Ugu Zenmaru sat on the rooftop of a grocer. He faced the massive expanse that was Seireitei and its orange tiled roofs. The Soul Society's HQ was separated from the rest of Rukongai with a small space of some twenty-odd meters. Between two worlds, it seemed.
Looking beyond the tiled top he sat on his eyes glazed to the orange tiles so far away. It brought something into perspective for the giant. There were not three worlds. Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and the mortal world were not the only realms. Ugu's eyes went to the small desolate expanse--to gauge the distance between the worlds.
Suddenly the shinigami felt very small. There were different levels of thoughts, power.. Gah.. So many different ways to view it all. So many ways to view these realms--so many viewpoints...

".. What would you prefer to be called?" The shinigami asked, pretty much rephrasing his earlier question. Butterflies don't normally talk like this--or at all. They normally conveyed their message and were off. This one seemed to want something. Oh well. It wasn't like Ugu knew anything about Soul Soceity or anything important to be of any real use to a spy.
He was only a meagre first squad member. Unranked, even.

".. So your mother didn't give you a name?.. My my.." The Shinigami frowned as he looked on at the small butterfly. "I've always had a name. I couldn't ever, in a thousand years, understand not having a name for myself." His lime coloured eyes continued to peer at the skull-crested insect. After a moment of thinking Zenmaru reopened his mouth, "So.. Er.. Do you have a message for me?"

"... So you just hopped onto my shoulder, said nothing for about ten minutes, and when I swatted you away you stuck yourself onto my back and chilled there for a while? And for no reason?" The large shinigami broke into laughter as his buttox rested on the red tiles of the building's roof top. His thick black garb slid slightly and relaxed as he then shifted his whole body backwards. Within a moment he was laying on his back and staring at the blue heavens above him.

"... ..." The shinigami turned his head from the butterfly. "And what can a butterfly offer me, Buttercup?" He frowned as he looked on at the divide between behind and Soul Society's gleaming white towers.

The unranked shinigami stood up, and swatted the butterfly from his shoulder. "I don't have time for you, un-named butterfly. Come see me if you every actually become useful." Ugu brushed some of the dust that had accumulated on his clothing from sitting on the roof for so long. Within a moment he turned to look at the forested green that lined the thin horizon of Soul Society's lone city.
He flash stepped off of the rooftop and landed on a building that was some odd twenty feet from him. Another flash step sent his blurring body even closer to the thin green stretch of land on the other side of Rukongai.

The man in the black cloak with the neckband that covers his face walks up towards the gates of Seireitei, his eyes under the large hat over his head rather impassive, despite their red color. Making out his features would be impossible at this point, though that's truly unimportant. A pair of swords is slung across his back, crossed, over the cloak somehow. He does nothing at the moment, but the aura that comes off of the man's body is enough to give one pause, even supressed as it is. He's keeping himself quiet, as it were, though the walls of the great city would keep his presence unfelt. How ironic, he thought, that the stone that dampens spiritual energy would keep others from sensing him inside the city he was soon to have a hand in destroying. In the street, others turn aside from him, as if they could sense his unnatural energies.
"It won't be long. Soon, I'll get to practice my art. I wonder..have you become any better in yours, since we last were together..Aichou?"
The man tugs his hat down over his eyes, and seems to lose himself in thought after speaking mostly to himself..

The forces had split up; the force lead by the woman was at the north gate; this force was at the west gate. That force should get there soon enough, and the men wheel in the gate lifting apparati as the man in the black high collared cloak just gestures..as the gate guardian draws his sword.
"Hadou no Rokujuu San, Raikouhou."
The eruption of thunder from the man in the black cloak blasts the guardian into the gate itself..before the guard slides down and hits the dirt facefirst. The man in the cloak withdraws his smoking hand back into the folds of the cloak, and nods..the men getting busy with using their constructed wooden devices to open the gate up slowly..a little tiny bit at a time..
