Yes because a national holiday celebrates your war heroes, which most people use to slack off, where as we have V.E. day, which includes a 5 minute silence, and everyone wearing poppies.
(Starter for ten, no confering, americans only, tell me the importance of the popies. your 3 five point questions, when is V.E. day, What does V.E. stand for and which popular quiz show am I emulating?)
