Koin stared into the water lightly, slightly depressed. He couldn't find his klipspringer friend after his pups where born. His red eyes closed as he felt the wind blush lightly against his white and red fur. His gaze turned to its usually calm expression as he sat up. He looked over the watering hole to the setting sun.

 Exploring around the little pup had found the sky interesting as it changed colors. Upon looking down he spotted his father. Curious as ever he pranced over to Koin. "Daddy? What are you doing?" he said as he came closer to the water.

Koin looked at his son. The boy inherited the red of his coat and his eyes. "I'm just thinking..." he replied looking down at the pup. The sun was going farther down, making the sky above darker blue. Shattered stars would start to appear soon.

Kylosus tilted his head, "About what?" he asked. His grey tipped tail wagged, he looked at the sky once more. Wondering why it changed colors, it seemed so pretty now that it was darker. He looked at his father and copied his pose. Trying to make himself look older.

"Just... about traveling, and a friend that I have..." Kai said with a light smile, seeing his son copy how he was sitting. "Why are you out here anyways? Its getting late...." he asked using his paw to touch the water.

"Traveling? is it fun?" He looked around, "So. I got bored, no one wants to play with me." He watched the water ripple.

"Its..." Koin paused for a moment, trying to gather the correct word for his travels. "Hard sometimes, to keep wandering with no real home to turn to, but it was fun," he said, choosing his words carefully. He looked at the water, tapping it again, letting the water ripple once again. "And I'm sure all your siblings are too tired to play."

"Hard?.." Ky stopped to think for a moment. Some many things went through his mind. He looked back down at the water watching it as the ripples spread and disappeard. "Daddy.. How long is travelling?" He asked as if he was planning to travel some day.

"Traveling? It depends. I traveled for as long as I can remember," Koin said. It was very far though, he could only remember back to his adolesent life, and his puphood sometimes. Koin smiled lightly.

Ky looked at his father curious of his travels. He wondered about all the interesting animals he could have met and how many fights he had been in. Wagging his tail a bit he looked at his own refection, "What was your greatest travel?"

"I fought of a cat and saved a mother of two," he said casually, like it was nother. It was true, though Chachili did help him. He chuckled lightly at the thought and looked back at his son before looking up the the sky. it was gradually getting darker, and stars littered the sky.

Ky looked at his father with wide eyes. "wow! You are a hero daddy?!" he said with a proud voice. His dad is a hero! that is the coolest thing ever right? His tail wagged and he stood up. Being so small the sight of the stars behind his father made him even more excited. it was as if the stars themselves realised the hero that they shined behind.

Koin chuckled again lightly. "Not really..." he said. "I was just a wanderer following with, that just happened to stop by," Koin grinned. he frowned lightly, noticing that a child would want their father to be a hero, but it didn't cross his mind. He didn't even remember his puphood, so why would he know what to do in a situation such as that?

Ky looked at the water for a minute to think. "Will I grow up to be like you daddy?" his admiration of Kion was strong and he wanted to be just like him someday. His tail wagged, he looked at the water again at his refection. He hoped it would show him the way he wanted to see himself, as a great leader or hero. But the water only showed him how small he was.

"Only if you want to be," Koin said with a smile. "Just be your own person..." he said. He nuzzled the small pup with his maw. Koin looked into the water as well. His son's pride made him smile. He didn't have so much pride in his tired form. He seemed a bit weakened.
