Falassion House of Healing
A place of magic calm, Fae work here to cater to the visitors every need, though respect to the serving staff is suggested, they are Fae, and they do tend to get a bit snarky if crossed.
This is like a spa for Pae'il. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come here for a little pampering.

The twin devils and their 'current' caretaker had found their way to the Falassion healing house. The twins could sense that the man was worried, and was looking to get some more things done in his 'life' before his time was up. They did not question it, they did not care, what was it to their infant minds if their caretaker was on borrowed time... Falassion intrested them in only one way.
It fed their ego, wich to them was simply heavenly, which on most days would not be a term they would use. That is, if they could use terms.

Ah, wonderful, Iris thought to herself from the doorway as she surveyed the all of little fae busy finishing the decorations for the winter formal. Truth be told, the guardian was glad the Falassion House had been so welcome to the idea, but seeing how beautifully it was being showcased, a bit of free advertisement seemed to be just what the place needed. She flew into the foyer and looked around.
Coat room for checking clothing and other personal items to the right; it seemed pretty standard issue. A few fae were manning the coat room, one on the sign-in/out sheet and the others ready to store the personal effects. The room was pretty small and dark, with a lamp by the counter/door the only light casting strange shadows on the back wall.
To the left was a nursery for the infants, toddlers, and whichever of the children didn't want to dance. She buzzed into the room and looked around with an inspecting eye at the row of cribs; all seemed lavishly furnished with soft blankets and revolving mobiles. She checked the changing table for diapers and other changing paraphenalia; all was stocked well. In the corner by the window, she could see a toy box with toddler-safe toys. She figured even older kids could find a way to entertain themselves, with the box of crayons on the window seal. Everything was in order here, and she would leave the Pae'Il to watch their own young.
Flitting out from the nursery, she flew out into the ballroom. To the right, she could see the doors to the baths, covered with streamers and balloons; in front of the door, several round tables with chairs and lovely centerpieces sat, waiting for Pae'Il tired from dancing to hover around them.
To the right, she could see long rectangular tables against the wall. Many delicious looking foods were lined up, ready to be sampled. A large punch bowl took up half of one of the tables. Oh no, she thought, let's hope the children behave! To the left of the punchbowl, some mistletoe dangled, making Iris chuckle softly; tonight would be fun to observe. To the right of the tables, up against the stage stood a grand Christmas tree, bejeweled with ornaments and a large glowing star perched at the very top.
The large dancefloor dominated the center of the room, with the stage against the back wall. Here, the fae band was preparing to play. "You didn't manage to get the band from Hula Bob's?" she asked a fae. "No, ma'am, but maybe they'll play a set if they show up," a rather punk-rock looking fae answered. "Good deal," Iris replied, giving the fae a "rock on" signal; true it was immature, but it didn't hurt to make them happy. Fae worked hard with little credit.
Satisfied that everything looked perfect, Iris flew up and perched on a column to watch.

"WELCOME TO THE FIFTH AGE WINTER FORMAL 2006!"
announces a fae as you enter. "Please let us take your coat. My you look nice this evening!"
As you sign your coat in, you notice a list of rules on the wall.
RULES:
1. IC posting please. Any OOC posting can be done in the main thread. If you'd like to announce that you're leaving, etc, to whomever you're RPing with, it's fine to OOC post it with your IC post. Just don't have OOC conversations in here.
2. All shop rules apply. All Gaia rules apply.
3. It is preferred that infants and toddlers be left in the nursery to be attended to. Children are allowed in the nursery, or the main hall as long as they have a chaperone.
4. King and Queen will be voted on by the general populace. More on that later.
5. Please don't terrorize the fae! They're here to keep everything stocked on the buffet line and to make sure everything runs smoothly.
6. Party hard and enjoy yourselves!

Quinn peered in, anxiously. Parties weren't really her thing, but she was here anyway. With her arms full of infant twins, the demon teen smiled at the entrance fae's greeting and was pointed toward the nursery. "Aww isn't this cute?!" she cooed to the babies as she looked at the happy nursery decor. "A change is just what you two need," she followed up, heading toward the changing station. This is it, she thought, I'll watch the babies tonight!
Kali bounced in Quinn's arms; she liked the commotion and was eager to shove one of the little blinky things into her mouth, although I'm sure whatever fae she got into her mouth would be very unhappy.
Siva clung hesitantly to Quinn, looking around with skeptical nervousness.
((BASICALLY, QUINN IS WORKING IN THE NURSERY. FEEL FREE TO DROP OFF YOUR KIDS WITH HER!))

Shiva was absolutely thrilled. A winter party? How totally perfect for her! Smiling, she entered the ballroom, already twitching to dance. "I wonder who'll be here...."
Head turning here and there, with excitement and happiness, her hair flew everywhere in long coils, sure to stun anyone that got smacked by them. The icy Pae almost caught herself in the face with one!
Aleylia was almost as pleased. She was a friendly little Pae, and liked to meet others. But really, she was a bit afraid that Shiva might get carried away. Or worse, would seriously tick off Venedrian. They'd dragged their brother all the way out here to babysit the little Fae, and Aleylia wasn't stupid. Angel and Demon, and neither liked the other.
Sighing a bit, she pulled Shiva towards the nursery, and smiled at the purple demon there. "Hello. May I come in?"

