Dragnid Forest
A dark and grim wood, dangerous and full of hate. It is a place of death and dangerous creatures, the hate is palpable there, and even the trees will attack those that foolishly tread into its dark depths.
Dragnid Forest is the Home of Dragoir, the Protecting Fire Spirit. While he has yet to make his appearance on Telrunya in Pae form, his spirit still resides here, waiting.

Dagen grumped along as she dawdled towards the large swamp that existed deep in the center of Dragnid. The swamp was so deep in fact, hardly any other pae knew there was on there.
Back to the story... Dagen grumped, as was par for the course with her these days, until she hit the edge of the muddy swamp. She had been carrying an armload full of nice sized rocks. Well, as many as she could hold. She wasn't He-Man or anything. Why she was carrying rocks to the swamp was a mystery, tho. Just some days, she felt like chucking rocks at the tall pillar in the center of the swamp. If she got a good hit, sometimes she'd knock chunks off of it. One day, she'd managed to fall an entire pillar. (there were several, as it looked like there was once a building built on the swamp.) Sure it was a small pillar, no higher then she was tall, but she'd describe it differently if anyone asked.
Sometimes, she'd envision Warslik's face on the pillars. Sometimes it was Zaden's. Sometimes, she just felt like letting off a little steam.
Setting the rocks on an old piece of rotten log that had been half submerged into the murky water, she lifted one of the larger ones up and looked around to see if she could find a good target today.

Warslik wasn't in a particular good mood either. Lately he'd been more and more, aggressive. Nomrally he wasn't one to start fights, or actively go after other Pae'il, but lately, something was making him more and more angry at even the littlest thing.
Just the other day in fact, a large bug had bothered him, buzzing around his head like crazy and making it really hard for him to hear himself think, so without second thought, he'd smooshed the thing hard againt a tree and had moved on, something the usually semi-meek Warslik wasn't prone to do. He didn't know what was causing it, but it was SEROUSLY pissing him off.
Right now tho, he was on his way to the swamp for a soak, he just wanted to sink into the murky water and forget all his troubles for awhile, especially those two small brat things that had bugged him earlier. OH, he'd wanted to kill the shiny one, she'd gotten WAY too close for his comfort zone, and thankfully Bix had been a good shot and scared them off.
Speaking of Bix, Warslik had banished the imp DAYS ago, over a pesky dispute over what log Warslik should nap on, the imp had wanted away from the sun, but Warslik had been in the mood to soak up some sun. He didn't even really notice Dee until he was almost right on top of her.
"Dee..." He grunted, moving out of the way of her rock pile to try to find a clear area to slip into.

"Dum Slik, I not want to be around you today. I need ta smash things." She growled to show her bad mood. She would have shaken a fist at him, if her hands handn't been full. But she did shake a large rock at him. "Maybe I just chuck one at you to make me feel good." She grinned evilly at him, then eyed the rock a little before looking back at him.
"How you find me anyways, Slik?"

"I not find you, I come to water to get wet," Warslik said plainly sinking into the mucky water and letting out a content noise. "Slik not care if you chuck rocks at him, but if you do, he gotta throw it back," He chuckled. "Harder too, Slik just want to 'lax, not had good time." He closed his eyes and let his wings and tail relax into the dark water. "Mmmm... Water good."

Okay, So this is why she liked to pretend to throw rocks at Slik lately. He talked back too much! This angered her and only made her want to do it even more. She pulled her arm back and held it a minute. "There other water to go, dum jerk." she let her arm fly, flinging a stone at Warslik.
She didn't wait to see if it hit before she'd taken off to hid behind a log. She knew he'd throw it back if hit him. If it didn't, she'd chuck the other one she still had in her hand. She was gonna teach him a lesson no matter what!

"OW!" Warslik grunted rubbing his head growling as he fished for the rock in the water, actually ducking down into it as he found it and then flung it back twice as hard at the log. "STUPID DEE, that hurt!" He grumbled, reaching up to touch the sore spot and feel it with his thumb. "OW!" He pulled his hand away and saw red. "BAH, you cut me!" He grunted, trying to guage how bad the rock had busted his temple open. "I gonna get you Dee!" He grumped, ducking down into the water again. Now he felt like hiding so he could be sad. He wouldn't allow Dee to see him sad.

"NO, SLIK STUPID!" Dagen yelled back as the rock wizzed right by her head. She was shocked he was as acurate as he was considering he didn't aim or anything. She felt the wind from that one! "Slik turned into a big dum jerk that don't listen anymore. You stop mouthin' off and I stop throwing rocks!" She knew he didn't have any more rocks so she climbed up from behind the and stomped towards him, the other rock in her hand held ready. "Good! I glad I got'chu!"

Warslik sniffed, now she was calling him STUIPD, insult onto injury, now he really wanted to go hide in a corner. "No... Dee stupid... cause... Cause.... JUST CAUSE!" Warslik shouted back with a shaky voice. His head hurt BAD, He did not like this, why did Dee have to be so MEAN all the time. He grumbled. "I not jerk, you jerk, you started it!" He shouted at her. SHe had after all, he'd just wanted to soak!

"Slik, you do this to yourself." Dagen tried explaining. "If you just LISTEN I wouldn't have to throw rocks." She still sounded mad. "You a crybaby yanno that?" He was no fun to fight with when he cried, so she figured she'd leave him alone for now and just get on with her task.
She waded out into the mucky water till she was waist deep. She wasn't scared of the creatures that lived there, because she was quick enough to dodge usually. She sighed a little and envisioned Warslik's face on the top of the pillar and hurled the rock as hard as she could towards it.

Warslik grumped. "I not a crybaby!" He grumbled, ducking down so that his nose was barely above the water. He closed his eyes and tried to focus himself, once he got his head to stop being so much of a pain, which was acutally really hard, he opened his eyes and looked at Dee.
"Dee?" He called out at her. "Slik sorry he make you mad, he listen now...Slik be good."
A part of him was not happy going belly up, but dang it, he'd rather have piece with Dee, than pieces of him hurting bad.

Dagen was feeling rather triumphant. Warslik was easy to control, he just got stubborn sometimes.
"Slik, why you here? I never seen you here 'fore." Dagen asked in her normal civilized (to her) tone.

"I got bugged by the big water, so I come here where I found small water," He said, floating before dipping his head under to get his hair wet. His wings fluttered a little, stirring up the water as he surfaced. "I not want to be bugged by small annoying things, so I come here to soak, maybe go back to log and sun..."

Dagen shook her head. "You bug too easily... You just smoosh those bugs." she spoke matter-of-factly. "You know... they's bugs in this water that will eat you..." He seemed to not know much about the swamp if he's dipping his head so readily under the water.

"I try, they dumb, one tried to grab Bix," Warslik laughed at the thought... That is, until he heard about the bugs that eat you.
You'd better bet he was practically ontop of Dee at that point. "WHERE!"
