The adult had met many lionesses, and also a few since visiting those mysterious lands with Mapenzi. He'd felt so drawn to them. Smiling to himself he noticed he'd stopped walking and shook his head. He'd see her again, and those lands he'd felt so drawn to, well he was sure he'd see those again too.
Smiling he continued. He was now simply more bored than anything, the same happened each day. He wondered about, agitated in the midday heat. Sometimes he'd find someone and stop to socialize. He'd been lucky enough not to meet any intimidating males, but just a few snappy or otherwise devastated females.
He looked up to the horizon, the sun had just set and the evening was cool. Perhaps now it was time to settle down for a rest?

Thus far, her travels had been quite uneventful. Since she had left the swamp lands with one of her sons, she hadn't run into any other lion that she particularly remembered. But it was probably for the best, being as she was never in a good mood these days. Losing her mate so suddenly had really struck her hard, and she couldn't help but to be bitter.
Moving about in the darkening evening, she huffed and flicked her tail against the short grasses. Her son was off somewhere, and it bothered to her to think of what he might be doing. Forcing herself to think of something different, her mind wandered to various different subjects. How were her two daughters and other son? Were they mad at her for leaving? No, they shouldn't be. It wasn't her fault their father had disappeared and she no longer found any reason to stay in the swamps.
Making her mood worse than before, she simply stopped thinking about anything. She focused solely on her paws and the slight rhythm that they made against the hard dirt with every step.
It wasn't too long before she grew within distance of a stranger. A male stranger. The wind blew lightly at her face, and that was when she was alerted to his presence. Her nose twitched and she stopped mid-step to lift her head and look around. She was blind in one eye, making it difficult for her to scan the area as well as she would have liked. But finally she spotted him.
Great. Just what she needed. Flattening her ears, she simply stood there and waited. She wanted to see if he was aggressive or not.

Or perhaps not. Suddenly a grey female came into his view and his bright green eyes narrowed to pinpoint her form. She wasn't actually too far away, though the beckoning darkness was enough to conceal her already some-what dark form.
Moving foward he approached her politely, and bowing his head in his usual pretty manner, he addressed her with a friendly voice. "Good evening." He was blinded for a moment, when a few strands of his dark mane fell over his eyes. He found this usually happened with his greeting gesture so chose to ignore it.
Finally he pulled his head up and stood tall. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?" He was always the considerate one, and most definately always one to use his manners, that was his mothers good influence. Mbaraka smiled.

Sehani eyed the other as he moved closer. She had been attacked once in strange lands, and she wasn't about to let it happen again. Keeping her guard up, she held her ground and simply watched his every move. Yet she was slightly puzzled when he spoke in a friendly manner towards her. Look who was Mr. Sunshine.
Rolling her eyes, she shook her head, making her fur tuft go in between her eyes and revealing her blind eye.
"Is it such a good one?" she replied bitterly. It didn't seem like it to her. Her son was off by himself and she didn't know where he was, and then there was this smiley, cheery male who told her good evening like a nice gentleman.
When he asked who she was, she narrowed her eyes at him. "Just a rogue," she replied guardedly, obviously not trusting him. And she had no reason to, either. What had he done to earn her trust? It was obvious she was a little lacking in manners. Either that or she just wasn't in a good mood.
"What do you want?"
