This rp is for anyone who feels the gumption to want to take on rping with Mozenrath. >D
As the sun rose high in the sky one faitfull day, the world seemed to shiver from the comeing of winter and possibly...just quite possibly from the arrival of a new stallion to the Soquili lands. A cunning and deceptive, creature he was. Clad in dark clothes which make his pale white face stand out like a sore thumb. But this didn't bother the stallion as it was the way they dressed from where he originated. The Soquili he had been watching since he had arrived in these lands seemed, awkward in their unclothes state.
Most of the females running around with nothing on but a few feathers and bands around their legs. How...unconservative. Nothing left to the imagination. But that was the least of this stallions thoughts for the time being.
For now, the opportunity to rule these lands ran rampant in his mind as he walked along the rivers edge. His long black tail trailing behind him, the golden trim of his cape glistening in the sunlight as did the red jewel upon his turban. Dark, black eyes that showed no remorse, no inkling of compassion scanned the world around him. Quite an interesting place, non the less. Though he knew there might be...some resistance to his plans. He would make sure to seek out and use whatever power he could to rule this land with a tight grip around it's throat.
So much to do...so little time, it seemed.

Princess, taking a short time away from the herd to graze alone--after all, Helaku and Halloween hardly needed watching--raised her head and snorted softly, ears back. Her nostrils flared as she took in the scent of the Soquili pacing the river's edge. Something about it reminded her of the deserts she hailed from with a sharp pang that made her flatten her ears even more. Why this stallion that was, if not from her homeland, from a place that was similar in nature, in harshness, in the sheer neccessity of trying to simply survive?

Mozenrath continued on his way along the water's edge. His black eyes dead set on the trail infront of him. Lost for so long in his thoughts, that's all he could think about. The presance of the mare nearby didn't accur to him nor did it catch his interest enough for him to even realize she was there. "My, my. How sad this is really....it's about as dead as it can be around here. Oh wait...I know of a place that's deader..." A small dark smirk appeard on his pale lips as he continued on. What an interesting little thought he had...

Princess's mouth twisted in disdain. She'd forgotten how utterly arrogant stallions could be...she'd been away from home long indeed. With a flick of her tail, she stepped squarely in the stallion's path, practically daring him to do something about it. She was no demure, meek mare. Such didn't survive well.

He snapped out of his thoughts as soon as his body came to a complete hault. A mare had stepped into his path, blocking his way of passage. Aha! So there were others around. Good, good. This would work perfectly.
Giveing her a charming and slightly innocent smile, he tilted his head to the side. "I'm sorry. But it seems you are in my way of travel. Is there some reason as to why? Is there something over in that direction that might attack me?" He blinked his eyes and tried to peer over her head slightly. The curtain of cloth around the bottom of his turban falling back against his neck as he did so.

Princess rolled her eyes. "No. But you do happen to be wandering near my herd lands, and thus I have reason to ask you what you're doing around here." He was acting rather dim now, but she knew better...if he was from a homeland like hers the stupid didn't live long. Even the cherished war mares of the native people were required to be clever, strong, and swift.

He figured his, quite, demure deception wasn't going to work on his hauty mare. Lidding his black eyes, he stared her down. "And I care why? If it really is your herd's land shouldn't you put up a sign or something so people know where it is? Or atleast be there to keep others away?" He flicked his tail slowly, keeping his annoyance in check for the moment. "Besides, what exactly makes it your's? Did your stallions tinkle on the trees like wild dogs to mark your territory? Ha! That would be quite amuseing to see..."

She met his stare with a slight sneer. Yes, another haughty, arrogant stallion. "I am here, am I not? And most are not so...stupid...as to blithely wander about without knowing where herd lands are. What makes it mine? I am here, I have claimed it, and I have the strength to defend it."

Mozenrath mentally sighed. Boy this one was dense. "Well....if you hadn't of happened to notice. I'm not familiar with these lands as I just arrived here a few days ago. So excuse me for treadpassing on your precious land..." In the back of his mind he smirked and a part of his mind added 'that will be part of my kingdom soon enough...'

"And assumeing that EVERYONE must know the so called territories of others as soon as they arrive shows much arrogance. How can you expect others to seek out such information when they don't even realize there are such things here? Hmmm? Explain that miss? Get off your pedistal and realize the facts." His tail lashed about, ruffling his cape more as his dark eyebrows furrowed. "When someone comes to the land as a new member you great them with open arms not hostility because they didn't have the knowledge of other's territory when they didn't realize there was such a thing here. So shut your mouth or realize the truth. I won't have others comeing to me and telling me I should know such things when I didn't realize nor did I think there was such a thing as 'claiming' land that was free for all here."

"Not neccissarily, no. But other's don't go rubbing it in other's faces that it's their land and that others should know where the territories are when they are new to the land. And...it's clearly marked. I wasn't sure if the same rules applied here, but it doesn't matter anyway because obviously I should of done my research before I even arrived to this land and knew how it all went before I even met anyone. How stupid of me. And do forgive me if I don't feel like going and sniffing a tree to see where your stallions have pissed..." His black eyes lidded slightly as he spoke.
"If you were a good leader of a herd...you wouldn't come out with hooves flying at new people you've never seen before. I'd figure you'd want to talk to others to try and recruit them into your herd to make it strong. But by seeing your actions I can tell you are nothing more than a arrogant and belligerent mare who doesn't know how to communicate with others well. Poor leadership in my eyes." With a flick of his tail he moved around her and proceeded on his original path. "I have no time for the likes of you. Come back and talk with me perhaps when you've grown up little filly and when you have actually become a "model" leader."
He turned his head as he stopped for a second to look at her. "As for your land, I really couldn't care. I'll go where I please. Maybe if you had talked a little better I would of taken it into consideration of changeing my direction, but you can forget that. Maybe if your stallions marked your herd lands with more masculine piss other's would be weary. Or...they'd stay away from the disgusting smell and leave you alone all together." Turning his head around, he continued on his way. Careing not of any reprocussions to his words.
