TEAM 0WNAGE HEADQUARTERS - OUTSKIRTS OF BARTON

Main Compound: A large compound sits on the outskirts of Barton surrounded by a densely forested area about 10 miles away from the main city. This four level building would seem like some sort of secret military facility to any driving by on a sunny day on the old road in front of it. The main building, a large rectangular structure, is lined by windows at the ground, second, and third levels, large blast-shields hidden beneath the surface with the ability to be activated at any time to shield any exposed area such as these windows. The entirety of the compound itself is protected by a large wall, the only conventional entrance being a large sliding door at the front of the gate with an embedded security device. A large garage sits in back, various vehicles inside ranging from personal means of conveyance as well as those specialized.

Outside: Upon entering the facility through the main gate, the visitor would first spy a long drive/walkway leading straight to the front door of the main building. Two impressively crafted fountains sit in the well-kept grass of the large lawn at both sides of the walkway midway to the main building. A large gym can be seen further down on the west side, and on the eastern side is the large warehouse. The forest starts at about 100 feet to either side of the buildings, the lawns wrapping the full way around the complex.

The Gym: Known to often enjoy the act of playing more than any type of work, there are various accomidations for the 0wnage crew such as a large gym which contains any type of exercise equipment one could hope for along with a large swimming pool inside, showers, a boxing ring and pretty much anything you'd expect from a nice, multi-room gym. It also contains a virtual training simulation room with various levels of difficulty and all types of scenarios.

The Warehouse: A large two-story warehouse where various mechanical projects are being worked on. Also functions as a means of storage for various things because well... Ya gotta put your stuff somewhere!

Inside the main building: The innards of the main HQ presents a very posh and sterile envionment, almost hospital like.

First floor(Ground level): White floors, various vending machines and rooms all serving a purpose of their own line the walls. The laboratory, main cafeteria and kitchen and TV room are all scattered about. The meeting room is in the northern part of the first floor, and behind that the main office.

User Image

Second Floor: Contains all residences along with a mini cafeteria for those too lazy to venture downward. While many choose to keep residences of their own, each member and well, anyone who needs a place to crash has(or can have if needed) a room of their own in this dormitory-like section. Floor also contains a recreation room with an arcade and various other games such as table tennis

User Image

Third Floor: Not really used for anything at the moment and currently undergoing renovations after an uxexplained explosion.

The Roof: A basic roof only accessible by stairway. Pretty much a basic rooftop aside from the helipad on the southern end.

Underground: Below ground, underneath the main building is a military-like war room which houses the latest in security, surveillance, and global map technology. In the center there is a large circular table where all the important meetings are held. To access this area one must first have clearance and pass a voice recognition or retinal scan through the device in front of the secret elevator hidden inside the main office on the first floor. Inside this hidden level are also things better kept secret.

More to come.

Dust flies upward from the back tire of a black motorcycle as it speeds along the old road. The dusty boot of it's rider would come to sit upon the ground as the machine came to a stop in front of the gate.

It's rider steps off, his visage hidden by a black helmet. A few slow steps later the man's hand would reach out to touch the gate, dragging gloved fingers along it's white surface. He paused as he came to the console. Imputting a 6-digit code. Another pause followed, then the gate would open, it's two doors seperating slowly.

"Still the same..." the man said to himself as he stared forward at the long concrete road before him, his eyes stopping on the building in the distance.

He'd walk to his motorcycle, mount up, and continue up the road, coming to a stop in front of the main building and kicking down his kickstand.

The man got off and stood at 5'10". He wore a red leather jacket and jeans and upon removing his helmet revealed long pink strands of hair under a black bandana. His deep red eyes gazed up at the building. A bit taken aback by nostalgia, he soon shook his head and at that moment, reaching to his jacket's pocket and flipping out the handles of his sunglasses and slipping them upward slong the bridge of his nose; the familiar smirk he often wore spreading across his thin lips as he looked to the entrance. He broke into a confident stride after setting his helmet between his bike's handlebars.

Entering the building, Crim` looked around. Was anybody home? He'd find out.

