looking forward to these two mmo's for now I play Guild Wars and Star Wars Galaxies.
