Possibly the worst of all the districts, this place is often the home of bloodbaths, and regular hollow attacks. Putting Kusajishi to shame, very few people dare to traverse into this area, for fear of their lives. Natives of this district are far from friendly, and are instead, avid lovers of violence, and destruction. Most houses here are rundown slums and old shacks, and rarely is anyone bold enough to venture to stay for a time.

Ugu, ever walking and swaying with his height, stopped in front of a shattered hut. He stood there, looking around himself and at the nakedness of the scene. No blood was on the grass, or on the dirt path he stood on. It was an odd spot in Zaraki, being uncovered by blood, and all. The Shinigami touched the hilt of his Zanpakutou with his left hand. It loosely held firm onto the green-woven handle of the soul cutter.
His feet, that day, had brought him to Zaraki; The Barbarian District of Soul Society. He stood there, then, watching the dust wade around the path. Silence was another thing uncommon to Zaraki. A very unlikely thing. Silence normally led to a hasty explosion of violence. Normally, at least.
This day seemed to be abnormal.

The Universe. Soul Society. The Human World. Hueco Mundo. The three worlds that keep the balance with each other. If one over flows, the others shrink. If those shrink, they will die off-causing the shifting of stability in the universe. It's a simple case of 4+4+4=12. If one of the fours become a three, then the universe would make a dive downward to eleven.
If one removed one value all together, there'd be only 'eight' in the universe. If one removed two values, the universe would become 'four'. But where would the other two values go? They'd have to go somewhere. Matter, soul energy, and humanity is something that'll never just 'disapear' and forever be gone. It'd have to go somewhere.
When a human dies it goes to soul society. When a soul dies it is either sent to Hueco Mundo, or back into the Human World. Or, atleast, that's what Ugu believed to be the case. Ugu unsheathed his sword at this point, and brought the blade infront of himself. He held the sword with both of his hands.

"Do not delude yourself," he said to himself as he began to feel a creeping cold up his spine. Nothing lasted forever. Soul Society, the Human World, The Hollow-Lands.. Eventually they'd all be killed off, and their 'fours' together would make another, a better, twelve. It was an inevitable piece of the universe.
So, on this peaceful day in Zaraki, Ugu would find himself in the center of an abandoned path. A slow wind went up the pathway, from the south, and fumed a small dust cloud toward the north. The small rickity hut in front of himself, on the eastern side of the road, only seemed to stand up due to the bones and skulls of people placed beneath it. Aside from the house, there only lew forestry in his vision.
It was the forest that witness every murder. It was the forest that survived every battle. It was the forest that would chew upon the corpses of the fallen, clearing the way for another corpse to fall. Ugu's right hand tightened around the green hilt of Egeus as his thoughts went toward the thought of the savages in this district.

The shinigami sighed to himself as he watched the emptiness of the lane. It was strange. Zaraki was famed for its immense and non-stop bloodbaths. Where was the fighting now? Ugu sighed, again, as his contemplated his next action.
Ugu then went toward the small hut. His sword, wielded by both hands, cut down upon the door. It would cut through the paper thin 'door', and reveal the darkness within the small wooden hole to the light outside its walls. The Shinigami would stare into the grayish-blankness of the furred floor.

And, from the darkness, a being struck out a Ugu. It burst from the carpeted floor, attempting to stab the shinigami with a barbed-dagger. The man, or woman, seemed to come at Ugu with a blinding spat of speed, and attempted to stab Ugu's broad shoulder.
However, as the beast like person struck out Ugu stepped back. He moved back onto the step of the shack, to try and make his opponent lunge into the midday's light.

The shadowed being met the light, facing Ugu with its face. It was a haggard looking old man, who was dressed in gray rags not fit for even a beggar. The attacker's eyes then widened, seeing that he had just attacked a Shinigami. Ugu's eyes narrowed and met the eyes of the attacking soul.
"Peace be with you," Ugu said as he swiftly changed his grip. He twisted his own wrists so that they would face toward the sky, and have his sword tip pointing downward with his blade edge facing the demented soul. The shinigami then brought up his blade in a massive swing to do justice to the attacker.

Ugu's sword passed upward, making way toward the beggar's side. The Zanpakutou then passed upward through the rag-wearing soul. Egeus passed through the male, ripped through the clothes of the individual.
Blood would stain the floor around the beggar's feet. Blood would also stain the grass outside the doorway, where Ugu currently stood.

Ugu's Zanpakutou, Egeus, was covered in blood. The red liquid wormed itself down the sword's blade, licking off the handle as it fell to the ground beneath Egeus. The shinigami sighed, then, as he looked upon the darkened hut. It was empty, and rife with the smell of a the gone soul. The man sighed, again, as he turned to view the forest on the other side of the path.

Hidden away from Ugu's vision were several barbarians. All of them wore swords, and were peering at Ugu through the thick foliage. They saw how the shinigami had slew a man in one quick cut. And, from seeing that, they knew that the black garbed fighter was one to enjoy a battle with.
So they waited for the perfect time to attack Ugu.

Ugu, from his vantage point, could only spot five of the seven bandits. However, now that he knew that they were there, he would be able to handle them appropriately. It would probably be fairly simple dealing with the bandits, too. A couple of sword swings and they'd all be dead. Easy.
Ugu raised his right hand and pointed at the first of the few bandits he could see. "Byakurai ("White lightning")." The lightning would flash from his extended fingers, striking forward at the bandit. Its thunderous presence shook the birds from their roosts, and made it so that the above air was filled with fleeing avians.

The lightning flashed into the bandit's small phalanx. It heated the air and singed the surrounding trees with its white brilliance. Ugu's finger still kept itself pointing where he wished to hit his opponent, and his left hand held onto his Zanpakutou. This move was a sure-kill on the weaker target.

'Splat' would describe the attack rather well. Ugu's Bayakurai had hit its mark, and had caused the first of the seven bandits to meet their bloody end. The Shinigami had to resist his chuckling as he heard the bandits scream about their fallen comrade.
However, since he was still in battle, the shinigami resisted laughing. He Shunpoed into the middle of the group of 6 bandits and cut donwards with his Zampakutou. The third bandit would most likely have himself cut into two pieces, and instantly killed, by the Death God's cut.
Along with cutting down at #2 with a Zanmpakutou with his left hand, Ugu pointed his right index finger at #3. "Byakurai ("White lightning")," he said halfheatedly as a lightning bolt flashed toward the very near bandit.

Blood would splatter across the forest floor as Ugu's sword connected with the bandit's shoulder. A retching flash of blood flavoured the bark of the already singed trees around Ugu. Another scream came out from the mouth of his opponent, shuddering with an inner turmoil that only another, who has also been insanely cut open, could relate.
