~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I am fully aware that this is the Elagent Gothic Lolita Guild. But I think there should be a place were we talk about other parts of loli fashion. My personal favorite form of Loli fashion is Sweet/Baby Lolita. So *tada* I made a sub thread just about Sweet/Baby Lolita. (IRL I call it baby lolita instead of sweet lolita. For some reason it just rolls out of my mouth better compared to sweet lolita).

4laugh One of my friends calls it "Baby Lolita", too. Though, I think it might be that she gets it mixed up with Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, because that is her favorite brand. blaugh Do you have a favorite brand? ^-^
--also, thanks for making the thread. ^^ I wondered why we didn't have separate conversations for various Lolita subcultures. (: --

oh yay! Sweet lolita is the best kind of lolita there is! (in my opinion) Ive never heard anyone refer to it as Baby lolita. I like calling it sweet lolita.... So uh yea! im a sweet lolita at heart and i am waiting to purchase/make my first loli outfit soon. heart My favorite brand is of course Baby, the stars shine bright. Angelic pretty is ok and some of metamorphse stuff is ok but nothing can ever tear me apart from BTSSB (my mom said i can get the skirt I want! but only if i find it on ebay cry i have to keep checking to see if someone will put it up and if not ill just find another skirt i like from BTSSB on ebay and buy it there)

If you aren't against remakes, there are a couple of webstores that do them at decent prices. (: But I totally understand wanting the real thing.. Maybe keep an eye on Closet Child to see if you can get something second hand, too. I'd be psyched if my mom told me I could have something from Baby. XD

As a DIY lover, I would be happy to receive a "Baby" remake. Remakes are cool because you can get it customizable to suite your own style. You can ask for alterations and all that fun stuff! Plus prices are SO much better!
I would love to goto Japan to Harajuku to see Sweet Lolita on the street. *that would be so cool.*. I planed a trip, but we/i didn't go.... *>.<*. Oh well. I am a lolita lover, but no one would know that about me. *being a guy* i can't show my LOLITA PRIDE!. :'(

That's so cool that you like Lolita and are a guy, though. A lot of people who like it are simply Lolitas themselves. I guess it's pretty hard to be a Sweet Lolita and a guy, though... unless dresses and such suit you well. ^^ I accidentally turned my friend into a Lolita, and she got into Sweet Lolita. (I like Sweet Lolita a lot, but I tend to dress mostly Elegant Gothic and Classic because Sweet looks really extreme on me... not great for school and daily wear.) It'd be really fun to go to Tokyo and wander around Harajuku to see and maybe take pictures of the Lolitas! One day..... xd

Amalolies are my most faved~ I guess they're the real reason I started adoring J-fashion/Lolita... They and the EGL are the only Lolistyles I allow myself to crossdress as.
Lately I became very found in Gurololies too, I should upload some sketches of mine [of them] sometimes~

Sweet Lolita is my favorite style of Lolita, which is why my favorite brands are Angelic Pretty and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. Lately though, I'm starting to not really like some of the things Baby makes, even if I do not own anything from them, yet.

Amaloli (sweet lolita) definately has to be my favorite, followed by prolly EGL.

Me in the dress I just sewed. How's it look? I know it's based off of a bodyline one, but that doesn't make it all bad, does it?

Every day EXCEPT Labor Day is AFTER some other Labor Day. That was a stupid "rule" to begin with.

K l o n o p i n Every day EXCEPT Labor Day is AFTER some other Labor Day. That was a stupid "rule" to begin with. rofl yeah it is i guess. i just need to find a white coat so i dont look funny. all my coats are black (besides this blue suede one and a brown suede one) @Nanie Chama that blue dress is pretty! i think though to make it a better look you should make a head dress and fluff out your hair a bit, then it could be king.