Three tall figures entered the Healing house, the three elders were rather excited about the party, Polgara the most, even if she wasn't going to spend time mingling, she was going to help out in the nursery with the kids, maybe mingle later as the night got later and some of the kids slept.
Sol and Hi went to the coat room, Hi signed in his swords, and Sol stood with him waiting, these two hoped for a smooth night, and were watchful for troublemakers. While they had faith in the Fae staff to keep order, both couldn't turn down their feelings of wanting to defend the party goers as well.
Polgara smiled as neared the nursery, she saw people already there, and she slid right by them. "Pardon," She said as she slipped in and looked around, getting herself acclimated to the surronding of the new nursery. She wasn't used to the room, having not been to Falassion before, so now was the best time.
A few minutes behind the Elder, a Shetani teen entered, looking around, he'd avoided his mother all day to come here and mingle, he wanted to see what his competition was, and well, he just wanted to smooze with people!
Another teen entered behind him, looking around and frowning. Why was he even here, he thought to himself. "Oh well, beats reading," Lucius mumbled to himself as he made his way into the room.

Reira entered the Falassion House with a child clinging to her hand and a look of wonder on her face. The decorations were like nothing she'd seen; she'd had no idea what to expect since she was rarely in the city at all. She nodded politely to the fae who greeted her. "Thankyou," she replied before making her way farther inside. "Now, you behave, okay?" she addressed the child, stopping in front of the nursery.
"I will!" Laugh-a-Lot replied cheerfully before turning to enter the nursery. She spotted another child and smiled at her. "Hello! How are you?"
Convinced that Laugh-a-Lot would be just fine, Reira looked to see if anyone familiar was here. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness enough to identify a few elders, which surprised her, but she allowed that to pass. Then she spotted a few Pae'il that were her age. She moved over toward them, nervous butterflies fluttering around in her stomach. Figuring that she couldn't do too much harm with a friendly introduction, she swallowed her nerves and walked over to the teens who had just entered the room. "Hi, I don't think we've met," she began, her voice calm. "I'm Reira."

Alturius grinned and bowed slightly, barely letting his hip bend. "No, I don't think we have, I'm Alturius," He chuckles a little and straightens himself. "So, what brings you to this little Fete?"
Lucius smiled a bit sheepishly and bowed his head. "Hi, I'm Lucius," He offered the girl his hand to shake.
Polgara watched as the newest child entered the nursery and she smiled, movign about as she was again getting used to the enviorment.

Reira nodded her head in greeting, smiling pleasantly, and, after the tiniest hesitation, gently presented her own hand to Lucius. "Alturius, and Lucius. It's nice to meet you." Her mind was already registering that these two seemed a bit more formal in their ways than the Pae she had met at Hula Bob's. She didn't mind, though; she loved having variety in her acquaintances and life in general.
"I heard about this little gathering while I was doing a bit of shopping," she replied to Alturius. "It sounded enjoyable, so I came. How about you two?"

Alturius laughed and smiled, "Same reason as you, I needed to get away from my mother for awhile, so I decided to head over here and see how things were going, it did sound like a fun time, so I figured, why the hell not you know?"
Lucius nodded. "I wanted to get out of the house and clear my thoughts, so I figured this would be a good place to do it," He bowed his head slowly.

"It's a nice escape," Reira agreed, observing the decorations and music. She let a few seconds pass before feeling not only a need to keep the conversation going, but also an interest in learning more about these two. "So, what do you two do when you're not at formal winter galas?" she asked, punctuating her question with a small laugh.

"I uh, read," Lucius chuckled weakly and scratched the back of his head a little. "I'm really quite the homebody," He looked away.
Alturius grined. "I wander aroudn the isle and inspect what will be rightfullly mine someday," He bowed his head. "But it will be some time in coming," His eyes drifted to the Elders that were in view and he shook his head. "Once I take care of a few bumps in the way to my kingship."

Reira smiled warmly at Lucius; she could relate. "There's nothing wrong with that! I was like that for a while, too."
What Alturius said caused her eyes to grow wide, though. "Kingship?" As far as she knew, there wasn't any royalty around here, just the Elders. The thought reminded her of how Tiki Jim called her 'princess' from time to time, however, and this caused her to giggle a bit. She brought up her hand to cover her mouth, not wanting Alturius to think she was laughing at him, but she failed to hide anything. She didn't seem to catch what he meant by 'a few bumps.'

Alturius chuckled, "You laugh now, but you'll see, I will have this entire isle in my grip," He raised his hand and clenched his fist with a smile. "But enough, no need to talk about it now, today is a day I relax and have-fun"
"If you say so," Luicus said, in reply to both Alturius and Reira. "I think I need to work more on getting out more,"
