http://www.shortperiod.com/

I just saw a commercial for this and I have to admit, I was intrigued by the idea of a 3 day period. I am currently on Ortho-Tri (which I wasn't on before, so it's new to me) and I know my body is still getting back to the swing of things, so I don't think I'm going to switch pills anytime soon.

But I was just wondering if anyone's heard of this, using it, anything? I don't know how new it is, I will wait until more comes out about it.

I haven't been on this newer version of the pill, but 10 years ago, I was on their normal-length cycle one. My NP put me on it because it had the lowest dosage of hormones out of all the pills.

It was great when I wasn't sexually active: had almost no period at all to speak of. It was so light that calling it 'spotting' would be laughable. Wasn't so nice once I was though. I had many a pregnancy scare on it.

I prefer being on a higher dosage one so my cycle is more noticable now.

Yeah, that's a really great point, I didn't think of. I'm just not so sure I'm happy with the Ortho Tri, I feel crampy (I mean nothing I can't handle of course, just annoying) quite often and not just before my period is to start. I just know that without the pill I have a week long heavy period, and so far on the ortho, I get pretty close to it.
