Kiua walked down the halls of the temple she was looking for someplace nice and warm to relax. Something with a delicate and nice scent to it.
She hadn't been feeling the best as of late, stomach cramps here and there. She couldn't understand it as nothing in her diet had deviated enough to effect her in such a way. Sure, she was starting to bulk up trying to make a winter coat for when she and Chael would venture up north... But that couldn't have done it... Could it?
She was looking for some place with very nicely fragrant flowers. Her father had them once... Roses. Yes, that was it, roses. She hadn't seen a single rose since she was here. They would be nice, the sweet soft smell filling her nose...
She took a step and swore she could almost smell them. The roses. She took a few more steps relishing in the thought of it only to realise it wasn't a lie. Her nose wasn't decieving her! She took more steps following the smell to it's source.
She soon found a small niche in the temple that led out into a small courtyard. All around her were fragrant roses of every shape size and color. They were so beautiful and fragrant she could feel a tear at the edge of her eye. She gave a soft sigh and went over to a peach colored rose taking in it's smell and lying down next to it. She did so carefully as her stomach was still in a bit of pain, but the flowers made it better.
"Ahhh...This is nice."

He had finished his work for the day, clearing out any trespassing weeds, carefully watching each bush, and removing any dead of discolored leaves, leaving the outside garden looking at beautiful as it couple possibly be. He smiled softly, feeling very tired, but proud. His goddess was happy with the work, causing the roses to almost sparkle and gleam brightly under the sun. He had just thrown the dead leaves into the compost pile he had been making, and was heading back for a nice nap under a rose bush, when he saw someone already enjoying the garden. Not expecting it he let out a nervous squeak and pulled himself back behind the wall “sorry” he said with out thinking, he did not want to disturb her, since she seemed to be enjoying it. something he always liked to see.

She looked up at this new malu. She had never seen him before, but such a thing as that was nothing new. Since she had found Chael, her confidence had built but not too much. "Oh...I'm terribly sorry! Is this...your garden?" She got up, a little slowly, but she got up all the same and looked at the flowers. She spoke softly. "They're... so lovely...." She smelled one again loving the smell. It was just like the rose her father had brought home for her mother one day.
She wondered how much time and care this malu had put into this garden. Must have spent all day on it surely! But she thought it was worth it. It was so gorgeous, not a leaf out of place and not a weed to be seen. She pondered on the thought of what sort of things did he use particularly to help make these roses grow and bloom.

“Oh, y you don’t have to get up” he said poking his head around the corner. He could see she look a little uneasy, as if she was in discomfort. “Please… I… I have the garden outside for others to enjoy” Ears flattened back, as they always did when he was nervous. He had a pink rose slipped behind his ear this day. Still pretty much remaining behind the wall. ”t thank you” he said ears perking up a little at the complement to the Roses “do you… like Roses?” he aske timidly

"Oh thank you." She slowly lowered herself back down. She couldn't understand why she was going so slowly, other than the dull pain and slight nausea she felt.
"I see..." She loved the fragrances, the subtle changes in the different roses scent. She glanced back at him. "Your welcome. Your the first malu I've seen who loves flowers. I love all sorts of plants and anything of the sky. Should I ever have a journal one day... To record my findings of what I know. I shall have to add you and your garden in here. It is well worth mentioning."
Laying down was sooooo comfortable. She sat in the shade out of the heat, as her fur was quite thick now from trying to slowly bulk up for a trip to the north which was scheduled for a few days.

He blushed a little, her words where kind, and very flattering. He lingered there for a moment, glancing around to see if others where around. “My Goddess would be honored” he said. He was becoming less nervous around her. She was not getting to close like the other female that visited, and she was not intimidating like most males where. And he was happy she was enjoying the roses, ”do you grow flowers?” he asked stepping out a little more. “Um.. Oh!” he pressed his ears back “I I’m sorry, I didn’t ask your name. I’m Vivaldi… c can I ask yours?”

"Mine would be too." She sighed and breathed in the flowers. She much more relaxed now. The flowers helped a great deal, and the company was kind. She was content and happy, and there was something that she liked about this malu. She could see them becoming close friends.
"Back home on the East plains, my father and I had a garden very similiar to this. But it wasn't limited to roses. Though my father knew roses were my mother's favorite so he made sure to have a large section of them." She smiled as she watched him come out a bit more from his hiding place.
"It's perfectly alright! Oh of course, I'm sorry! It's Kiua, a pleasure to meet you Vivaldi." She stored the name away in her mind, he was shy and reminded her of herself before she really warmed up to a person. Her moods had been off recently, she didn't know why. She sometimes said things she didn't mean so she found her self not socializing as much as before and was being extra careful about what she said.

Vivaldi was touched by the story, he was not sure why exactly, but hearing about others that care for, and loved roses, it just warmed him. He blinked a couple of times, avoiding having his eyes tearup He ran her name though his head a couple of times, he knew he had heard it somewhere. “Oh… y your Kiua… I’ve heard of you from Amadeus” he swallowed he help clear his throat. He knew he didn’t have reason to be nervous. but he had only had children to socialize with, he didn’t quite know how to talk to adults.