Kat sat in the rafters of the hall, the only evidence of her presence being the yellow tail which hung down below them. The short girl was obviously distracted, writing in a small notebook with a trident leaning against a post beside her. So distracted she failed to notice Crim's entry.

Crim` walked to the cafeteria, buckeled boots clanking a bit on the cold floors. He'd pass under the catgirl while not noticing her there at all as he had a habit of not looking up when he probably should. He moved into the cafeteria area, grabbing a chilled mocha coffee drink from the mini-fridge. He popped the top and took a sip, looking around again afterwards.

"Now where could everyone be?" he'd ask as if half-expecting an answer from somewhere.

The question registered with Kat, and she answered without ever looking up from her notebook, unaware she'd said anything.

"They're in their rooms. And a couple are in the gym." Her pencil flew across the paper, creating schemes and plots against her long and increasing list of enemies.

A voice...

A VOICE?!

Woman's voice... Familiar.

"Who said that?!" said the man in a jump, turning around and scanning the room.

The silence was cut through by this voice's sudden explaination.

Crim's startled reaction snapped Kat out of her concentration as her head jerked up from her book. In a heartbeat, the book was gone, and in her hand instead was her trident as she slowly stalked through the rafters towards the voice. She wasn't sure who it was, or why they had said something, but she was curious now.

Now standing, nothing of hers hung below the rafters.

Hm, something was needed to draw out this person...

The man tossed the bottlecap of his caffiene-filled beverage up into the air a few times, catching it with his right hand then throwing it out into the hallway that Katastrophy lurked above. It would skid across the floor, causing a noise. Crim` watched, leaning backward a bit and peeking around the cafeteria's wall into the hallway.

Seven was asleep as this stuff was going on. But, it was likely this wouldn't stay true. The voices were loud, and he was in a cot that he hand hung in the rafters. Seeing as he was asleep, he had no way of knowing whther or not he was in the way of the goings ons.

Kat watched the small object skid across the floor below. Someone obviously believed she was a wild animal. Then again... Her ears twitched hopefully.

With a dive that ended in a cartwheel, Kat had thrown herself from the rafters at the bottlecap, and sat crouched over it, both hands clamped tightly over it. Her tail flicked about behind her as she peeked hopefully into her hands.

At the sight of the bottlecap, Kat regained control of herself, and whipped around to face Crim. Her trident, having been close at hand, was held, and pushing up with her hands off the floor she crouched on her feet facing him. She coughed gently, ignoring the short loss of control brought on by her cat-like instinct.

Crim` looked at Kata, still peeking from behind the wall seperating the cafeteria and the hallway.

"Y'know... I somehow expected you'd be here." he said, taking another sip of his drink.

"Nice poker... Thing." he would add, in reference to her trident.

After a month of bedding down where ever it was relatively sheltered (from the elements and from people who might not like her sleeping in their space), sleeping in a actual bed was a luxury Mori was very grateful for.

However, in terms of urgency, the rumbling in her stomach outweighed staying in the squishy cozy-ness of her bed. And so, she climbed out of bed, threw on a baggy pair of white drawstring pants and a plain dark blue t-shirt, and set out for the downstairs kitchen where there was sure to be something in the fridge she could pillage.

"Thank you." Kat replied. "I've been meaning to practice with it so I have something a little closer ranged." She stood up and dusted herself off. She planted the trident pointed end down and leaned up against it, peering curiously at Crim. "That was a nasty trick with the bottle cap." She said with a pout.

Crim` shrugged to Katastrophy, walking toward her and dropping his empty bottle in a trashcan.

"Well, it worked... Nasty or not." he said, leaning against the wall and looking at the trident the catgirl leaned against. "Ah I see. A polearm... Well at least you'll be able to outrange people with that... They leave nasty scars too."

He then took a moment to look her up and down.

"...Nice outfit."

((I assume you mean the current one?))

"Thanks. I found this hiding in my drawers somewhere." She leaned a little closer on her pitchfork, and brushed her hair out of her eyes.

"So what are you up to? And why were you talking to yourself?"
