I hate plates. Marching cymbals is completely optional. I don't see the point of them, anyway, the parts could easily be covered in the pit. It's like battery for beginners. rolleyes

Only cymbols we used this year were the ones that attach to the snares. But I don't know if we have the hand ones, because I'm in guard. I just felt like sharing.

Aww are you saying pit isn't as good as battery? It's just as exciting in my opinion because you actually make MUSIC.
Haha.
Anyway, we are also cymbal-line-less. Our captionhead is planning on having a HUGE drumline next year though.. with 8 snares, 5 tenors, 5 basses, and 3 cymbals, so.. hopefully it will all work out x]

Hey, no downing pit. Anyway. Everyone in our band appriciates our cymbols. There good, they help give us a louder... well, sound and they help with visuals. We have 8 cymbols. And were gonna have that many in winter drumline. Heh considering we got best drumline at all of our compititions. I guess its not that bad of an idea to have cymbols huh.

Um... Two years ago we had a cymbol line. That was rare too. We just needed it for that show, and we haven't had cymbols in forever. Yeah. So... I guess I'm cymbol...less...

We don't have one simply because there aren't enough people. So we have a cymbal line that we just don't use for the shows. I'm in it.