She looked at him. "You know Amadeus?" She smiled, she liked him, he was sweet and she knew his head was in the right place. His fur pattern was very cute too.
"He is really nice young one." She felt tired, which was no suprise in the nice warmth of the air, and the smell of roses perfuming and delighting her senses. Aswell as the other thing, but she couldn't place what that was just yet.
"I hope he didn't exagerrate anything...." She disliked it when others claimed her to be higher or mightier than she was. She hated such deceptions.

“I know him” Vivialdi answered “I pretty much raised him, since he was really little.” He shook his head softly “he spoke fondly of you. His friend Chael is very lucky to have found you” Vivaldi flushed a little again, not really used to talking this much, and this casually, he wonderd if he was talking to much. “Y you don’t look so well… a are you alright?” He could tell his Goddess liked her, from the comforting look on her face; the rose Godess was carefully caressing the Maluess with warm, genital fragrance, letting the rose colors reflect beautifully in Kua’s coat. Vivaldi had only seen the Goddess do this for one other Malu besides him, and since he had met little Bianca, much thanks to her the roses where his beautiful

Kiua looked up at him with joy in her eyes. "My, you two must be very close! He's been brought up sooo well." She listened to him speak of Chael and she felt a small swell in her heart, but she merely smiled and nodded. "I'm glad too."
She blushed, as she disliked having people worry over her, and it was nothing anyways! There was nothing to worry about, just a few cramps here and there. Nothing abnormal. Right? "Oh... I'm fine. Just a little sore is all." She loved the garden, and now knew she wanted to help it prosper. She would research some good mulch possibly for the roses. Something...Oo! Maybe something that could keep the weeds away! That would be nice, and less work for poor Vivaldi. He spent all day caring for the flowers, but she wouldn't wish for it to come to the point were he would exhaust himself! Her mood had lightened and her worries merely lingered in the back of her head, as she deamt up ways to help this garden and how she wanted to record everything. She wondered if the temples had any paprus to make paper. She hadn't had the time to look since she had gotten here.

Vivaldi blinked a couple of time. Looking down at the ground a bit bashfully, “H he’s a lot like his father was,” he shifted a paw watching it as if interested “though I’m happy to see he’s grown into a kind Malu”
He glanced up at her, hearing out his discomfort. ”Oh… well… um if you like… t there is some Rose water in the shrine just down that hall” he motioned to the door way not to far from where they where “I usually find it help…w would you like me to bring you some?” Knowing she was in discomfort, even the small walk to the shine would not be very enjoyable. He wanted her to enjoy the roses.

She nodded wondering what happened to poor Amadeus' father. She didn't say anything though and nodded again. "He must have been quite the gentleman. And I'm glad too. Everyone here is nice for the most part. I worry about that baby though...." Her mind wandered momentarily to the small child that was in the care of the grey malu that dark day that seemed so long ago. The evil seemed to eminate from that malu and the child as well. She feared for the small things well being.
"Oh that would be lovely." She didn't want to burden Vivaldi with getting it for her, but she thought this was selfish personally, but she honestly didn't want to get up. Her ears flattened at this thought, as she wanted least of all things to be selfish. Though... She knew the pain that dwelled in the back of her conscience would return if she got up. "...That would be great Vivaldi. Thank you so much, when I feel better I'll make it up to you." She forced herself to relax more and closed her eyes taking in a deep breathe of the perfumed air around her. It was so calming and refreshing.

Vivaldi shifted slightly, looking a bit uncomfortable thinking back on Amadeus’ father “ah… Ansel did a lot of good… though, he had a different concept of Justice then Amadeus does,” at them mention of another baby her cocked his ears forward. Not sure what she was talking about. He desided to ask her after he returned with some water for her. Disappearing into the temple for a moment. He made his way to the Rose Goddess’ shrine, in the corner where his small collection of water was trickling in from the underground. That flowed off into small streams down the rows of roses. Rose pettles he had placed there floating elegantly in it. He picked up a stone bowl in his muzzle he had found while roaming the aria close to his shrine. Dipping it in to get some of the rose Water. Making sure to get some of the petals along with it. He made his way back, carefully as to not spill any, and placed it down in front for her. “feel free to eat the petals,” Retreating back by some more of the roses and settled down in there shade, letting her drink then asking the question when she finished. “What baby are you talking about?”
(Vivladi’s rose water was treated by him with the Rose petals. Is has a mild sweet taste of roses, so its like drinking in the sent of roses XD)

She didn't further ask anymore about Amadeus' father, it didn't seem appropriate, as it seemed to be a sensitive topic.
She relaxed and calmly waited, once again allowing her eyes to go off to the layers and layers of beautiful roses that filled their area with their gentle embrace and soothing scent. When he returned with the drink she drank the water as daintily as she could, not wanting to spill any herself. She left the rose petals for the time being, choosing to eat them last. The water was sweet and elegant and as fragrantly delicious as the smell gracing her nose with it's presence. The soothing roses took it's work, and even though she knew it wouldn't really kick in so soon, just the thought it would put her at ease.
After a few laps of water she looked up again. "The day I met Chael, he was going to get a clothe to clean off a malu. The malu's name is....Loki I think it was. And though he was tired when I saw him he just... eminated evil. That night I met him, there was a child with him. Hardly more than a baby. She wouldn't leave his side and seemed very close to him. Like he was a father. It worries me that the child may become like this father figure of hers...." She shook her head worried. Even though she knew she wouldn't be able to stop her children if they should choose a path, she would raise them, and hopefully guide them to something better.
