I was really excited about the halloween event right from the storyline update with the aliens. And I must say, the event turned out phenomenal
I must personally thank the gaian mods, dev's, programmers, and anyone else who participated in the making of the Halloween 2K6 event.
Now, for the discussion. whee

As you can tell, I was able to obtain ALL the event items (and some doubles.) Even with the the event being during the week!

I almost got all the items, all but the probe items because I refused to turn into an alien ;-;
Oh well. I got everything else n.n No doubles of the cow bell but doubles and some triples of everything else.
I adore the Jack hat.

I got all the trick or treating things and the cow bell.. I wanted the others but I ran oiut of time because I was doing homework most of the week

I think the event ran really well. People fought a bit over the cows, but it wasn't close to the split that the enforced threads of H2k5 created.
I also like that if an alien was zapped by a human, it wouldn't be turned human and have to rebuy the zurg drink... like how you'd have to keep buying vials in H2k4 to remain human during the event... expensive. x.x
The items are awesome. <3 I like how the shirt actually looks good on a female avatar, for once~ The set still looks better on a male avi, but that's to be expected.

When I heard there where cow bells I immideatly went on search for cows... I'm quite pleased. I wish I'd gotten the probing items though.. they look so cool! ;-;
I didnt wanna turn alien though... it scared me.

I like the Halloween items because not only do they look cool, but they made me a profit of 140k+
I was selling Jack Hats 2k cheaper than everyone else and I was still making 18k and up the day of the event.
I feel better now because I can actually do something with my avi, and keep my items, instead of selling everytime to make a new outfit.

Eh, I turned alien because I knew I could change back. I feel sorry for the grombies who turned alien, thinking they'd keep their skin. ^^;;

Yeah, although people find the site boring when they have nothing to quest... It's good to know that you can buy something without having to sell any other items you love.

me too. I worked my butt off during the H2k5 event, and i wasnt even able to get the first skin change. and then those people who got the grombies, went and lost them. i feel so bad for them. =(

I luckily found the time to be online during H2k5. I got in early, so I was able to make the stage one grombie. ...I thought the other stages were too ugly to continue... ^^;
I wish the alien bodies weren't so weird. Most clothing items don't look right with those bodies...
Although I have seen a couple people who used just the right items and made those skins look good.

I dont really like the event very much since whenever you try to probe something it says that someone alreay got it or something like that, and since my computer crashed during the event I got no items! anyone care to give me one?????
