I have had the new Final Fantasy for about three days and have played about 15 hours so far. I friggin heart it.
Opinions?
What do you think of the battle system?
Why are all the other characters more interesting than the main character... that seems to be a FF trend.
Also, Lord Vayne is hot. Too bad im gonna have to kill him.

I'm liking the fighting system so far, though having to go out and Buy everything is kind of getting to be a pain...Still, the gambet system is interesting and needed in a game like this. Took a bit to get used to, but it's a lot more entertaining.

easily the best one so far. the fighting system is phenomonal, the liscence point idea is frakin brilliant, the characters are great!!!!!
everything about this game kicks a**.

I love Final Fantasy 12 so far it has a wonderful storyline, great characters, classic music tracks from the first couple of games on the snes. Square did it again, while the battle system is diffrent I find that I really do enjoy it alot.

Took a bit to get used to, but it's a lot more entertaining. i agree that having to buy everything is pretty annoying but its also more realistic. Im seeing a lot of Kingdom hearts influance in this game especially in the battle system and the music. I really like the gambit system it makes battle still turn based in some ways but is more like real time in others.

Well I just bought the collector's editon yesterday and I'm going to start playing it soon (like right after I'm done here on Gaia lol). I was so excited about getting it!
Oh and don't be afraid to post things about the game or questions in here, but if you do make sure the owner of this topic puts *Spoilers* in the title, for those people who haven't played it yet. wink

TheKeen Awesome game, all the characters are so likable too thats the thing though... im not really sure who i should hate. All the characters seem to likeable that im not sure who the enemy is.

Yeah, I want it so badly but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. crying I can't imagine it'll be easy to find in stores right around the holiday sales...

Nothing is easy to find in stores around the holidays, particularly this month (providing they get release on time) with the release of the Wii and the PS3

Honestly, I don't hate any of the characters yet. Which is strange, because every FF game I've ever picked up I've known right away who I was going to hate and who I was going to love. ... This one is different. But I like it that way.
Sadly, I haven't been able to play it as much as I would like to. School, Guitar Hero, and work have been getting in the way. Oh ... friends too. xd

I got it last week but I don't play on weekdays so I've only played about 11 hours. T.T I got the normal version for the actual game but got the limited edition for the strategy guide.
The characters are all really nice. Although I'm starting to think Penelo's a little on the whiny side, although only a little bit. But, besides that, very good game. Wonderful battle system, love the music, and the voice-acting is pretty good.
