He was on the prowl, he wanted contact with another anthro for time in a while, he had been obsorbed in other things lately so he had been extremly deprived, at least according to his own standards. He was watching intently, looking for prey in the shop, watching and waiting.

James was curious about the shop, but decided to stay outside. He peered in through the window looking at the warm anthros inside.

Looking over he spotted a shirtless anthro staring from the outside. The shirtless wolf got up from the couch he was sitting on and crossed his arms. He stared strait at the anthro through the window daring him to come inside with his eyes.

James caught eyes with the wolf, and and couldn’t turn away. He seemed interesting, and dangerous at the same time. James didn’t really know why, but he found himself walking inside and up to the wolf. “Hi, I’m James. Should you scare me, because at the moment I‘m just interested?”

Carah smirked as he saw the boy not looking away, once the boy started moving towords the door he knew he had won what he wanted. Without giving the boy his name he grabbed his wrist and pulled him behing him, he started walking towords the door which he had just come in "scared yet" he asked as he pulled the boy towords the ally beside the shop

“I’ve seen a lot, dude, it’ll take more then this to scare me.” James said as he was pulled behind the wolf. “But you seem strong, and that is something that I can respect. Tell me your name.” James moved quickly to keep up with the other anthro.

Carah just smirked "your lcuky i'm not in a bad mood because that would have earned you a good punch in the stomach" he said as they were covered by shadows, he let go and turned around and crossed his arms over his bare chest "don't order me" he said sternly "Carah" he eventually answered, the boy had courage, so he complied and gave his name

“I’m use to men beating me, Carah. I’m use to them passing me around like a prize.” James dropped his head, and stepped back into the shadows. “Is that what this is now? Are your buddies about to show up?” James raised his chin, and looked the wolf straight in the eye.

Carah stepped forward and raised his hands, he rested his fingers gently as he held the boys chin up slightly "I wont hit you, I don't beat anyone unless its a fight, and if I ever saw someone getting beaten or passed around like you said you were, those people that were doing it would regret them ever doing it on front of me" he voice was gentle for those few sentances before they hardened once more, he stepped back and waited for the boys reaction

“I don’t understand you. Why are you different?” His left hand came up to fidget with his tie before running it down his chest. “I can tell you want me. If not, what do you want from me?” James’ turned his head slightly to the left, and bit his lower lip. Hesitantly he raised his hand and put it on the wolf’s chest while still looking away.

Carah watched the boy calmly "because I have self respect and respect for courage" he answered "I do want you, but you proved you have courage, I respect that" The boy watched the hand move to his chest and sighed a bit "what is it" he asked, he was at conflict with his childhood an his personality, his mind was telling him to just take advantage of the boy and leave him, this was his chosen prey after all, but his childhood and all the sh*tty things that had happened were telling him otherwise and were winning, he didnt want to put the boy through anymore just like Carah didnt want anymore to happen to himself, thats why he had gotten strong, thats why he defended others

“ I’m not strong. If I was strong I would have been able to stop them. I’m also not brave.” James chuckled slightly to himself. “I may be stupid, but I’m not brave.” The small boy crossed his arms over his chest, and started rubbing himself. “If your not going to throw me on the ground, can we at least go somewhere warm. It seems that nether of us have enough clothes. I don’t want to go in that shop though. Too many anthros I don’t know.”

Carah nodded and began walking away, he gave a motion for the boy to follow him "come on then, we'll go to my place, none of the other anthro's ever come into my apartment, they know better" he said simply, they knew better because he had already threatened to punch a few of them, one he had because he had just barged in.

James followed closely, but quietly, behind Carah as they walked to the apartment. As they walked he chewed on his lower lip. He never let himself fall more the a step behind the wolf.
