It got rejected ohrribly in my school. The boy who was trying to get one started with a petition/flyer with signatures on it had the paper ripped up and crumbled in his face by another student, male, who is, I'm assuming, homophobic. I mean, c'mon, it's not like you have to go to the club, but you could at least be fair and let the gay/bi/curious have their own place to talk.

nah, my school doesn't have one. We pretty much stay in our own little group, everybody knows who were are and most of them pretty much accpet that.Well that accept that as long as we show no public affection for the ones we love at school, otherwise there will be trouble Every once in awhile we have our problems(esp. Guys). I remember one time, some chick thought that she would be tough and stand up to all the gay haters and show affection to the one she loved(which was a girl, of course) and she was harrassed until school let out and threated to be raped by all the guys who hate gays. Yeah, it gets pretty bad at my schoo and yet the principal won't do jack s**t about it, because he hates us too.

My school definitely doesn't have one. Thats probably because very few people at my school admit to being gay, only my friends know. My school is full of Dumbasses and homophobic Christians. 99% of the school is the latter one, or both. Maybe in High School there is one, but at my school right now, none that I know of.

My high school had it and here is the reason why. One of the members on our student council was gay and very open about it. Him and his boyfriend(who was my friend) started it and the school allowed it. There is even a picture of them in my year book. I didn't really go because at the time I didn't think of anything but I knew most of the people in there and some aren't Bi or gay at all. They went to show support for their friends. That was one good thing about my high school.

My school has one. It's fairly well accepted, though I did hear some people insulting it. I've actually been meaning to go to a meeting, but I never got a chance. I suppose I'll have to wait 'til next year...

No, My Doesn't have one and never will. I'am really into Drama and were about to do a play based on the life of gay teengaer who was killed just because he was gay. I was excited to adition for this play. Though we had do some other play. My Drama teacher told me that the princpal and the school's coucil made us cancel the production simple because they didn't want people to think our school was "a gay school." This just really ticked me off...

Actually there are laws that say if anyone in the school wants to start a GSA and they have a teacher as the sponsor they are required to allow the creation of one. you can find information about it, i think, on www.outproud.org but im not sure where on the site it is, i know its on there though

I live in tenessee, so, yea, a gay club, that will never, never!, happen here. The majority of tenessee hates our kind. There might be a couple of gay bars in nashville, but thats it. It sucks here. im moving to holland where i can smoke hash and marry who i want ,damn christians. Risked my life just by coming out of the closet.
