Anyone played Star Ocean till the end of time? I find it to be a rather good game....Im not that far yet but its a nice alternative to Xenosaga...except there are no Gnosis or androids or anything....and the battle system is completely different...but its still pretty good...and the price just dropped dramatically at gamestop from 50$ to 20 ((which i was waiting for)) discuss star ocean....dscuss other alternatives to xeno's ((gears and saga) and discuss how hard it is to stay committed to games, i work a lot and im only 13 and i make major bucks so im always buying new games....hardly playing the others at all.....i got Xeno 2 for 50$ right when it came out and im only at the part where they all go somewhere after they go in momos brain if youre familiar with that....the only games ive managed to stay commited long enough to are Eve of Extinction and Xeno I....but that may be due to an evil memory card wipe out...losing all my data due to an evil PS2 underground demo disc.....((but i got a free ATV game for it neway)) P.S. I know i talk waaay to much....its how i vent....

Wow. I beat Star Ocean: Till the End of Time sometime in the middle of December. The battle system is awesome and it gives you the freedom of movement. If you set your characters's attacks to your tastes, they could end up dominating the battlefield. In the beginning of the game, the story was a bit dull... Once you arrive on the planet Elicoor II, the game's main storyline is set into motion. I love the entire plot, but the character development can be a bit lacking. As for my battle party of choice, I mainly used Albel, Maria, and Cliff. They make an awesome combination once they have their upgraded weapons and are at their max level. Personally, I liked the battle system, the graphics, and some fragments of the story. The only thing I didn't like about the game was how lame some of the characters' lines were. xp Ummm..... ALBEL ROX!!!! blaugh ........That's all.

Albel Nox, ROCKS! 3nodding
For most of the battles I stuck with Fayt,Cliff, and Nel. sweatdrop I didn't really use anyone except other than Albel. Roger,Pepita,Maria,Sophia and others were out of the question for me 'cause they were low levels and I didn't really feel like strengthing them (at that time sweatdrop ).
The story was kind of boring at the beginin' just because nothing was really happening, but it was still interesting none-the-less. But yeah, it really does start to get better and better along the way. I'm sad by the way it ended sad

One of the best stories, everything is done like a book. If you go into the dictionary area, which is like the databases in Xenosaga 1, everything is explained. The background of each character, all of the races, planets, and important events, even their way of faster-than-light-speed travel, which is good, but not as good Xenosaga's. Everything that seems unnatural (almost) is supported with real facts, like the fourth-dimension stuff, and the space-time shifting. And the ability to use symbology, (rune-ether).

ARGH!!!!!! scream scream scream How do you beat the Air Dragon Crosell?! I can only beat him the first time, he always kills me the second time! Any tips? (Turns out the Ankh of Dismissal won't work on bosses). The computer is really really horrible, they don't back away at all, but that might be my fault, maybe I'll change the settings and try again, crap forgot about that. It would be much better if I could beat him like this: http://www.cad-comic.com/?t=archives&date=2005-05-09EDIT: All right, beat it, but I was cheap as hell.

Man... Not to be mean or anything, but if you're having that much trouble just beating one boss, then you're gonna have a hard time later on in the game. There are loads of bosses to come and those nasty Executioners can really get on your nerves if you're at a low level. I suggest you get up to level 45 before you leave Moonbase. There's gonna be a hell lot of fighting to come, so you'd better stock up on items too.

I had a little trouble with that Proclaimer in Moonbase. Let's just say I didn't really synthesize my weapons and armor in the beginning. sweatdrop When that stupid Proclaimer spun aroud, I took massive amounts of damage. There's no way you can get out of that attack unless you turn tail and run out of the circle or have the No Guard skill equipped. Damn Proclaimer. stressed
