Welcome To The Arena

Le Arena Intro and T.O.C.

Yes, the Arena. This is where the GNA holds its spars and even guild wars.

The purpose of the arena: The arena is a place to hold exams and private spars so the dojo wouldn't be 'damaged' in any little student/sensei quabbles.

Once a spar is done with, it will be locked upon request of both sparring parties (in the thread). This Arena can also hold Guild Wars of sorts if we wanted to.

There are a few rules that must be witheld no matter what, so read carefully and memorize these by heart.

General Rules

These rules are straight up and I won't be explaining them in much detail unless I need to since you guys should know this stuff.

1. No Godmodding.
2. No killing unless it is stated within the first rules of the fight.
3. State when a fight is Canon or not. Canon means that this affects the character all over. When you're killed with this as a rule, you're just plain dead to everyone.
4. Use the character you would use if you were in GNA (GNA members only).
5. Do not interfere with a fight unless something goes wrong with the fight as in a person is about to kill someone without their permission.
6. Keep all OOC in the OOC bar unless you are the people fighting.
7. This goes with the above rule, you may only post (if you are a spectator) to say that you posted something in the OOC bar.

One on One Fight Rules

Simple as it is, it's only one on one. If you want two on one, you have to go under Team Fights.

Follow General Rules, Roleplaying Rules and Arena Rules.

Team Rules

The genetics of the team can only have at most three bloodline members, this also includes rare abilities that others can't have. This means you have to set up your teams evenly and logically.

The most members a team can have is 5 members, that's the max. The lowest is a weird combo of 1 person against 2 people.

From the beginning, state who posts when on each team and intergrate it with the other team. If I catch any of you posting out of turn without a good reason I'll kick your a**. I also want to see the turns on the first team posts.

Expanding from the last rule, The first two posts must be from the two leaders of the team. That's up to you to choose who would be leader or not.

Prior to the team battle starting, there shoud be a turn list created and placed in the first post.

Follow General Rules and Roleplaying Rules.

Roleplaying Rules

Information: Do NOT apply OOC Knowledge to IC Knowledge. Your character cannot read minds and will not know everything about any other character. You can learn over time about various things for other characters, but that is over time and having some experiences with that person. Or you know another character that has information about them...
Powergaming: ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powergaming ) Simple. DO NOT Powergame. It is just very annoying one posts actions in which is far more then their character can actually do. Try not to do this in battle or even in normal training.
AMP: We follow all guidelines of the Anti-Munch Project (http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/redirect.php?r=http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12151073), and you should too. (What's a munch?)(http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/redirect.php?r=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munchkin_%28role-playing_games%29)
Posts: When you devote yourself to an action, you can not take it back. No changing posts or abruptly cancelling your previous actions.
Twinking: ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinking ) Don't do it, ever.

Arena Rules

Fight types:
Hand-to-Hand: Strictly using two arms, two legs. No wings, tails, weapons, powers (elements), anything if it can possibly be held back/taken off. More or less 'as humans do'.
Unarmed Melee: Same as hand-to-hand, except if they have extra appendages, tails or so, they are welcome to use them, so long as there are no elements or weapons involved, and things such as claws and spines are not used as weapons.
Weapons Match: Anything, as long as there are no elements used.
Elemental Match: Same as Unarmed Melee, though elements are allowed, but not weapons.
Full-On: Anything goes.

Example:
-Hand-to-Hand Spar
-First Blood Weapons Match
-Unarmed Melee Battle
