where can I get the horse that the mayor was talking about?

Go to the Green Ranch (Go out of your farm and take a left) and walk into the fenced field. Ann and her dad will give you a pony. BUt it was to be within your first Spring. I married Ann. Then Karen. Then Popuri. Then Elli. You shouldn't marry Karen, she's obsessed with drinking. But everyone else is fine in my opinion.

Yes, I only commented with my opinion. I mean, I liked Karen at first, but then I sort of grew to like the other girls.

It all depends on what you plan on doing with the farm.
Each girl does something diffrent on your farm

Here, I got you a list of what your wife does on the farm (Where I got it from)

If you don't want to get chickens, Karen and Elli aren't right for you.

I personally chose Popuri.
However Maria is a good one, if you have chickens or not.

Also, if you have a storm, Ann makes sure all the animals in the barn get fed.

Tip for wooing Karen. She LOVES your dog. Even though she makes disparaging comments, if you show her your dog repeatedly--and have the patience-you can get her to pink-heart status in less than a day, AND if you get the kitchen quickly enough, can marry her before the end of Spring. :3

Ann is fond of Corn, and Wool especially. She's pretty difficult compared to the other girls, and if you marry her Cliff leaves the village. Just so you know. :3
